This mainly is a bug fix release. I finally managed to nail the legendary toggle bug and the legendary frames frame bug. I would like to thank all the Awesome Users who reported these and provided me with details and even screen recordings — they really helped!
I also managed to squeeze in one quality-of-life thing: the default cards are a thing of the past, now. Goodbye, Fierce Warriors! Goodbye, Estotas! No more default cards published to the Community card pool!

Welcome to v2.2 update of Card Creator! This update is long overdue and maybe not as packed as I originally anticipated, but I still wanted to get it out for you to have fun with. I have more free time now, so next updates should be more frequent (in theory, at least) from now on.
What's new? Here is a list for you:
- Legen... wait for it! ..dary frames for creatures and spells - they're not the best quality yet, but it's the best I could make after scouring the Internet for a long time,
- default "Legendary" super type for Planeswalkers - should have been there as soon as they became such by default,
- energy symbol support - overlooked by me, but required by some of you,
- much improved font scaling on longer names - most texts should properly orientate themselves when longer,
- ability to clone cards - just swipe left on a card and select "clone",
- ability to see your own cards in Community tab - just sort by "Published" and you're set,
- ability to delete and rename folders - I know, I know ;-)
- managing Folders in the settings tab - you don't have to do that in card preview screen anymore ;-),
- quality of life improvements: better backspace button, subtle animations, changes in the UI,
- and a standard assortment of bug fixes, sprinkled with some optimizations.
I know some of you are waiting for improvements in Planeswalker card generation functionality, but WOTC have really thrown a wrench into my gears with the War of the Spark expansion. Full support for them is on my short list!
So... if you like the update and/or the app in general, would you please do me a solid and post a review? They really help make the app more visible and reach more people, meaning we can have more action in the community tab :-)

Welcome to the 2.0 version of the app! A lot has change since the last update. Most notably the app is optimized for iOS11+ and iPhone X, but there are some more features for nice people like yourself:
• ads - which probably annoyed you a lot - are toned down and should not get in your way,
• the app became more social thanks to the Community tab (check it out!),
• you can now share your cards with the Community and vote on cards made by others,
• there's a Glossary tab for when you absolutely positively need to remember that keyword,
• the app has been optimized and binary size is now smaller,
• and - as usually - lots of bugs were fixed.

I have finally (sic!) found the reason behind the hidden toolbar bug, so that's fixed now. Also, the app should not crash on startup anymore. Oh! And iPhone X is supported from now on, too :D

So... this is a rather large update for you card making fans! I would like to take a minute to thank all the Patrons, who helped fund this update with their contributions. Thank you!
Here's what's new:
• Planeswalkers - now you can create planeswalker cards. For now only the standard, 3-ability ones, but I'll do my best to support others, too.
• Folders - now you can organize your cards into folders, so you can have different sets, expansions etc.
• New UI - you don't have to pop to preview anymore and can see all changes while editing. Deleting cards is easier, too!
• Improved camera and photo selector - from now on you can snap and use pictures without leaving the app! Make some funny cards and share them with your friends!
• Two color frames - always wanted to have guild colored frames instead of the plain gold one? Well, now you can! (feature exclusive to Patrons at the moment).
• Less bugs and better optimization.
The development of the update took much longer than I originally anticipated. Some features (e.g. making lands/tokens) had to be rescheduled. The reason is simply lack of resources. As a remedy, from v1.4 on I'm including ads, to help fund development of future updates (for Patrons ads are hidden).

amazing! Just some TINY stuff
This app is great, for everyone needing to know it’s awesome
People already said what’s so good about it so I’m just gonna talk about the minor problems. For the community filters I think you could add filtering cards by color some people said by type but that’s too much. It would be cool to have enchantment creatures or artifacts creatures too, and it would be cool to see the vintage designs for cards. You can keep the patron price but I think non patrons should be able to publish 2 cards or have to wait less to publish cards. I know coding is hard so you don’t have to put all of these in one update or even all of them you can just put a few or one. But my main thing I want to happen is limiting time to publish another card or being able to publish two cards. Those are top tier.

A breath of fresh air
I’ve come to expect all mobile apps, especially the numerous garbage card making apps. But this is a breath of fresh air! No ads, a reactive developer that listens, the only paywall is cheap and it’s only for something not really needed (Plus since the dev is kind enough to have no ads they need that paywall, app development is a business and fees need to be paid). A really great app overall! My only complaints are some minor QOL changes and a big bug I’ve been dealing with for a while. The big bug is after being on the app for a while it starts to slow and lag, eventually becoming seriously slowed and then crashing. However I have noticed it’s not as severe as it used to be, so I assume they are working on it. The other complaints are just some quality of life things, mostly being modern abilities, the new card types such as sagas and adventure cards, and the ability to create your own card text abilities (Maybe a separate menu where you add them like within the glossary. It doesn’t need to be a public sharing thing but maybe later you can add the option to share) Overall an amazing app with amazing devs! If you are anyway interested in making MtG cards and you’re above the age of 19 to understand why some things are the way they are, then definitely download this app!

One of the best card creators ever!
I’ve been using this app for a while now and I love it! A really good way to make your own cards. I’ve been needing to update this review for a while now. I had an issue with uploading photos when trying to create cards. I figured out it had to do with the iPhone I was using. I had to make sure the photo I was using was completely uploaded into my photos. I did still have a few recommendations after all this time now.
I’d like to see is a better social aspect to it. It’d be nice to comment on people’s cards, view people’s profiles and seeing all their cards they’ve created. It’d also be nice to add keywords like “Landfall” or “Delve” in their appropriate font. Finally, I’d also like to see more patron options. Spending five dollars every three months just seems like too much for an app I only use every now and again. I really would like to support the creators though and something like a dollar a month would be more reasonable to someone like me.
P.S. I can’t figure out how to use legendary borders. Do I need to be a patron for that?

Hi guys! Welcome back to another review. Now you know how I am doing a thing of review’s on Pokémon Card makers? Yeah. This app is amazing for it. You can share it to a community of people too! And yes I know it isn’t meant for Pokémon. But what else if it made for? And also, I did four stars (the highest review in this series yet!). I did four stars because there are so little ads. And when I say so little, I mean almost none at all. Now I know some people won’t agree with me. They might say there is a lot of ads… but for me it isn’t. It isn’t like the last review… but anyway! Card Creator Review.
I honestly have no idea why there are so many bad reviews of this app. It’s actually a really solid card creating app. There’s not much wrong with it. I the interface is really easy to use, all the correct symbols are there, the community tab is fun, and saving stuff to your phone is easy. I’d only have just a few suggestions, not really complaints.
—First, yes, the community tab is sometimes strange, but that’s just going to be the way it is with any community-based sharing app.
—Second, I wish we had a fourth planeswalker ability slot, be it for a passive ability or a loyalty ability. Still solid though.
—The image editing for the card art is a little weird, as I had some trouble starting out, but once you figure out how to use it you’re fine.

No Ads Anywhere And Yet Is Still Being Improved Anyways!
I’ve been using this app off and on for over a year now (according to my oldest community uploads under the alias “Papa Broly”) and this is by far the best MTG card creator I’ve ever stumbled across. While the app in its current state isn’t perfect, this is essentially a long-term two-man project, as far as I am aware, and the app is being gradually yet noticeably improved with each passing month.
I find that this project is done professionally and cleanly enough that the patron support is worth it as-is. I feel that the art of making your own Magic cards is a reward in and of itself, and this is further enabled by the (mostly) free and (extremely) easy-to-understand features of the app.
Furthermore, I appreciate the total lack of ads anywhere on CardCreator, even though that may be a regional thing (I’m in the US). This small gesture alone tells me that the developers are decent people and deserve my support and the support of others that use the app as frequently as do I.

The app is more than worth it, free or with the subscription option (which only affects the community tab and some border/rarity options on card templates. Download immediately!

Great so far, one quick suggestion
Extremely modular and efficient app for card making I would never expect to find on the appstore, especially considering I’ve heard only two people are working on the app. This is actually my first review, to tell you how impressed I am. I do however, have one tiny thing I’d like to request of the developers of the app, and that is to be able to move your cards in the collection area. It would allow people to move their cards into new folders and reorganize them how they choose, something that would help I think a lot of people who just got a hold of the app in particular. Either way, can’t thank the creators enough for making such a good app!

Review with a suggestion
I’ve been using this app for a while now and I love it. The UI for editing is pretty good, but the only problem is when I want to select an image from my gallery. It’s only good for picking an image from recent in my gallery, but not for something I have from years ago. I would like to have an option to use a standard image picker so I can easily use the photo I want, no matter how old or buried in my gallery it is. I believe this was normally a thing on this app, but I’m not sure, it’s been a while. Overall, I love the app, but I would like a better image picker.

Loading Issue
I gave it 5 stars because it’s a really great app but a certain qualm I have is, and I don’t know if this is happening with other people, the app numerous times has not been loading up. Upon pressing the App’s button, it loads and then immediately crashes. Usually by constantly opening it, the app starts up but I have loaded the app 30 or more times now and each time it immediately crashes soon after. I’ve already restarted the phone to see if that would help but it did nothing. This is also why I’m writing this as a review because I can’t get into the app.

Images are way to difficult to select
I really like the concept behind this app. Everything is super easy to use except the images. If it was just having to scroll through photos, I could just get a screen grab of the image I want to use and use it. But the photos are not showing up on chronological order which means I have to scroll through all of my photos (I have a lot) to find the image o want to use. That is just unworkable. It also looks like this app hasn’t been updated in 2 years so it’s not likely going to get fixed. I would definitely become a patron to unlock the extras, but not when the basic functionality is thus broken. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this app at this time.
