Low Quality App and Coverage
It’s been nearly impossible to find mental health providers that accept our PPO plan. I’m on CapitalBlue because it is the only thing work offers now, but I was previously playing much less for much better coverage.
But for this app, it’s bad. It’s just a web view inside of a native app and the navigation is horrible.
Both in the website and in this app, searching for the care I need is pretty horrible.

Can’t Log In
Login page just shows “Safari can’t open the page because the network connection was lost”

Does everything I need. View claims, ID cards and HSA balance.

Garbage app, garbage website
Can never login. Get “System Errors” constantly. No way to contact support. Terrible.

Useless, poor design
This app is useless. If the point is to use this app instead of carrying an insurance card, then it needs to be designed so you can actually use the app. The insurance card is barely visible. There is no way to share the card with a healthcare provider. It keeps logging me out, so when I need to use it, it takes me at least three minutes to log back in and show my card to the healthcare provider. The password on my account somehow goes to a reset password page when I go to login. I use a password manager. I know I have the correct password, yet it still requires me to reset the password. When attempting to reset the password, it asks me for additional password security fields that did not exist when I signed up, so there’s no way to actually reset the password I did not forget. Don’t bother with this. It does not replace carrying a physical insurance card.

Needs security features
There seems fairly new, about a month old as of November 2020 so I decided not to be too harsh in review. The app seems to do basic things good. However, further features shall be prioritized -
1. No Face ID/ Touch ID to protect the account
2. Can’t add insurance card to Apple Wallet
3. I’m terrified to see that the password only allows characters and numbers. BUT DIDN’T ALLOW SPECIAL CHARACTERS. Why????

Could be improved
Overall the experience is average but I find that it’s just not optimized and takes way to long in order for different sections to load.

Bad app
Tried to login several times with no luck. Closed and opened app several times trying to login each time. Still no luck. Powered off iPhone, waited a few minutes, powered on, and still couldn’t login. App is useless!!!
Please fix it. Is the lack of support on this app an indication of how customer service is from the company?
The App Support link takes you to the Capital Blue Cross main screen. There are no options there for app support.

App Crashes
I keep trying to log in but as soon as you put your login information in and hit submit the app crashes. I have tried everything and no luck getting it to work. Looking back at old reviews and see much of the same. Surprised this hasn’t been fixed yet!

Keeps Crashing!
Once I log in the app loads but then immediately crashes. I can repeat closing the app or even restarting my phone but it just keeps crashing.
