Best Cat Game on App Store
I adore this game. I've had it on my phone multiple times, (I lost the progress when my phone upgraded), and now have it permanently on my iPad. And I mean permanently. One of the greatest things about this game? It doesn't require wifi to play the basic game. Of course, multiplayer requires the use of wifi, but not having to worry about a connection makes it a great game for on the go. This game is very visually appealing and fun for any age. Although a more casual gameplay, it still intrigues me. This is probably the only app that has stayed on my devices the longest.
Now the reason why I gave it only four stars? That is all due to the fact that it can be a frustrating game at times. This is only due to the fact that it can be nearly impossible to bread every cat without great patience and having friends playing the game with you. Also, it is a little frustrating that cats who have a listed rarity, (such as common), don't actually show up often. But, these are only two big problems I had with the game. They aren't even big compared to how bad other games can be.
All in all, this game is worth getting.

Also, it is a little frustrating that cats who have a listed rarity, (such as common), don't actually show up often. But, these are only two big problems I had with the game. They aren't even big compared to how bad other games can be.
All in all, this game is worth getting.

Great game for Warriors fans and cat people in general!
Hey people! I'm guessing you came to the reviews to see if this is a game you'd enjoy. I personally find this game amazing!! I am a warriors fan so I like to rank the cats by level, so lvl 1-4 is a kit, 5-9 apprentice, and 10+ is warrior! Whichever cat gets to twenty first gets to be leader, ask for every 10 levels is a life, so at level 110 is their final life and they must quit their occupation of leader, and will not be used again, proceeding to become an elder, their deputy becoming leader. The new leader can also level up 90 times before their leadership expires, continuing the chain. A deputy must be atleast level 15 and has "trained" one apprentice. I just send out the two cats and the mentor attacks the enemy just enough to that the apprentice can have the last hit, or I pretend they catch the cat with the bread. As the apprentice levels up, they become a warrior, and the mentor can then either move onto a new apprentice or stay without one. I just pretend the bread you can make in the bakery is what they eat and I have a special cat assigned to making bread, and I also have a medicine cat who tends to the injured cats after battles. I pretend the cat food is herbs lol... Well, this game is very fun and it *obviously* sparks my creativity. I really recommend if you are a fan of warriors or just like cats in general. Although, there are some minor glitches and disadvantages, but I make my way around them.

Grinding for kittens
This game is, at its core, a very simple challenge: tap the screen precisely when a metronome passes through center and you will be rewarded with... Drawings of cute kittens! Capturing the early cats takes no more than a few dozen successful taps. But later on, when you want to capture one of the colorful or wild ones, it's a few hours of honest grinding (oh there are $hortcut$ too, but lets be honest: who wants to /buy/ drawings of kittens when you can /win/ them as prizes for your amazing tapping skills?). Is it worth it….? Folks, these are some really cute kittens!

Update, five years later: This is my favorite game ever for iPad!!! It is full of cute kittens of all different kinds, colorful backgrounds, cheerful music, and gameplay that is simple and relaxing. You don’t even have to watch any ads! I have been playing it on and off for years and finally got to the end and encountered nearly every cat! Thank you for keeping this game updated and playable! Best iPad game of all time!!! 💞💞💞😸😸😸

Decent game
(* = new point) *Before I start the review, do I recommend this game? Sure. It’s a free app and there’s no harm in trying it out. *So first off, it’s a little annoying that when you download the app it’s automatically set to Chinese. It’s not a big deal though, not everyone speaks English of course. This is fixable though. It’s easy to change the language and you only miss around 5 lines of dialogue. *Onto my next point. I have an iPhone 11 and the game screen doesn’t fit the screen of my phone. I imagine IPhone X users have the same problem. The words don’t fit on some of the buttons. And no, it’s not just to where the screen doesn’t fill completely. I have games on my phone that have small black borders but it’s not that noticeable. The boarder on the game is huge, it’s kinda annoying. *Next, the concept of the game is very similar to other games you could play. Examples being, pokèmon games and alpaca world. Now, of course they aren’t the exact same games. I’m just saying they have a similar concept. *Its also a little annoying that you have to pay for certain cat breeds. *Finally, this game isn’t bad, it’s just not for me. Maybe you guys will enjoy the game, especially if you’re around the age of 8. I used to somewhat like the game when I was younger. I do encourage you to download the game to see if you like it. You don’t have anything to lose by downloading it.

Hi y’all. I’m seeing SOO many reviews talking about the game language. The game does start in Chinese now. You can click the green buttons and then the three lines icon in the bottom right, click the tools and scroll down. IT SAYS ENGLISH IN ENGLISH FOR CHRISTS SAKE. And to some of you reviewers: your frustration is not an excuse to be ignorant towards other peoples and cultures. 😒

This game is still fun but it is very outdated. It works fine in all aspects except for some of the button text being misaligned, the ads play upside down, the aspect ratio is still set to an iPhone 4, and multiplayer does not work at all. There has not been an update in a long time so this is to be expected. Otherwise, the gameplay is fine, mechanics work smoothly, but there is a very rare app crash. I’m still having a lot of fun replaying this game. You can also restore a previous iCloud backup which is nice. I hope this game gets popular again so the developers feel motivated to make it more compatible to more recent iOS releases. Maybe some updated art as well.

I love this game and I will never delete it! It has different places to be in and sooooooo many types of cats! Also, this is great for warrior fans! For me the kits are: 1 to 3 warrior app: 4 to 10 med app: 4 to 12 warrior: 10+ Med: 12+ the leadership for me, is given to the cat with the most experience, each 10 levels the leader loses a life, also I believe the cats I fight are either rouges or battle training. The leader can either retire at level 110 or I believe their dead and sent to star clan. Now, the food is the food you use to heal your cats, or the food I cook in the oven so I pretend the oven is a prey pile, Lol. Now, you may be asking me how do I level up my med app when they don’t go out and hunt? Well, I pretend the med app took some cats to gather herbs. Anddddd I’m pretty sure that’s the t for my review! I LOVE this game and wished I could never stop playing it! I also recommend ever y one of you reading this review to start reading warrior books! If you don’t know, warrior books are about clan cats! There made by Erin Hunter along with other great books like Survivors! I may make another review if I. Issued anything in this review!

I loved the hell out of this game when it worked.
The game had an adorable charm to it. The concept was ridiculous, to begin with. Putting bread on the heads of cats to make them stronger? But it was well-executed. The story was cute, and the gameplay was so simple and yet so fun. I had a blast collecting the many cats available and battling tough bosses.
After several years, the quality took a shift. 2 years between one recent update and another, and then there was silence. You couldn’t even open the game without it crashing.
When I went to the game’s page again this morning, I was delighted to see that 5 months ago, the bug had been fixed! I was so excited to return to the game I hadn’t played in over a year because of said bug.
But when I opened up the game, it was in a bad state. First of all, the game’s language defaulted to Chinese, so it was tedious going into Settings and changing it back to English. But the game LOOKED awful. The graphics simply weren’t the right size for modern devices. They’re too small and not very well aligned anymore, so gameplay is difficult.
It’s not a complaint, though. This game is OVER SIX YEARS OLD, and in Bake450’s own words, it’s no longer supported. So I think it’s best to let go. The game may be dead, but the memories we’ve made with it live on.

What happened?!
I used to have this game and everything was nice and cheap and you could watch videos to win meowbux! Now when I got it again because I deleted it for some reason. Everything was super expensive!!!!!! Cats were super hard to find! Energy took forever to be refilled!! Ovens costed 60 meowbux when it used to be ten!!!! You can't watch videos for meowbux because it says not available!! Breading is now super hard!! And then game slowed a lot and I now I can't get three stars!!! Prices for things jacked up!! The exclusive cats take forever to pop up! Sometimes I want to throw my phone across the room!!!!!! I don't understand how you have to get every cat to continue Bread Kittens after defeating the black panther, I mean seriously, even the cats that you have to get by inviting friends! ALL CATS!!?? It's super hard to find and bread cats!! I wish it could be cheaper and easier! Even the controls go super fast and when it glitches it makes me to to brown and lose my golden streak!! What's up with that!! I used to live it of how cheap and easy it was but now as I said before "it makes me want to throw my phone across the room!!!" I lived the cute cats and I had expected more of this game. 😔

Very Flawed.
The chance of catching a kitten seems to be far lower or almost entirely non existent than what is shown. I tried catching a cat that had 24% chance of catching and it used up 22 bread. That's more like trying to catch a cat with 9% chance. I feel like the way the chance system is set up is largely flawed. That cat should've taken at least 5-6 bread if anything. Not my entire arsenal of bread. The chance shown of catching a cat seems to be way off and the chance system of actually catching a decent cat is about .1/100 it seems. Needs to be fixed. Also the "get meow bucks" or whatever it's called specifically does not work whatsoever. I've gone through multiple links and gotten zero not to mention I sent an email stating I got none and it said to respond by answering some questions yet provided no way to answer said questions. The links sponsored on the app also lead to some pretty strange places and contain viruses it seems. The websites sponsored should be checked before being sponsored or at least have someone check up every now and then on them to make sure they aren't tricking the users. In other words, it's a good game but some mechanics are flawed and the meowbucks system just doesn't work.

cant get into the game..
ive been looking at the reviews and i had high hopes since they were pretty good, and I love this app so much, but the thing is, when I tried to play the app today and see how the game was like now, i immediately crashed. no matter how many times I tried to tap on the app and not crash, nothing worked and it really bummed me out. i have no idea if its the device im on, or what type of device I’m using. please fix this, I really wanted to play this and now my expectations for it are ruined since im not able to play and just be greeted with immediate crashing. and plus, ive read others having this same problem as me as well! at least try to read your responses! but you know what, you developers basically abandoned this app that so many people loved, so i dont even expect a response. and plus, im a warriors fan and i was so excited! now pretty much all my hopes and excitement for this game are gone, knowing its gonna keep crashing no matter how many times i try to get it to not because this game has been abandoned now, no more updates, no more trying to make the game better for others.
