Good app! Needs some improvements but works for me
I’m not sure why so many negative reviews but this app always works for me. One of the people helping me with the app said that if there are games ending or big games it can make it slower. That seems like something they should be able to take care of but not a deal breaker for me. Always able to place my bet as long as my wifi is completely off in my settings. Hopefully other people get the same great experience I did using it. I enjoy the in game betting as well

If I could give negative stars I would
This is absolutely the worst app I've ever used. It’s almost completely unusable between how often it logs you out randomly while actively trying to place bets, completely crashes and shuts down, or simply just will not place bets. I constantly get error messages about it not being able to acquire my location or that I'm using an unauthorized WiFi network. Using it with data vs. WiFi makes 0 difference, it’s still extremely difficult to actually get a bet through. It’s often almost impossible to place bets on live games as the app is so slow and full of error messages, if the money line changes, which it often does before you can ever get out of the loading screen, it restarts the whole process of trying to put it through so good luck. Also you can’t cash out from the app directly to your bank account which is just an added level of difficulty for no other reason than wanting you to keep your money tied up in the app as long as possible in hopes you’ll lose it betting instead of cashing out. You’d think such a large and profitable entity such as MGM could afford to have a better team looking at all of these issues but for as long as I’ve had the app, there’s never been one single update on it. Absolute garbage experience

Glitchy and terrible
I’m writing this review after getting 2 emails back from mgm not addressing my concerns and defending their app versus make things right with me. Wow this app is bad. Came to Vegas on 2nd weekend of March madness. Got the app to make bets on the fly and boy did I regret it. The app crashed on multiple occasions and I only used it for 3 days. When it came to placing bets I had it not put through bets 3 times and it would load a location thing that basically froze. Of course my l luck with them that all 3 bets were winners so wasn’t able to cash in on a few hundred dollars of sports bets since the app wouldn’t work. Regret it big time. And you’d think a huge casino and sportsbook like mgm would rectify but nope. AND I was told I’d get a matching $300 for my initial $300 deposit. Nope. And when emailed them asking for the $300 matching they sent back this: We currently do not offer any promotions, bonuses, or deposit matches on our BetMGM Nevada platform.
The lady who signed me up TOLD me once I contacted mgm they would do the match. Such deceptive practice. A negative 300 rating on this app would be better than 1 star.

Worst app in Vegas
I’ve had the Nevada app for the last three years. For the first two years, they really were the King of Sportsbooks! I loved the app. Worked great. But now… good lord they are now the most bottom tier sports betting app on the market. Ever since they took away live betting this app has been the worst sports betting experience I’ve ever had. The least amount of prop bets in all of Las Vegas. They will limit you as soon as you start winning, but will gladly take every dollar away from you when you lose. App is constantly crashing. As if this multibillion dollar company couldn’t afford to pay a little more for a better software engineer to make sure the app actually works correctly. Their new team logos look like something my 14 year old sister could make from Microsoft Office. They spend all their money on marketing just to put out a bottom tier app. I’ve been a loyal customer for 3 years, but now Caesars just absolutely crushes you guys in almost every aspect. Do better.

Has major issues retrieving location
I wanted to love this app because I like how easy the platform is to place bets, but I can’t give it more than 2 stars because it doesn’t really work. I have an iPhone 13 up to date in software and for whatever reason, the app has difficulties acquiring my location. Without it acquiring my location, I can’t place bets. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and I’ve only been able to place 3 tickets out of the 20 I’ve tried to place. It’s very frustrating knowing that if the ticket would’ve gone through, I would’ve won some money. But since it didn’t because of all the bugs and issues the app has, it’s getting a negative review in hopes that they fix all the bugs this app has.

The app is ok but the experience is horrible and its Simply because there is none. You can bet $500 on the app and get absolutely nothing for it while going to the casino you’ll at least get a smile from a female ticket writer and comps for a free beer or two
At the casino there’s no problem catching the in-game, while this thing on the daily has problems “acquiring your location “.

Do not download if you live outside Nevada
I would highly, HIGHLY recommend you are very careful before you download this app and use it to bet unless you live in Nevada or go there frequently.

It’s a complete rip off and scam so MGM can make money off of the interest they get by investing your money while you leave it in your account.

Buggy and exasperating
The app makes me log in every time I want to take an action. But doesn’t integrate with the password manager on my phone, making this a major pain. I’ve also had my password stop working multiple times. Most recently when it did, I tried to reset my password, and after manually entering a bunch of info, the button to Create New Password was unclickable. So no way to log in, no way to reset my password. Complete waste of time.

To many things to be fixed
Big corporate like MGM should have better developers and engineers for such app, doesn’t fit iPhone pro12 max, can’t place bet even after selecting a team placing the risk amount and place bet it loads and then is gone not bet was places SMH tried many times I reseted the app and did not help, I live in Las Vegas so location has no issue for that, I love William bill been doing it there for over 4 years, the only reason I wanted to switch to MGMBet is I have gambling card with them but man so many issues and glitches they really need to to step up the tech game and keep ahead or they will lose many and many customers.

i just dont understand at all how the VEGAS app is just completely bad in so many ways…. how is the regular mgm bet app way better than this one, no cashout in middle games, terrible app configuration it literally lags all the time idk how this 4.7 starts is even on there unless its fake bots, you literally have to restart the app because of glitches every time you open it. it doesn’t make sense to be a huge company like this and have these kind of developers work on this idk who it is but they need to be fired ASAP id literally rather go drive to the sportbook to place bets that use this app.
