Some small improvements and bug fixes
2.1
2021-09-20
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Brush 2.1 is here and ready for the future, this version is built for watchOS 8 and is exceptionally great on devices with an always-on display.
You will notice larger titles to match with the new aesthetics of watchOS 8 and the counter will stay up to date and present you the correct time EVEN when your watch is facing away from you.

There’s also a new option to get a mouthwash timer that looks incredible right after you’ve brushed your teeth.

Finally, this version got some performance improvements and little design tweaks.

I hope you will enjoy this new version of Brush!

Hello!
I know it's been a while but this is just a quick update to play the default success sound at the end of a session again. I'm currently also working on a 2.1 release that will introduce an often requested feature that has to do with mouthwash.

Hope you'll keep enjoying using Brush!
2.0.2

I want to wish you all a happy 2021!
There's a lot of nice updates planned for Brush this year but it starts off with this small one:

- Small UI bug fixes
- Adding support for French (Merci! Louis Bosc - @BoscLouis)
2.0.1
2020-10-28
Thank you all for using Brush, in this small but exciting update I've added the following things:

- Added Chinese translations (Thank you so much for your help Sean Zhang)
- Added more complications to support the Apple Watch Series 3 as well, now you can use the small circular and small modular complications (shortcut to app only)
- Removed the setting of the completion sound as this introduced more bugs then it helped people.

Brush 2.0 is almost entirely re-written for better performance and to become more future-friendly. The app now entirely runs on SwiftUI and therefore only supports watchOS 7 and up. This is has been a decision made to make future development way faster and UI performance a lot higher.

This is new:
- New way better performant timer that can run smoothly on the background (even after switching apps)
- New complication support: a complication can be added to your watch face, which shows the running timer or a completion mark when completed.
- Best streak support: Now you can see your best streak yet in both the History view or in a complication
- Pause timer: Double-tap the timer to pause it or resume it.
- Improved UI: a lot of the UI is re-written for better performance
- Better completion screen: the completion screen is now dismiss-able with just a single tap

Hey all,

This is the first more significant update for Brush. First of all: Thank you for the lovely messages and reviews!

I've received some great feedback so here are some new functionalities:

- You can now turn on an autosave setting which will let Brush automatically save the session, and you don't have to press the save & finish button.
- Want to Brush longer (or shorter, not recommended) you can now change the duration of the session.
- A simple complication is added so you can have a quick shortcut to Brush right from your watch face. Richer complications are still on its way, but this is a start!

I hope you keep enjoying using Brush, and show your dentist how good you have been brushing it!

Stay healthy.

1.0.2
2020-05-12
Thanks all for the great feedback! Here's an update with the following improvements:

- A proper fix for the bug that would stop the counter when the screen turned off
- Haptic feedback with every 30 seconds so you'll know that you have to switch sides
- Dutch localization

For some devices, the timer stopped when the screen turned off, this build will fix that.

Kysaant,
Great experience!
I use this app (whenever I remember) and it definitely helps me to brush for the correct length of time. The mouthwash timer is great as well to help me do that. Only other thing that would be great would be some kind of reminder to floss as well. That’s something I always forget to do. Otherwise it’s great!
Barack Obama's Son,
Great app, minor flaws
I use this app regularly to time my tooth brushing and to input data into the Health app. In one case, I launched the app and the timer started going at 3x the normal speed, resulting in the session ending early and it giving me an incomplete session. The next time I went to brush my teeth it did the same thing, so I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Very good for the Apple Watch other than a few minor issues!
m2tthew,
Very helpful but wish there was a basic iPhone companion app!
Sometimes I’ll have my watch charging or off but my iPhone on me or near. Would be nice to use it on your phone as this is something I’ve stuck with for a while now! Great app if you like tracking little data like this.
Kparsons124,
One of those small apps that make a huge difference
Thought about buying a smart toothbrush even though I have a nice electric toothbrush already. This app is great because it allows me to keep my toothbrush but also track how often I brush my teeth.
MegAnn129,
Great
Simple to use, effective, I like the timers every 30 seconds to switch quadrants! Better than the timer built in on the watch. Hoping for a mouthwash timer coming soon!
Tangerine Beach Resort,
Great app
If I could set a custom time, it would be even better. This would be extremely helpful for people missing teeth.
AverageGuyHere,
Requires WatchOS 7.0 or later
My Series 2 Watch stops updating at WatchOS 6.3. I can not download 7.0. Developer provided quick response to my question - thank you.
ChrisSDreiling,
Clever little app
This app is super simple, but works as advertised. The haptic feedback is very useful, and the UI is clean and clear. Highly recommended!
dohspc,
Works Fine
Works fine times brushing.
TylerAbate,
Finally An Independent Watch App
I wish more developers would create apps only for the Apple Watch!
