Stevehetz13,
Data collection useless?
Well, the device seems to be taking pulse and oxygen levels ok. And it seems to connect fine to iPhone by Bluetooth ok. But date and time stamps are wrong. At first, I could manually adjust day and time in the app since date stamp showed 2019 (here in 2022). But most recent reading aren’t showing up with 2019 date stamps. It seems like it now has the right date and year but definitely not the right time. Don’t even know if times are consistently progressing with just an offset of x hrs & y min. So now I don’t know which entry needs to be adjusted. Have not found any info about how to set/change time in the device - it’s completely missing from product documentation and nothing on the web either. Frustrating because this should be so basic.

Incompetent, maybe a scam, hardware and software Imboth
I bought the BM 67 at CVS. What a disappointment. The first thing you’re supposed to do is enter the date and time, and yet, the first category which appears to be time is some unidentified number, “20 15” that scrolls up to 41 and then magically is at 11 (The 20 just remains in place ). Has anyone figured out what that is? What number that I should be setting as a range from 20 11 to 20 41? I can’t figure it out, but it sure isn’t what should happen when you’re following the instructions. Then I’m going through the rigmarole to launch this app, after reading the execrable terms of their service, and the machine is supposed to pair by displaying a six digit number on the BM 67. The number is not displayed. By the way, I’ve had my blood pressure checked hundreds of times, this machine is downright PAINFUL. Perhaps they want to discourage you from using it, figuring you won’t return it, if you just put it on the shelf and ignore it. If you read the other reviews here this company makes no response. They put out a borderline defective product. That’s why I suggest this could be a downright scam. CVS needs to source this equipment from some better company. And this company needs to be prosecuted for very shady business practices. I can’t imagine this is legal in Germany, or anywhere with a working court system.
brianbdsm,
It’s for advanced users but still not very helpful
It’s a decent app assuming you know medical lingo and symbols and it could use a lot of changes one being, what exactly is the purpose of the app? It’s simply storing data which apple stores anyway. Why not get your steps from the phone automatically, sleep/awake time automatically, a lot more automatically cuz the accuracy of newbies guessing the info isn’t going to be as accurate as a “general” determination based on phone use calls texts or unlocking the phone means your up and awake. Something simple as unlocking the phone so it is our duty to log in the app but without even having to think about it just using your phone first thing in the morning and last use of the phone logged meaning your “asleep” and when you open the app maybe have a notification saying “we logged you went to sleep and woke at these times based on your phone use/moment etc or whatever. Is this accurate? Yes or no and allow a slight edit to it and viola!!!! You have a solid dead accurate app!

Beurer - Profit Loss
As reflected in the other numerous reviews, the Beurer Health Coach app is very low quality. This reflects on the Beurer product line. The Beurer Oximeter seems to work well, however I don’t have a good way to verify it’s accuracy. My doctor’s meter only reads 99, so my doctor’s meter is in question. However this app is so bad, I no longer buy Beurer products. I purchased a competitor’s blood pressure machine based solely on the Bluetooth app. If you look at the app revision, you’ll see that Beurer just does not care about their customers. If you’re looking for a device paired with an excellent Bluetooth compatible app, look at Omron products instead of Buerer.

UPDATE: THERE IS A NEW APP THAT REPLACED THIS APP: BEURER “HEALTH MANAGER PRO”. Not the “HealthManager”, but rather the newer “PRO” version.

It’s a huge improvement!!! Thanks Beurer!
AnnRider,
Pairing your Bluetooth with the correct model.
The app lacks decent navigation, and other quirks but I finally figured it out through trial and error and reading the directions very carefully, several times in my case. The key for me was the pairing and you
must pair the model of the device as instructed in the manual with your phone Bluetooth after filling out the basic info and Voila! The scales will input your promised data into your app. Then it is full speed ahead, I hope. I also checked online for optimal BMI, BF, Muscle Mass, Bone, etc for my age, height, weight, etc., and compared my results from the scale. The app should be more user friendly, nonetheless.
Jesstew,
Horrible app. Good scale
I like the scale. Easy to use. Seems accurate. However, this app is awful. Firstly, it’s nowhere to be found on my iPhone. I have to search for it in the App Store and open it from there. Even Apple employees can’t explain it. Second, it has to be manually paired with the scale every time. Third, even though it says it’s paired, and the date is today’s date, it simply copies the last data. It doesn’t automatically pull the data off the scale, with which it claims to be paired and on which I am standing, looking at a readout that is two pounds lighter than the app has (because the app simply migrated the data from last week!). Lots of bugs. Buy the scale but don’t bother with this app.
ActingCurmudgeon,
Clunky at best
Features par with other weight management apps but not very good on execution. The screen is basically split in three sections
- data for last (or selected) weigh
- graphical trend chart
- raw data for chart (list form)

First issue
The data in the graphical chart section shows all dates/weighs; the list of raw data doesn’t show latest. Example: the trend chart shows all weighs through 4/18; the list chart only displays through 4/16. You can change the range of inclusive days desired (day, weeks, months). The graphical trend chart updates but the list chart does not. Weighs not displaying in list section is a problem in that you can’t update or delete one if it’s not displayed to select it.

Second issue:
Synchronization with phone is spotty; sometimes it updates phone, sometimes not. Even though the status message indicates “Connected”

Third issue
Has the option to add a value. When you add one and select save, that new listing doesn’t show in either listing on home screen.
jgg1956,
Gratuitous requests for reviews
I just purchased a Beurer P060 Pulse Oximeter tonight from CVS, just unboxed it, downloaded their Health Coach app, and as soon as I opened the app (for the very first time) it asks me to rate (Health Coach).

I rate this app zero (0). I’d rate it less just because of the gratuitous request to rate it. I’m not here to assuage the developers egos. I have obstructive sleep apnea and need an app that records overnight, records data at regular intervals, and builds trends so my physician and I can manage my condition.

From what I gather, a generic “health app” like Health Coach won’t do that. But how would I know? I just opened Health Coach for the first time and got ninja’d for a rating before being given the chance to start exploring the app.

I don’t know if their PulseOx will sync, much less how their app manages Bluetooth connections. I don’t know how accurate their PulseOx device data is, or what standards of accuracy the device is calibrated to. I don’t know if the app will let me export data in a universal format like .csv, among a myriad of other concerns.

So zero (0) rating.

Maybe I’ll amend this review as I evaluate the hardware and the app.
Tupelobound,
Really wanted to like the scale but…
I paid over $50 for this in CVS and apparently it was on sale down from $70. For that price, I expected everything to work seamlessly with this app. The first time I used it, everything seemed fine.

But after that it’s been drama. It just doesn’t always connect. It might connect to the scale for about 10 seconds where it shows the weight, but after that... none of the other information is importing into the app.

Sorry but for only $15... I could’ve got any old fashioned scale to show me just my weight.

It’s really not fair that you charge this much for something that doesn’t work. You need to update this app.

Please do so and I will upgrade my review.

Additionally, it seems there are numerous model numbers that can be synced up with this very app. It’s a good thing I held onto the box because when I had to re-sync it, there was no model number anywhere on the actual scale. That’s something else you might want to consider with your product. I really hope for an update.
iPampinho,
Great products, but terrible App
I love the Beurer Products (I have several of them) but the Apps are flaky at Best! The products are sleak and reliable and I mainly bought them because of the Bluetooth synchronization, but I find myself having to enter the data manually half of the time if not more often.
1) Synchronization is VERY unreliable.
2) When trying to export data (as a backup since you don’t know if the App will just die!) You CANNOT send the email... There is no SEND button anywhere... the same goes for feedback to send the logs... Trust me... I’ve looked!
3) When re-synch with Apple Health, it just hangs there, the data moves over, but you have to kill the App to regain control.
4) Impossible to disable Automatic Synch to have a way to kick it. It always remain in Automatic and doesn’t do much...
5) Impossible to reach support. It takes tou to a “Forbidden” page on their site.
6) BF70 scale works only with THIS App and not with Beurer HealthManager (ALSO Flaky but better than this one)...
7) No Fixes or Updates to this App since July 2017.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!
