Macro Area Improvements
The first thing we improved was the macro calculator algorithm. We made this change to improve the accuracy of your initial macro setup, which will also assist with future check-ins. Second, you'll notice a new visual display of your macros, especially if you are carb cycling. Your high, low, and standard day totals as well as total calories will be displayed right in front of you!

All History Calendar
We now offer two calendar views. One is your current program view, which provides detailed information about your existing program. The other is an all-history view that allows you to explore your complete workout history, including all the programs you've ever participated in. Please note that this feature will not be retroactive, as the data prior to this point was not stored. However, if you switch programs from now on, you'll be able to view the program you were previously enrolled in.

Past Program Day Recognition
If you've ever wished to restart an old program on the day you left off, you no longer need to contact support to do so. You can now accomplish this directly in the app.

Workout Time Recognition
We value your time. The app now recognizes the time domain in which you save your workouts. This implies that when you scroll back to view a specific workout in your history, it will be displayed in the corresponding time domain.

Shadow_Jedi_,
It’s Great but…
App and workouts are great but tweaks are definitely needed on the app. The time for the workout resets to 90 each time the app is opened. I usually do 60 min and forget to change it all the time. I didn’t close the app but had to go into another app and when I switched back it reset all my progress on the days workout I had entered. It should auto save, I shouldn’t have to hit the save button at the top right every time to be safe. The number keypad should only appear and not the full keyboard when entering weight and reps. I also think the rest timer should either appear on the workout group you’re doing or if you’re on set 1 go to rest timer the next screen should go back to set 2. I have gone back once and my progress was gone. For the price we pay, I definitely think the app should be improved upon. Also - when is dark mode coming??

Thanks - keep up the great work!

Needs improvement
The attached videos don’t always stream properly despite being on a WiFi network. The max lift page can’t be edited from what has been previously entered so if you don’t know your max for a particular lift until after you’ve tested it, you have to re-enter all your lifts again under a new date. That’s a pain. Depending upon what program you’re signed up for, you don’t know how the meso-cycle will play out because programming only reveals itself a week or so in advance. You won’t know what you’re doing 4 weeks out or when the de-load is programmed. I don’t have Facebook so there is no community support outside of Facebook.

On the programming front, the Power program starts out with testing max on specific lifts throughout the first week. Yet on the first day of programming they have a bicep and triceps superset programmed to failure. That’s just poor programming. If you’re testing various lifts throughout the first week on compound lifts it does not make sense to program this in that week. I’m in my mid 40s and I couldn’t recover by biceps and triceps sufficiently for when I had to test max reps pull ups or 1 rep max on the inclined bench later in the first week. Very disappointing for a $90 monthly subscription.
natebro81,
Amazing!!
I've been using Fitness Culture for like 3 or 4 years, and I've loved it! I've been on the Power Program the majority of the time. The programming has increased my 3 lift total by like 200 lbs, and helped me stay well conditioned for playing hockey! I really love the micro- and macro- cycling of the programming. It keeps things interesting but still stays focused on the goal of increasing strength. I had been lifting for awhile before I started Fitness Culture, but my wife was quite new to lifting when she started the Lean Program. The coaching descriptions and videos were perfect to help her get started and really enjoy lifting! I thought it was a little overpriced at first, especially since there are so many free programs out there; however, after using it for years it is easily worth every penny! I would strongly recommend it to anyone!
SusejS,
Have been a member for 2 years now
Honestly, this app has been a life saver. From the different programs they offer, all the way to the customer service. No complaints what so ever. Before I started using the app I didn’t know what I was doing, I had also tried other workout programs other than fitness culture, this one has been the best one I’ve been a part of so far. Also to top it off, the amount of support from the fit cult community in the Facebook group is amazing. Love every minute of it, makes working out easy as they give you your workouts a week in advance, also you can switch between programs through the app very easily. If you pay premium, you get the workouts, mobility training, and nutrition plans. I highly recommend signing up.
YaHerd94,
Great fitness app and program!
The app itself has come a long way! The most recent update took the whole program to a new level! It fixed some video playing issues and added an overall more aesthetically pleasing view. The workouts flow with detailed explanations, tutorial videos and a note section to track your workouts. The premium version also allows you to calculate macros and gives you diet options.

Joining fitness culture also puts you in a community of like minded fitness junkies from all over the world. Experienced trainers including Steve Cook and Jake Hutton constantly interact with members answering questions and giving feedback on form.

I’ve seen amazing results that I’ve been able to maintain year round. I highly recommend fitness culture!
Cody Kennon,
Best Program Ever!!
I’ve been using Fitness Culture for years and I’m going to keep using it. I started with the Athlete Program for 3 years and now I’m on the Swole Program. I’ve seen my body go from decent to great. I’m not just talking looks either. I feel great! The conditioning and workouts that are implemented leave me wanting more and feeling great! I like being athletic and having a great physique. The workouts from the app have highly helped me achieve that. I highly, highly recommend this for everyone. The overall design of the app is incredible too. You can program it do a 30, 60 or 90 minute workout. Steve and the crew have done a fantastic job. Again, I highly recommend the app. Stop reading this and go get your fitness culture journey started now!

Top Fitness app Out to Date !
I never thought I would be the one to follow a program but I did ! This app gives me no technical issues and is easy to use. All the sets and reps are displayed perfectly with video instructions on how to perform that exercise perfectly and alternate ways you can hit that body part of your gym doesn’t have that equipment ! I always know what’s coming the following week since I can look ahead of other workout days ! I’ve been on the swole program till now I’m on the 20for 20. This app has programs for anyone from CrossFit, staying shredded , becoming SWOLE , to powerlifting , athletic training , and etc ! The trust I have in Steve, Jake , and everyone else helping out with the programs and apps behind close doors to keep me up to date and continue to fulfill my goals is untouched !
THD18,
Each workout pushes you
I’ve always been fairly consistent at the gym but it’s been years since I really pushed myself and struggled to find the motivation to. I’m currently doing the Swole Program and I have been sore everyday since I started. It’s nice to know I’m pushing myself.

Only update I would like to see is having a column for the previous weights you used from the last workout. Then have a column that you can enter in your new weights for the current workout. That way it’s easy to know where to start... Hopefully I’m not missing something and this is already available, I just started using the app.

This is an awesome workout program!
ZGRIES123,
Love the programming
Re the app: there are some quirks that are annoying at most. Not by any means disruptive - but a few examples 1) it can take a long time to save numbers (weight/reps) sometimes. Maybe 30-60 seconds. 2) you can’t see prior week percentages in the current weeks history button, you can only see weight and reps. That said,

I LOVE THIS PROGRAMMING. I have found it fun, challenging, producing great results, and I like that there are so many methods used during the cycles (GVT, slow descent, regular reps, 1 and 1/4 reps). It’s been amazing. I can’t wait to see where it will take me over the next few years. Just finished a full year on the SWOLE program.

This app and Fitness Culture are terrible. It’s actually a SCAM!!! Do Kino or Go to FITBOD
I couldn’t believe how terrible this app and the workout program is. They give you no instruction on technique or form and I hurt my back doing this one superset. Reasons to not download the app or give these roided out freaks your money:
1. I specifically asked for an at home dumbells only program. But as I went through the daily workouts I found that they needed you to buy more equipment like a bench or a jump rope. And they don’t recommend other workouts if you don’t have certain equipment.
2. they make you do the same muscle groups 2 days in a row. I’ve never had a trainer recommend working out like back or chest 2 days in a row. There is no time for muscle recovery. And people will get hurt and unnecessarily fatigued.
3. I sort of mentioned this before but the videos (away from the warmup videos) provide little to know instructions on form or safety. It’s a “good luck” attitude and I don’t feel helped at all. I’ve lifted for a while so I get some of these inherently, but for a newbie they would be absolutely screwed.

I’m not only rating the application but the Fitness Culture programs in general. Please consider Kino or Fitbod instead. Fitbod actually tracks your progress, rest times, and builds a program based on muscle recovery. Fitness culture is a SCAM!!!
