Squishypie,
Very useful but be careful
So glad there’s finally another Blogger app and it really is great, do download it. I mostly use it for writing a draft post when away from the desktop so I don’t use all the features. But it’s exactly like writing from the desktop, everything is there.

For draft it’s great. Unfortunately sometimes it publishes a draft if I’m not paying attention which is hugely frustrating. It sometimes times out and I can’t save or copy/paste to salvage what I wrote. Or sometimes it takes a few tries to connect to my blog.

Overall though, the good outweighs the bad.

Great app for blogspot
This app has been handy so far. The blogspot website on mobile can be frustrating to use. This app fixed a lot of the problems I had with not being able to edit my whole post on mobile. I had read a lot of complaints, was cautious but since I couldn't deal with the website on mobile I took a chance on it and don't regret it. They seemed to have patched out the bad things I read in the reviews. It works smoothly. The features are enough for me to use this app solely. It has headers, subs, links, text editing, photo positioning, picture captions and everything you need to blog. My photos load to my blog just fine. No complaints so far.
LIL PILOT,
It’s great but…
I recently dove headfirst into my blogging again and forgot how much I love it. I don’t get anything out of it except knowing people read it. That’s beside the point though. I guess my reasoning for the review is simple I just wish that if I posted something via the desktop or even my laptop it would automatically transfer to the app and feed on here or give me said option. Sort of like when you hit “share” on the desktop and you can share it via multiple accounts this account never pops up. I wish they could make it so that was an option instead of having to go to my phone go under the account and share to my feed. Once you figure that out then this app will be 100% more user friendly.

Images
For the most part, I have been impressed with the convenience of publishing from this app on my phone. However, one of the glitches I have found to be quite frustrating is the inability to upload images. I understand the restrictions with attempting to upload images that are not my own. But it won’t even allow me to upload any of the photos that are my own. So I don’t understand what the issue is now. I’ve tried trouble-shooting it to no avail so far. But I’m still hopeful for a solution.
It would also be nice if the app included an added feature to manage pages on my blog as well.
Thanks for taking these requests into consideration. - 𝒢𝓇𝒶𝓉ℯ𝒻𝓊𝓁 𝒢𝓌ℯ𝓃

Crashes = Lost Blogs
I really appreciate having this app at my finger tips but it seems like it crashes or freezes up during my writing process. Sometimes it’s when I’m adding a picture, others it’s when I try to save and exit. When i reopen the app, all writing is gone. Which as a blogger, that is heartbreaking. I get in a ‘groove’ and it’s hard to get back into it after losing the last 3 paragraphs.

Having an automatic save in place would help. If the app would save changes automatically every minute or so, that would help this entire concern. Thanks.

Inferior app
I was hoping for a smooth and efficient way to post to my blog. App quality is NOTHING like what I published from my computer and what displays on mobile. Editing ability is simply text. There’s no access to pages, labels, links, or photos. Even just getting logged in is frustrating, with setup instructions blocking access every time. I spent a lot of time setting up and tweaking my blog. There’s no way I would ever encourage anyone to use the Blogg app to experience it. In fact, I will be steering people AWAY FROM Blogg because, by using it, they will miss so much of what I shared. No thanks.

And the ADS — OHEMGEE!!! Unprecedentedly repetitive and annoying. I don’t mind ad interruptions, but this is ridiculous.

Frustrating app, use your browser instead
I started a blog, got the app and was immediately disappointed by the constant ads and blog recommendations in my feed. I succumbed to the Pro upgrade to get rid of the ads, and regret the purchase. I found posting to be difficult and images never uploaded properly, on both my iPhone and iPad. When I use Blogger on Safari, everything works perfectly. I will be deleting this app and using my browser exclusively. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out glitch workarounds on this app and do not recommend it.
Cheeseywaffel,
Ok but Errors
Simple to use and I like the share feature. I bought this app because I wanted to be able to easily add photos to my posts, however, this is NOT working. I select a photo from my phones library and the app loads with a white circle but the image never shows up. I also had difficulty adding tags to my posts.
If these features were fixed/improved then I would definitely recommend, but at the moment it is not worth the money! Hoping there will be an update soon :)
Liannamae,
Was good- now meh
Originally when I downloaded it I was happy with it. I could have done without the weird community bulletin board thing. But now the ads are so intrusive that I lose my thoughts before I can even access the writing section of the app. It still works theoretically but I’m an emotional writer and need to be able to very quickly start writing when my thoughts and feelings are fresh- rather than after clicking through multiple times ads
alternaive,
Already bought app, now have to pay AGAIN?!
Bought this app a couple years ago because Google doesn’t have an official app for Bloggr, but noticed a post from last month was still showing as “draft”. Went to post today and couldn’t publish. Turns out the developer wants another $10 or $4 a month to publish posts!? That would be fine for a free app, not an already paid-for app. It’s just an app layer over Google’s API. The website is just a couple clicks away. It was fine, now it’s uninstalled.
