aabidk,
Great alternative
I got curious to see if there were any alternatives to the twitch app because there wasn’t any ffz or btv support and also there wasn't any picture in picture support anymore. I love the layout of the full screen and the flow of chat in portrait mode as well. It is also nice to switch between different channel chats as well. I know this is still in development but it’s kind of annoying how I had to figure out a way for the twitch player to be signed into my account to see who i was subscribed to and stop the ads from playing. But regardless I will definitely be using this app rather than the twitch app! Great job!

Fantastic alternative for viewing Twitch chat
I've been a mobile frog ever since I satrted watching Twitch so I never been able to see FFZ, Bttv and 7tv emotes on my IPhone. Finally with Chatsen, I can see third party emotes 💿 on my IPhone and is a fantastic app, but with that being said there are a few issues that I have with the app. There are a few bugs that have been pretty annoying, one bug that happens from time to time is that the animated emotes begin to slow down when a chat is moving fast and to fix that bug, you need to fully close the app. Another bug that could be harmful is that every once in a while the chat can start flashing which could possibly cause someone to have a seizure. And a feature that I would like to see is to change the order of the chats that you added onto the app. For example if I added Zoil chat first and I stop watching him for a while, his chat will appear first thing I open the app and if you want to change the order you need to delete chats off the app so chats that you're more active in can appear first. Nevertheless this app is a really good way to view Twitch chat on mobile.

5 Star Potential
Love the overlay, love being able to change the theme color, love being able to hold emotes and get its name / larger view / and origin, love how easy it is to copy messages by quickly just holding the message or empty space, nice layout, and best privacy practices of any app in existence.
5 star+ potential but 1 big thing my phone is overheating scrolling through channel emote menu (iPhone 13 pro) and battery takes a hit. If you could just fix the overheating issue then 10 stars. Some ideas I had if maybe you could create a fps toggle for emotes (default, 60fps, 30fps, 15fps, 7fps) and more specifically it’s just the emote menu that mainly overheats my phone, usually just watching chat will be fine. So if you could just fix it without changing fps cool, would it be all app fps toggle or just emote menu fps toggle idk probably app wide toggle would be better because a super active chat may overheat also. There might be certain problematic emotes perhaps? But an fps toggle option should definitely fix the issue and people can just do what works for them and maybe save some battery in certain cases.

Beta to Release
I have thoroughly enjoyed using Chatsen Beta App and I am really excited for the official release on Apple App Store. No longer do I need to sit in twitch chat; see everyone else use exciting animated emoji’s while I just type out poggeers or nopers and blame it on the fact that I am using iPhone but I swear I know what it means 😂. Using the beta app was really enjoyable and I really didn’t come across a lot of issues during that time. So I am really hopeful for this release working just as good if not better. Thanks Chatsen; you have one WidePeepoHappy user for life.
DanceFalconDance,
Exactly what the big twitch communities could ask for
I’ve been using this app while it while in testing, and it’s absurd how well it is made. Our twitch community thrives off the memes and emotes we use constantly, and this app makes those visible. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an app to solely watch twitch and chat. A far fetched request I would have would be to integrate channel points in some fashion, but honestly I doubt there’s an API for it and I could live without it.
Bakedloa,
Great so far, only one minor issue
Great app so far! The only issue I saw is maybe a little easier way to sign into my twitch account? I was connected on the app it seemed but I was getting adds on a subbed channel and didn’t realize that I wasn’t actually signed in ON twitch through the app. I was able to figure it out though and now it works great!

3 stars for now
I give it 3 stars because the UI is just really bad. When using of the menu things it doesn’t let you back out unless you tilt your phone to change from landscape to portrait.

The streaming is cool but it just lacks a bit, I’m no coder or anything so I can’t say if it’s an easy fix, when looking at the viewers names I can’t even back out of it to view the chat unless again, I tilt the phone to change from portrait to landscape to portrait again to exit that out or fix the problem.

I wish there was more to this and I hope this gets fixed because I love the freedom it gives with the emotes and stuff, but there’s no navigation if you login it doesn’t give you a list on the streamers you follow, and it just lacks a UI clean up.

I’ll use this app from time to time but idk if I’ll continue to use it if none of these things get fixed.
msjahsheinebebebs,
This is great!
For degenerates like me, this is a great alternative for Chatterino! I move around a lot and would love to chat to others, but can’t be at my PC at all times. This is very well optimized, but is still working towards creating a better app. I can’t recommend this enough.
piggylover6,
This is beautiful
This has saved my mobile experience. I used to hate looking at chat on mobile and this has fixed it. The only thing i’d suggest is the ability to rearrange the order of the chats you have saved!
DeadWolfSA,
Great alternative to twitch mobile
I have been using Chatsen for a while back when it was on TestFlight. It is an amazing chat app with all of the third party inclusions. With support for watching stream as well makes it a very good alternative to the twitch mobile app. Please keep up the good work.
