Everything a loot shooter should be
I love this game. It has everything a good game needs. Easy controls, good loot system, level up. The grind not bad to level up. You watch adds when you want to watch adds. I give this game a 9.9 out of 10. Just one minor issue.... why do i have to start over everytime there is an update. I’ve had to start over 3 times already. The game did not use the apple’s game center to log in then the other day it started using it which is fine even better because it would save progress if my phone crashed or whatever. I go to play this morning, no more game center, therefor start over. Hopefully this gets fixed in next update. Other than that, this game is awesome.

fun game needs some changes
Ok this is an edit review I’m changing from 5 stars to 3 and I’m going to tell you why. First I still want to state the game is fun but it’s super Grindy you have to constantly be going at it. Now to concerns or features that is needed. First concern you go to change your name/nickname it says you have 2 free changes then you click on it after typing the name you want then it asks for gold that’s not free plus it doesn’t say how much gold. Second concern is as your armor and guns and gadgets are moving up i tiers and changed for better ones add in a feature to sell them to get gold or silver it’s away to help get rid of old items keep your character equipment down. Now features I was talking about selling old guns and armor maybe some type of store would be a great addition to the game allows us to sell the stuff we don’t want then in return we can buy stuff we need then upgrade and then forth be able to play the level better and enjoy it more. Just so people know I have been playing this game for about 5 days now maybe 8hrs totally into the game so not a whole lot but a fair amount for a game I’m still on the third section it’s so hard to progress through the section and you have to grind it loads of times to get box’s to get guns and armor to level up to progress so pretty hard core in my opinion. It’s still fun though I just think little tweaks like the store/trade/sell marketing would help.

Fun but also seems to be a scam
I LOVE this game and was a VIP subscriber for a while to support the developers. Unfortunately, for the last few weeks the game has been scamming players by offering rewards for watching videos but after watching the entire video you get the X to close the ad. It's then that all other games reward the player, but these guys give you a message saying “ad closed” and no rewards. You can't even finish the daily quests that require ad views because of this. I thought it was a bug but it has remained for just about a month with no fix despite multiple emails about it. If it is a bug they don't seem interested in fixing it, since it probably results in many more as views with new players like this.
The game takes the Archero formula and improves it in every way. The graphics and controls are better, the gameplay is deeper, it's just better all around, except that you get screwed when watching their ads and trying to double rewards with ads.
Fix this and I'm sure a lot of reviews become 5*

Game crashed
I was really enjoying this game for all of the 2 hrs or so that I was playing initially. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to purchase the battle pass. Immediately after purchasing the battle pass the game crashes. I think, no problem I’ll just exit and come back in. No, this does nothing to resolve the issue. I was still unable to choose any options within the game. I attempted to close and open the game 4 more times with the same issue. I then decided to delete the game and reinstall thinking I would be able to restore purchases or even sync my original game to restore my progress, but neither of these is an option for the game. All progress and purchases were lost and I’m out 9.99$. Don’t get me wrong, this is a phenomenal game and done very well. The draw backs that I noticed immediately however was the fact that I crashed frequently upon returning to the main menu after a mission or after opening boxes, but it never crashed to the degree that I mentioned previously until after making an in game purchase. I would like to be refunded the 9.99$ I spent, as I never got to do anything with it after making the transaction.

Pay or Grind Forever
There’s so many issues I have with this game. Grinding game after game for a chance at a minuscule upgrade is not fun. The best heroes are behind huge pay walls, and the decent perks to help you win are swimming among worthless ones. (Trap damage reduced and all boomerangs, bullet velocity, among many others).
The ultimate item is almost useless since the cool down doesn’t progress during boss fights, which are huge. A perk reduces the cool down which means you can use it every 5 floors instead of 6 or something. Quite absurd.
I’ve many other gripes, like how I can obliterate any heroic dungeon or previous dungeon, but one unlucky combination in the graveyard (current one) can obliterate my health, despite having 3 pieces of legendary armor in level thirties and a high level hero. Everything but one minion is legendary in late 20s or early 30s. And one early stage can wreck you. Always fun when energy replenishes once per ten minutes, and it takes five to play. Energy has always been an awful mechanic, this game wouldn’t be much easier with infinite energy. Except we could spam the gauntlet repeatedly.

Great game idea and executed pretty well, but has major problems.
The enemies are cool in design but many executed poorly. The main pain with enemies is a specific enemy type. The ones that shoot over obstacles, because you will never know how close the projectiles are until it hits you. Sometimes I walk under the projectile sometimes it hits me when I try to go under. No real way of finding out until it hits you which makes you feel like trash. Then some enemies look almost identical to one another, but are very different. One will lay down an aoe attack that lasts for ~4 seconds while the other just hits.
Then there are no ways to learn about enemies, or the elemental attacks, or about anything. Also some weapons don’t make sense. Like why would I use a slow shooting weapon when in they don’t hit much harder than the same level AR or the future tech weapons. Seems unpolished and not very user friendly.

Great game... But....
I would’ve given this game 5 stars because it’s awesome; but there’s a VERY annoying problem with the ads! You go to watch a 30 second ad for free coins/equipment and at the end of the ad you have to press the small “X” on the screen. But when you click on it, you get NO reward for watching it! Severely frustrating. I try again and again and on the third try, you get a reward. So there is either a bug in the system that needs to be fixed ASAP. Or the game developer has decided to trick people into watching more ads and giving us nothing in return. The more ads we watch the more money they make. A subtle, but dirty trick. You get confused and keep clicking on it wondering what’s going on. Or I could be wrong and it could be an honest mistake on their part. It’s a fun enough game that I’m still willing to play it. But I’ll be watching less ads which will make them less money. At least until it’s fixed.

Update broke this game ( updated )
Had a really good character going, then they patched the game, it reset all my progress, they claimed they fixed the problem via public posts, but it didn’t fix the problem, won’t respond to emails or posts on their Facebook page related to the problem.
Could have been fun, but poor Customer service and game breaking bugs ruin it.
Edit* after this review and several emails with the developers, I was given a small in game boost to make up for the loss. It was a pretty lame effort really, seeing as how I didn’t do anything to mess up my progress, once it was clear they couldn’t recover my account it seems like they would offer compensation that gets me back to where I was, rather than the small jump start they offered me to in their own words “ help me get back to where I was”. It’s my strong feeling they could have handled their mistake better, after all I was just asking for what I already earned to be given back.

In addition, I decided to email the developers, and they actually responded very quickly. They are currently working on a *NEW* update to correct the initial “November update”, which should return the saved data. That being said, I’m re-downloading the game, and will wait for the fix.
I definitely think it’s worth waiting for the fix and to be patient. Thanks to the Zombero team for the quick response!

Expensive for Quality and Too many Hacks
They are selling direct-cash buyable characters for $27, $19 EACH. They are already making profits by making players to watch ads (Players are forced to watch countless ads in order to buy characters that are buyable with gold (in-game currency), because each character costs 2500~5000 GOLD. Each character gives a permanent buff, so you don't have a choice to buy them for defeating later stages and arena.
Thus, there is an arena that real players compete each other for rewards by rank, but you can't really get into top ranks for heavier rewards, because there are too many hackers in this game. They say they ban those hackers, but new accounts with hacks come out again and again since the developers just can't block the hacks.
For the quality of the game, it requires each player to spend a bit too much cash, ridiculous amount of mindless grind, and watching hundreds of 30 seconds long ads daily.
Thus, there is an arena that real players compete each other for rewards by rank, but you can't really get into top ranks for heavier rewards, because there are too many hackers in this game. They say they ban those hackers, but new accounts with hacks come out again and again since the developers just can't block the hacks.
