Guess who just made the "naughty" list? Santa Claus! For real? Yes, poor Santa has been falsely accused of theft; and, worse yet, he's been struck mute, leaving him unable to defend himself. No "toys" for him this year! Thus, you are hired by sweet Mrs. Claus to investigate this perplexing mystery. The storyline is sweet and tender, saving Santa Claus from a disgruntled adversary who wants to ruin the holiday spirit by sending Christmas presents to only the naughty children.
Your adventure is full of magical surprises, as you meet Jack Frost, a classical winter-related character who benefits your objectives. The settings are embellished in true Christmas fashion. Everywhere you go, the Christmas trees are decorated with all the trimmings; presents are neatly wrapped in every patterned paper you can imagine; and the scintillating Christmas lights are strung across the walls and balconies of homes.
The graphics are stunning in every facet. The details are vivid enough that I can see the fine lines in every object, thus creating a realistic portrayal of the environment.
The Hoss are thematically rendered to suit the holiday theme. They are highly interactive and diverse; a few are fashioned in the "find and use" and story-driven types. The varied, holiday-oriented puzzles are not difficult to solve, although this doesn't diminish their entertaining value. You will discover a few holiday treats throughout the locations.
This game is the perfect one to play with your grand kids due to its casual gameplay and lighthearted plot. When it comes to Christmas-themed games, I don't mind an easier mode of gameplay. The total playtime is lengthy and satisfying. I enjoyed this game very much.
