Short and sweet. A lot of up to date information. Sort of like an almanac. Good app.

Greentigertron,
Very Helpful When Reading News
As I read about international affairs, I can get a take on where these events are taking place without too much distraction.

Free internet tools are setup to distract users into advertising activity. With my Ipad atlas, I do a quick lookup and get back to my news scan.

Some inaccuracies. Burma is now Myanmar.
AncientThunder,
Not great
I really don’t like this after I bought it for several reasons. One reason is that there’s no way to search. For example say you want to search the population of a country. There’s a big long list and you have to go through each one to find the country for which you are looking. a search would make it so much easier. And the same goes for finding a country.

Also, I do not see a way to find world time and all these other things that are listed as features. I can find a few things but not all of them. Another thing that irritates me is that the mileage is in kilometers and there’s no way to change it to miles. Apparently the person who wrote this program feels that everybody uses kilometers and not miles. Since it does not have everything in it that I see listed as features I plan to request my money back.
MidDivision Teacher,
Great app
I’ve been highly impressed with this app (especially with its updates over the past month).
JaimeZ62,
Great app for the money
I like the app, it's worth the money; has more info than I thought it would. I would like a more robust atlas with more info for each region and country and more maps--would be willing to pay in the $20 to $40 range for such a product.
FrankJCote,
Just shows country by country
Not a world map! It just shows a listing of country names. Then it shows that country. But it doesn't show a world map.
FranciscoSaenz2,
Don’t waste your time writing reviews
Your feedback is being wiped and it’s a waste of your precious time. Go back and check a day later. All gone!
M naveed ali,
No ZOOMING (just like free version )
No zooming at all compared to free version
Ighos,
Assessment of Atlas
Very good reference material
Dani418,
Rudimentary, but ok for quick reference
I really like this atlas for its ease of use. I use it almost every day with students!

The physical map is missing major rivers, though.

I like that there are only the most major cities on the physical map.

Things I would like on atlas apps:

1. The ability to "lock" a map on place on the screen (via a button or something) so I can point to features or drag my finger along lines, boundaries, etc. without the map moving all over the place as a result of touching the screen.

2. The ability to look something up (boundaries, capitols/main cities, major physical features, etc.) and then have them glow/pulse on the map.

3. The ability to turn on/off the lat/long markers at any zoom and to have the pointer have a little flag with the current location as it scrolls over things.

4. The ability to chose the level of MSMA. This would help declutter maps/give appropriate amount of detail for user's purpose.

These four things would really make the maps more useful to a teacher or parent (or anyone, really, who's using the atlas as a proper reference tool. Otherwise, these apps are just eye candy.
Vyoung1945,
Needs work
Your atlas does no compare well to others. The world is an orb suspended in space, not a "flat earth" projection. You need to incorporate a global projection. You could stand more details on each country. While your database is okay, it can be improved dramatically. For the purposes of geography the maps need to be place in perspective on a globe with latitude and longitudinal lines.
