fallafnir,

I’ve been playing A Dark Room since high school, all the way back in 2013. And you know, the one thing that stuck with me from that experience was your ability to create depth, story, and emotion out of just text and a few shades of black and white. I’m so glad I took the time to try and find the game again, and now I’m pleasantly surprised to find the sequel (as challenging as it is!) and this game. Like then, these works of yours have inspired me to look deeper at the core message that can be found in the most “mundane” things in life. And in that regard, I have found a vast amount of appreciation for what you and others like you do. Your work is not without appreciation. Thank you for inspiring us, both in simple art and design, but also in hope and love. Stay safe, and keep up the great work! We’ll always support you.
TanTan2NG,
A message of hope
I absolutely adore your games. I have been so frustrated by mobile games. They - like you have said before - cripple themselves so that they can earn more money. It has become the norm because popular games always succeed with this business model. Look at Angry Birds for instance. They even made an Angry Birds movie. Yet here we have a creator that makes entertaining and original games with interesting mechanics and rich but elusive stories and it gives me hope. It gives me hope that maybe someday this awful business model will be a thing of the past and creative artists will bring us more delightful games that not only pass the time but engage the brain and it's creative processes. Thank you for your care and dedication.
T DeLong,
Something the App Store needs more of...
Games like this one (and the others made by this developer) are few and far between in the world of mobile gaming. Games crafted by an artist, who is invested in making a unique and valuable experience. Games like this give me hope that the next generation of gamers (who overwhelmingly play more games on their phones than anywhere else) will be able to find unique and worthwhile experiences that may just leave them a little better than they were before, experiences that will makes them think new thoughts and ask new questions.

This is the one creator that I will go to the ends of the earth for
I LOVE all of the apps that this dev has put out. A dark room has been my metronome when I am panicking, ensign has been my thrill in jiffy lube waiting areas, and now we’ve got our new friend, the circle. I’m so excited to pay for the full price game because this dev has shown such an incredible passion for their work and has allowed us to use their apps for free or donations in the past. Keep it coming, your violin is unparalleled.

Don’t understand the title? You should play the game the find out. It’s very unique and I’ve played some of the creator’s games, like a dark room and the ensign (the last one is really challenging!). This game’s full version is definitely worth it! It has 2 modes, with normal being the most difficult! Great story, I love the sketches and the “conversation” we have with creator throughout it all. It honestly made me laugh. Sorry for the long read, but I believed it needed it. Hope this was great for a first review!
A Darker Room,
Your games are fantastic
I remember finding A Dark Room back in high school and honestly, I couldn’t put it down! Then I found out you created another game kind of similar. Once again I played it immediately until I beat it. Now for the third time I’m downloading one of your games and can’t wait to see what you’ve created. 10/10 keep up the good work!

Incredible game, incredible author. Yes, i said author, not developer. This guy truly tells a story in his work and it is absolutely incredible. Me and my middle school played a dark room so much, we all adored the adventure in an html text-based game, and i was one of the best having beat it multiple times — on mobile as well. Anyway, incredible job and i will be sure to buy the full version🤍

I loved A Dark Room and The Ensign. I’m glad I looked up Amir’s other games to find A Noble Circle (haven’t yet played). I will always circle back to Amir because of the accessibility message from the epilogue, or

A sign of Hope
You know, the message that this game has said is upsetting, but very very true. And I would like to see quality games, not half assed quick-way-to-make-a-buck games. Which is what you see 90% of the time.

COUGH EA...

Sorry had something in my throat, but I do really love all Ramir’s games and hope that his word gets spread through the gaming industry’s
Avisrockett,
A game about hope and shapes.
The minimalist art coupled with the simple, but beautiful and elegant music makes this game a pleasant experience. Their other work is really phenomenal and I look forward to playing more (and compensating the great work the team put into it too).
Please play this game. It’s really, really good.
