This is exactly what I was looking for! Needed it to perfect technique in Crossfit Olympic lifting. Every technical sport could use this valuable tool.

Good news: I tried and squeezed even more from the iPhone/iPad. Buffering video and playing it back requires a lot of RAM memory and CPU to work it. So it needs clever ways to make it happen, and even more to make it do more, like in this update :)
And no worries, the app still works only using RAM memory without touching your device flash storage drive (constant writing to the flash drive deteriorates it and should be avoided for apps like a video delay).
So some people asked for 60 frames for second and here it is. It works really well with slow motion.
And some people asked for longer delays so now you have more. Even up to 6 minutes.

Now you can change the slow motion speed by double tapping the slow motion button. Combine it with 60 fps and you can see a lot more with a x8 speed reduction.

+ Live View hidden for TV
When connected to a TV you can have live view opened on your device while still showing the delays on the TV. Useful when you need to move the device but want to see what is recorded.

The iPhones/iPad are getting more and more powerful so they can handle showing the delayed video both on the TV and also on the device. Previously, for performance reasons, when streaming to the TV the device wasn’t showing the delayed video.

Finally we found a way to add slow motion to BaM. Now you can turn on slow motion in any view independently. You can also pause and seek back and forth just as in the “Frame by Frame” mode. After that you can quickly get back to the original delay pressing the “Reset Button”.
+ More view modes
You had a single view and a 2x2 view. Now you can also have a 2 view mode, either set horizontally or vertically. Additionally you can quickly bring any view to fullscreen by double tapping it.
+ Suport fo the newest iOS and iPhone X

HUGE jump in usability!
UPDATE> Kudos to developer to listening to us. BAM has always been the best UI for video feedback, but was severely limited in team sport situations by 2 minute limit. Squeezing out the extra time, 4-6 minutes based on framerate and resolution desired, is a complete game-changer. I cannot thank you enough for making this important change. It will revolutionize my ability to create powerful scrimmage feedback situations. Easy-to-access slo-mo capability awesome, as well. Best tool in world for immediate video feedback!
ORIGINAL: BAM is a centerpiece in my Volleyball coaching - has been for several years now. BUT - is there some practical reason for the 2 minute max?? The app would be infinitely more useful for sports training, especially in scrimmage situations, with a 3-4-5 minute delay ability.

BAM IS AWESOME!
I coach Olympic diving. I recently converted from using an extremely expensive video delay platform to using BAM at the suggestion of a couple of my peers. BAM does everything I need except split screen compare. It would be nice if I would be able to record two videos and then put them side-by-side in the app. It would also be good to have better/more detailed user instructions. Other than that, I can’t think of anything else the software should do that it doesn’t already. I highly recommend it to anybody that needs to be able to do something, then watch it and/or record it to be played back on another app in the same phone or tablet. BAM keep up the good work!

Amazing
Set it and forget it! I use this application for springboard diving. I set a delay that allows divers to receive feedback after a dive and then they go to the connected tv to watch themselves. All without slowing practice down.
If the divers need a more detailed break down, rewinding viewing in slowmo, and resetting the original delay are all fast and easily done.

Newest update removed 480p recording on front camera. This broke the app for me as I use it in a limited space. Can you please bring it back in the next update?

Best Coaching App Ever!
It's hard to explain how important Bust A Move Video Delay has been for me as a coach.
1. The update to HD is amazing!
2. The update for saving the last 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes, is amazing!
This app is literally the cornerstone of how I teach beach volleyball. I set up an iPad at the back of the court, turn it on, and let it roll! The athletes can now self correct in real time, instead of recording and watching later after practice, and waiting 24-48 hours before making changes. I dont know why every player and coach doesn't have this app.

Great for Gymnastics
Easy to learn and setup.
Currently, my only complaint is that we can only go back 2 min. It would be nice if it was increased to at least 10 min so that we can go back and save an earlier turn.
The 4 screen option is also great. I'm able to give my athlete a correction and they can watch it up to 4 times in order to understand the correction.

Very useful and simple. With the multi window delays it just makes it so powerful. I wish for the ability to import a delay window to my video library would be great.

I took my team to the CA State Finals for the first time ever (in girls volleyball) in the 93 year school history and this was my secret weapon!
