New and improved app
Update July 5th— New app still HORRIBLE!!! Even with multiple updates and “bug” fixes the Sync still not working; my new classes assigned by my coach still locked. It is such a let down and like others have said the amount of money being paid out to have such a horrible app to track progress and get your informational classes on. Come on!!!! You should be able to do better these are very minor things and you all have screwed them all up even worse!!!!

This “new and improved app” is terrible!! There are only two things I like about it and that is: -the emoji for the energy levels -being able to reschedule and cancel appointments easier. The worst things about this app: -on the tracking summary pages the dates are not in consecutive order with today’s date at the top. Makes it very hard to look at the past tracking summary. -can not enter your complete weight I.e. pounds and ounces. You have to use whole numbers where as the old app allowed for ounces tracking. -the start up screen and notification screen do not dismiss when you dismiss them. They show up every time you open the app. -my old messages keep showing up now and they are from very beginning and keep showing up. Keeps duplicating the old messages. I was hoping for better and got worse!!! You didn’t research and test this app very well in my opinion!!

New App, same issues? New issues too…
Update: Seems like the only thing fixed so far is that I no longer get hit with the welcome screen every time I open the app. :(

The new app is more responsive and has better navigation, but I’m still unable to automatically sync, daily goals have no titles or context, and new issues have been introduced. It keeps asking me to update the medical teams on when I started a medication and the alert won’t go away after I answer. Curriculum loads a blank screen. Either it’s broken or they forgot to design a blank state. At first I thought the new graph feature was broken because the screen doesn’t refresh when you select 3 months vs 1 week, but the problem is the display… they expect you to know to scroll horizontally to see the whole thing which defeats the purpose of showing different timelines. (Hard to see trends when you have to scroll forever) When you’re entering daily information, the title is very small/light and it’s not obvious whether you’re on steps or weight. This is even more confusing when you realize it automatically jumps to the next daily input because it looks like you hit save and nothing happened. The new app is a good start, but it really needs user testing and a better heuristic evaluation. Compounding this with lack of transparency on my medical plan, I would not recommend this experience to anyone else right now.

The new app is a disaster - 1 1/2 months post launch
The new app continues to be a disaster. My opening page is still locked, it still doesn’t sync with my Apple Watch, I can’t access my classes, I can no longer email my coach, the scale on the weight graph is ridiculous (seriously starting at 0???! - I mean what adult weighs less than 100lbs?! and is on this program?), the tracking goals at the top is harder to follow despite its enormous size, and suddenly now I can’t track my red foods. I continue to get emails saying that a new update is available but each time I click on the link or go to the App Store, no update is available. It’s really frustrating as it’s affecting my engagement and learning.

While the old app was a little glitchy (it would freeze at times), it was easier to read, more intuitive, more customizable by my coach for my experience, and, most importantly, it worked. While I have found calibrate really helpful since I started in March my experience in the last month and a half since they rolled out the new app has completely fallen short of my expectations. I was on a roll with learning and making changes and that progress has been derailed as every interaction with the app is frustrating. I hope they figure this out soon.

Horrible App and company
The app is horrible and does not work correctly at all. I don’t even know where to begin. Just nothing works as it should, complete waste of time to try to go on there and track anything.
Extremely expensive program to only make your life worse. Not even to just waste your money without any benefit, but you are paying to literally make your life worse. And there is no getting out of it, they will not let you cancel at all, they have your money for a year and then will not deliver on anything they sold you and will not even pro-rate a refund. There is no phone number anywhere to contact anyone, you have to send messages through their joke of an app and then those messages just go in to a black void that they will never answer or even acknowledge.
All of this frustration and then seeing the amount of money you still just have to hand over to them every month is at the very least enough to make you want to eat to comfort yourself. Let alone something worse.
I hate I ever had anything to do with this company. It is the worst decision I have ever made that lasts a year of my life and takes tons of my hard earned money. And I wish they would actually be ashamed of what they have done, but of course not.

Buyer Beware - on so many levels
I was incredibly optimistic when I signed up for Calibrate. It seemed to be a well-thought-out program with outstanding support. My initial virtual doctor's appointment went well and my "equipment" arrived in a timely fashion. Shortly thereafter, the wheels started to come off quickly. The app was buggy, medication approval was a nightmare, but the worst of it was the customer service. Message after message went unaddressed and phone messages went unanswered. When I would finally receive a reply it was a brush-off that didn't even address the issue. Or it was an "assurance" that the message had been passed along to the appropriate person. Then crickets. Finally, after many pleas for help, a doctor reached out to me. She said their customer service was notoriously unhelpful but she would step in and see what the problem was. That was 6 weeks ago and I have heard crickets. I am fighting to get my program cancelled but they are still merrily taking my money even though I have told them to stop my payments. I will go to battle through the BBB but I am not hopeful. My advice? Stay away from this company. They are nothing short of fraudulent.

Waste of $1700
I signed up mid-June and immediately submitted labs. I was told a few days later the labs were received and shortly after my welcome package came in the mail. I was feeling excited and hopeful but still could not make an appointment (app error). After a week awaiting a response I was told on June 29 to give my availability and a doctor appt would be provided. I said I had open availability but have not heard back since then. I understand there is some sort of app-wide or company wide issue but it’s just not acceptable if you are charging so much money. They should cut off allowing people to join if they have too many customers and not enough employees to handle them. This may sound like a company complaint and not an app complaint but you can no longer contact them through the website, everything funnels through the app - even emails route back to the app. I hate to be the person to give a bad review because I know how important reviews are for a company but they need to know this is a serious issue.

Can’t Schedule Any Appointments or do Anything
The new app is not letting me schedule my 12 month doctor’s appointment. I’ve reached out to medical several times over the past 2 weeks and they told me they needed my lab work first. They have my lab work now, and the app still is not letting me schedule anything. Due to this, I am not receiving my medication. I’ve now reached out to technical support because I believe it is an issue with the app. Under Appointments it shows I need to schedule “Doctor Visit” but the “schedule” button is gray and will not do anything when the button is tapped. I’ve tried tapping several different places, but the “scheduling” feature is useless. Now that the website portal has been retired, the only way to access calibrate is on the app. But this app is not letting me do anything. To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. I purchased the “Master’s” program 2 weeks ago and have not been able to start anything because of this app. It’s a huge step backwards.

A Step Backwards
The “new and improved” app somehow is worse than the original, which is saying something. A few issues I’ve had so far:

- the modal that announces the new app and asks you to turn on notifications and sync Apple Health pops up EVERY time I open the app. Dismissing it does not stop it from reappearing.

- the pages with the program resources do not load for me. I can see the title of the page (e.g. “Medication Guides”), but the list of resources does not populate. It’s like that on every page.

- coaches are able to customize the order of your program, but the app only reflects the default order. This means that a class I previously completed shows up when I go to the Curriculum tab instead of the class I’m currently in.

- I got an email that my next class is available. The app is still showing it as locked, and the desktop site will stop working on 5/31, so I will not be able to take my next class.

- I have completed my goal every day, but I am missing checkmarks for previous days. - My Withings scale does not seem to be syncing with the app.

- Apple Health does not seem to be automatically syncing with the app.

- It seems my most recent Support chats that were awaiting a response were not synced.

Overall, the update *looks* nice, but functionally, it is an absolute disaster. I really hope the website app is not discontinued as they are saying.

Terrible, Zero accountability or support
I started this around a year ago. I signed up for what was offered yet all the accountability is expected from me, the customer who is admitting to and asking for help, even signing up to pay for the help yet my first coach couldn’t write a coherent sentence and I didn’t get medication until I threatened to leave the program due to lack of support and no medication selected which is why I signed up in the first place. I needed help, was paying someone and still wasn’t getting it. Well I finally was able to receive medication and that lasted 1 whole month and everything started over again. No medication and this time no response, no support and it’s actually worse. Any number you call they say send a message. I send a message and no one responds. Who’s holding them accountable?!?! Don’t do it, don’t sign up. You’ll only be more disappointed and out a lot of money

Nothing Works
“After months of testing and research the new calibrate app is here!” I don’t know who did this research and testing but they have no clue what they’re doing. The old app needed updates but at least it worked. This new app is atrocious. I can’t log my information, I can’t read messages from my support team, I can’t access the curriculum, my steps don’t sync, etc. Since the app launch I haven’t been able to get any benefit from the Calibrate system. I want a refund for the month+ of not receiving the services I paid for with Calibrate. Unfortunately, I can’t converse with anyone except through the app which doesn’t work. I’ve never left an app review before but this has been such a joke of a rollout that I felt compelled to warn others from joining calibrate until the app works. When your whole product offering is wrapped up into the functionality of an app, the app needs to function!
