So far I do like the app &/the features, but it crashes on iPad, and plays two videos at once (bad).
I was using it yesterday or trying to use it anyway, but it kept on crashing, so I would have to keep restarting it on the iPad after seven or eight times doing this, I switched over to my iPhone, it did not crash on my iPhone thankfully and my iPhone is older than my iPad, but sometimes the phone screen can be a little harder to watch videos on, I wish I could use my iPad, so that while I’m swinging out in the backyard I can look over at the iPad and easily watch the videos, hopefully they get this fixed, I saw another person note that the app kept crashing but they didn’t say if they were using the pad or the phone. And which models, I was using iPad version 5th gen, no other apps crash on it, and at the time of the crash I was using iOS 14.4 which is up-to-date.
Two problems, that need to be fixed
1. App crashes on iPad
2. Quite a few times after watching one video and trying to start another it will keep the volume playing from the other video so you have two videos playing at once which is impossible to concentrate and shouldn’t happen.

Watch app is convenient but has a bad bug
This watch app is so useful, compared to the phone app, as you don’t have to put the phone somewhere visible, or walk over ever time you need to see the screen. However, the watch app needs to be smarter with its Workout integration. Once the sensor is disconnected, it should stop the workout session. I forgot to do this, and not only did it record an unrealistic workout in Activities (14hrs and massive calories), but it also drains the battery. Typically, I will have a full charge before I go to bed and wake up with 90% charge. Today, I woke up with 36%. It would be nice to stop the workout and whatever else it’s doing when the app is active, but not actually monitoring anything.

THIS APP IS AWESOME
I used this first in 2014. Then this year, I decided to change my swing, and it’s been an unbelievable asset to my practice. I had to change one of the preset goals; because of a shortened backswing; but that was pretty simple. I’ve accumulated nearly 400 swings in just three days. With this, you can try different moves and immediately see whether they have an overall positive or negative effect.
I think the company was bought out and that they only deal in watch-type devices. That’s sad; they are more costly and not everyone wants the cumbersome annoyance of a watch.
I believe most Zepp sensors work with golf. I recently had to replace my original and bought the tennis sensor.

best of the reasonably priced swing trainers, and the only reason I submitted a 4 star instead of a 5 is that the app is not as intuitive as I would like. The app is, though, much more definitive than I expected, you just have to learn how to find what you are looking for and I don’t know how to address that with the creators. They really did a very good job of a Tums-sized sensor and a phone app recording and presenting the data in different visuals, graphs and graphics.
I can’t speak to the comparison of Zepp to a high dollar swing analyzer, but for a mid teen handicapper like me, it is likely all I’ll ever need.

Excelent little tool
The sensor is at least very consistent, although I did read somewhere that when compared to a professional swing analyzer the readings are a little bit off, but in my opinion this is not a deal breaker. The key here is consistent readings. Once you identify your trouble areas the consistent readings do help to keep track of your progress. The app is very good, but I do have to report some instances in course mode when the sensor just lost link with the app and I couldn't solve it on the course. Data up to that point was not lost but no new data was recorded. I truly recommend this nifty tool.

First of all, I’ve been using it a lot since downloading it and I absolutely love it! Thank you for making this app! It has all major features I needed. The video editing and effects are really cool!
However, please prioritize the following in your future development:
1. Give user the ability to hide or change user id since user id currently is taken from email and everyone can see it on your profile.
2. Give user option to change visibility of posts in feed, eg. visible to myself, visible to friends only, etc.
3. There’s a bug in tutorial video play, after I played a video course, it sometimes plays the video again on the background with voice only, I have no way to turn it off, if I start watching another video, the voice will still be there.
4. Give user ability to delete, some checkins are accidental.

Issues with Zepp 1 sensor
This review is based on the current software update..... I haven’t used my Zepp in a while. Until this past week I never had an issue with the sensor. Unfortunately, after the update my sensor is not responding to my swings. My sensor connects via Bluetooth just fine, therefore it is not an issue with connection. When I attempt a swing it does not register. I have conducted a full reset to no avail.
I have an Apple Watch and everything registers just fine on the app, however I feel the hand speed is registering very low. My normal hand speed is 22-26; but on my watch it is 8-12 mph. Requesting help with this issue. Other than those two big issues I like the changes to the app.

Best when both 3D and video are used toge

There is a lot packed into this app. All the swing stats, swing plane views, synchronized with the video, and selected club, history of all your swings, comparison with pros and your friends in 3D, tutorials and more. I have small tripod mount that I use to hold the iPhone when capturing video. Work well and is simple.
I wish it could tell you the shaft lean at impact or how far the hands are ahead of the ball at impact. Seems like that data should be available.

Making simple adjustments
I have been told that I have a good swing, but my scores don’t always reflect the quality of my swing. That being said, the Zepp really helps me quickly analyze where to make changes. My plan is to take this to the driving range and test the results. I also love that I can get a golf lesson in real time, whether I am in my house during winter or at the course. In my opinion it is worth every penny. Thanks!

Great for Newbies
Great for the backyard golfer who can’t afford private lessons. This can get you pointed in the right direction. This goes over some much needed basics of helping someone who knows absolutely nothing about golf. Eventually you get to the point on helping your specific needs. Currently the Facebook option doesn’t work, but it would be nice to be able to post this into your feed so the Non Zepp users can see.
