cuzitsthere,
enjoyable
Enjoyed the game. I've been playing several point 'n click games recently, for some reason, and this is probably the one from this dev that I liked the best. I got this a long time ago and never got around to it but now I wish I had done so sooner. Like the couple of other games I have from this dev, the map is only partly useful. It doesn't help much if you're trying to find the quickest way from point A to point B but it can help you remember in which scene you found something or where you need to got to finish something. Also, there is too much back and forth, like in their other games, but I didn't think it was as bad as in the other games of theirs that I've played. Puzzles were not too difficult, overall, but also mostly not stupidly easy, though there are usually one or two where it takes a little thought or time to know where to go or what to do. I checked out the hints after finishing because, when I went to write my review I saw some complaints about them. I agree, while not completely useless they seemed in many cases fairly useless--they could have been worded better to give a good hint without giving too much away. I also agree with some of the comments on the poor English--there are too many instances of that in the game. The combination of the map, hints and journal all inside the inventory chest is also more cumbersome than it should be.
Maryjomw,
I really rnjoyed this game.
I really enjoyed playing this game. I liked the music and graphics and there were no glitches that I found. When I first realized what the final puzzle, or ultimate puzzle was, I was surprised because I couldn’t think what else needed to be done, until I started finding more of the pieces. I was a little impatient and used the walk-through to help me get over a few hurdles, bit only read parts because I enjoyed figuring these puzzles out. This was fun for a person like me. Kudos to the developer. I want to see how much I can do on the next one before resorting to help.
CCChacon,
Lots of Fun
I really enjoyed this game. I didn't need any hints but it was appropriately challenging. In fact, I don't want a game so frustrating that I feel that I need hints, nor do I want a game so easy that I cruise through without them. Again, if you just stay persistently focused, you will see everything taking shape. There were times I didn't know what to do next, but then I revisited places I'd been and realized I overlooked something. Thankfully, you don't just find an item and apply it somewhere. There are many instances you are holding onto something for quite a while before you realize where it applies. The standalone puzzles were great. I didn't feel they were too out in space, as I've seen in some similar games where you're thinking "are you serious? How would I have ever understood that's what they wanted me to do?" That mental moment never occurred for me in this game. After I'd solved a puzzle, I felt confident the game gave me enough clues to think that through and solve it. Not simply, of course... there was thought there, but it was fun and satisfying and I wish it were longer because I was having a great time. The graphics were lovely and I felt happy inside of this world. 5 stars for fun, cleverness, and beauty.

Not worth the $1.99
This is a game that I feel was a waste of my $1.99. The graphics were pretty good but that’s about as good as it gets. They give you hints, which you pretty much have to use to know what to do, and even then you have to find a walk-through because the clues are vague or confusing. If you use clues and the walk-through, basically cheat, the whole game can be completed in 2-3 hours, and I did that, WHILE wrangling my toddler. Also if you miss a step or a clue, then the hints can be useless. There is tons of running around back and forth and if you miss a clue, you could miss “discovering” areas of the map and not be able to use the clue the game provides. The in game map is also an unorganized jumble of discovered places. Even with the walk-through I continuously got lost trying to find what I was looking for and wasting time running around. There was also minimal story line. I feel like since I paid for the game I should keep it, but since it is already beaten and would have been very frustrating without cheating, I don’t necessarily want to keep it. I am a HUGE Alice in Wonderland fan and was looking for a cool game. This game was NOT the cool game I was looking for, and I wish I could just get my money back. 😒😡😩
Gimmelston,
Frabjous Fun!
I really wish I could live in this world. The graphics are beautiful, and the game is long with the perfect difficulty. I was challenged and satisfied but never frustrated, and I didn’t have to use any hints. The solutions all make logical sense, so you’ll never need to try to use every item on every object like you do in some other games. And there’s no pixel hunting, either. It’s not quite as zany and offbeat as you might expect from an Alice game, and you don’t actually get to interact with the famous Wonderland characters, but there are many fun references to the books. It’s a relaxing, enjoyable way to spend a few hours in another world!
Dsparse,
Overall a good game
Overall I found the game entertaining and worth playing. However, the puzzles were a bit underwhelming for me. Maybe I have played too many of this genre but I found the puzzles too simplistic, obvious. Not sure why people would even need to use the hint function.

I’m assuming the developer does not speak English natively. The grammatical mistakes were the most off putting for me. Descriptions like, “it’s a bricks wall” ruins the flow of the game. I would suggest having someone review the dialog and fix the errors if possible.

Pleasant Game
The graphics, sound effects and music are well done. I didn’t need to know any Alice lore to move thru this game. I assumed I had to solve each map area in alpha order to proceed - not true - the maps seemed the most useful when consulting a hint.

The puzzles were reasonable and when items had to be gathered they made sense within the story line. I’ve played games where I just used hints to finish a torturous ending. This one was reasonable and flowed to the conclusion.

I will be moving on to A2. Thanks for a nice gaming experience.
Tyrone McTrump,
Not Bad.
I play a lot of these point & click types of games. The Media City games aren’t anywhere near the best by any means, in fact this is only one actually worth buying IMO.

This didn't have me wracking my brain much but the puzzles were good enough to keep me interested. I used the hints once at the very end where I was genuinely stuck, but otherwise played through the whole game in around 2 1/2 hours.
ally555,
Absolutely lovely!
I really enjoyed this point and click adventure. The scenery was beautiful..lots of fun exploring. There is no quick transport, which some might not like. But I prefer to take my time and move around the world....the realistic scenes blended with fantasy gives a much more immersive experience. Not a very long game...I finished it in less than 2 hours with a couple of breaks. Even still, well worth the $2!
LessaFirestorm,
Eh.
Game is good for goofing off and the story idea is good. That's where the good review review ends. You have to use the hints too much, and when you do, they aren't even clear. The "hints" don't even help you all the time. FYI, you have to take the lever out of the rock in front of Jabberwock's cave and use it on the stone door inside the cave. It took me almost an hour to figure that out (and lots of frustration). Spelling is bad and some of the sentences don't make sense. But, I stuck through it, wanting to know the end, and.......TOTAL LET DOWN! I mean, what a waste!
So, I give it 2 stars because it was free to play and killed an afternoon.
