Ok, so we’re not shredded (yet), but we did it! Oh man, it was more fun than I had thought, and when we were “off,” I missed working out. So next week we may either start again from the beginning or switch to the program for the lower body/upper body.
For those of you who are out of shape as we were, here’s what we learnt: just do it!!! You’ll be huffing’ and puffin’ in the beginning, but it’ll get easier - and more fun! After a week I could lift my legs, do the plank and do push ups!!!! Heyyy!!!😁
We’re going to incorporate hand weights in our off days and just keep at it. Yup, we lost some weight, and we can start seeing the difference in our bodies, it’s tighter and I can pull in my stomach ... yo, we weren’t THAT badly out of shape, but we knew we needed to do something.
A little tip for Alex: when you go from bicycles to plank, for example (that is from lying on your back to then being on your hands), give us time to turn around!!!!! Just calculate a few seconds more so that we sweaty, struggling soldiers get into the proper position before you do the next exercise.
That’d be great.
Other than that: good job, it’s challenging but doable, even for weaklings like us!
