Fun app but needs to keep the watching history

The app is good but the current watching history is not maintained at all. If you are watching 90 episode for example , you need to search the show , then scroll to 25th episode( only 25 episodes shown at. Time) then click that then scroll another 25 then open that one and so on until you see the episode you want. Also you need to remember the episode you are wTching in the first place ;)

Absolutely atrocious app. Not recommended at all.

Downloaded this app hoping to watch some regional content in the US. But good lord, the app and website are just horrendous. First, why in the world does it show a random Google ad in the website and app, right up top? Feels like some random spam website stuff.
Second, the login is completely broken. ‘Get started ‘ and’Subscribe’ are straight up confusing option. Login/Register or Login/Subscribe should be the options. Also, the login option to proceed after entering the email just freezes up and doesn’t go to the OTP screen even after trying multiple times.
Also, clicking on the thumbnail should take me to the details of the film/TV show, not play the content. It is an extremely frustrating implementation.
It feels like no one developing this app and website has ever tried logging in and using this app. Won’t be re-subscribing once my month is done, feels like an extremely cheap experience for what Zee is charging.

Fleece subscription money fraudulently

I subscribed for a month, and then I went to Apple subscriptions to cancel my subscription and assumed that I won’t be charged after that. But then I got a charge on my credit card for an annual subscription, which I never intended to. When I went to the app, it showed that annual subscription was on and that auto renewal was also on. There was no option for me to cancel auto renewal. And it just pointed me to Apple’s information page on how to unsubscribe. The app is designed to fraudulently renew subscription without the consent of the user and then provide no option to cancel the auto renewal. I had to find the phone number for the helpdesk and then call them to cancel the auto renewal.

Every time I watch shows with my Wi-Fi it works but once I’m out and I try to watch it tells me I need to be connected to the Wi-Fi here and then I deleted it up trying to refresh it and now it’s not letting me and I paid a whole year for it so annoying and there is no way to contact anybody no customer service

Can not cancel my subscription

I purchased one month subscription for zee5 ,after one month when I try to cancel my subscription it does not give me any option to cancel it . I took this subscription with my gmail I’d in my iPhone but that’s not my Apple ID , but ever time I tried to cancel it it goes to my Apple ID subscription, how silly this is , and I have to write the help center couple of times in Order to cancel my subscription. That is not professional at all . We would not expect this from this famous app developer company .

Horrible app

So many bugs and UI problems and you have the audacity to charge your users,

1. No watch history is retained, you start a movie stop watching midway, one has to fast forward to that point every time to resume watching.
2. Cant login on my phone, takes a million clicks on the proceed button with a million otp emails until the screen changes to the point where I can enter my OTP
3. Cant watch anything on my phone, each time I try to play something it shows me tap to retry or more options
4. Even if I get something to play once, about 5mins later it stops again on my phone
5. While playing movies on my TV a lot of the times theres a huge lag which does not get fixed until I restart the movie atleast 3/4 times

Are the developers even making an effort ? I wouldnt hire any, your content, media and marketing team are awesome but you should really find a better tech team.

Frustrated with the app in google chromecast

I am able to watch only one episode of any series that I open in the app. The second episodes do not play. I tried on multiple different series. I closed / exited and rebooted chrome cast without any luck. One of the series I was able to cast from my phone to the tv and it worked. Now, anything that I cast is working but with horrible resolution completely pixelated and unable to see anyone face on the screen. The most frustrating app for me and I wish I had not paid for this service.

THIS APP IS A SCAM. DO NOT GET IT!!!

I wanted to watch an old childhood show again. I was already suspicious of this app but I trusted it because well I grew up watching Zee Tv. But I was dumb to log out seconds after I made the account just to realize they never ask for a password instead they ask for a OTP from your email that they never ever send, so now I have a monthly subscription that I cannot even cancel! AND I JUST MADE THE ACCOUNT. luckily I was smart enough to use a card that I could discard. BUT DO NOT GET THIS APP. It a scam AND I NEVER EVER WRITE REVIEWS. i am so mad because it the first time I EVER EXPERIENCED A REAL SCAM.

Absolutely wonderful

This app is amazing…you find everything you look for even from years back but the problem is that the app comes with no subtitles and it’s a bit hard to follow when they talk …if the app gets the subtitles that would be 100% even more better ….

It’s a surprise how this app was accepted in the App Store

The airplay feature doesn’t work, video keeps loading for a long time even though other apps work fine on the same 100mbps network.

It’s quite incredible that a company like Zee can build such a bad app that is clearly not user friendly. It’s not only user friendly it’s probably created by the team that hates their users. Paying $9.99 per month but the experience is that of a free buggy apps built by amateur developers.
