Relaxing, Effective Sleep Aid
I don’t usually leave reviews on apps but this one really deserves it. I struggle with insomnia and it usually takes me 2-3 hours to fall asleep every night. This app is so relaxing, however, that playing it before bed makes me instantly tired. I cannot count how many times I’ve used this app to help me sleep, it really is a life saver. The soothing music, the changing color pallets, the simple mechanics of the game just put my mind at ease and calm my anxiety. Even if I’m anxious about something, this little game here takes my mind off of my worries the longer I play, until I’m relaxed enough to sleep.
I’m someone that usually can’t focus on anything when I’m anxious, but this game is so simple and fun that I am able to clear my thoughts and just reset.
Super thankful for this app, and it is a wonderful concept.

BEST GAME EVER
Chromatic is honestly one of the best games anyone’s ever made. I Love putting things in color order because I have color OCD and this game just let’s me relax and actually put things in color order. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, than do it now, I play it for at least an hour before I go to bed. When you first open the app there’s a new quote everyday about color from many different people like Picasso. When you proceed into the main game it plays super relaxing music and you can start playing right away. At the top you can choose your own game, because it gives you the options of easy, medium, hard, and expert and it lets you choose the color scheme off a list. Thank you so much for creating this game, it’s become my favorite game on my device.

Would be 5 stars if not for Glitch
I’ve been struggling with anxiety pretty bad lately and on late nights and even just moments of extreme stress this game has been my lifeline. It’s so easy and I find myself listening to the calming background music because it is very soothing. The game had been running smoothly UNTIL
maybe a week ago. Now all of a sudden tiles that are clearly in the right order are not being checked off and are unable to lock into place. I can still solve puzzles but it’s obviously very difficult to play when the game no recognizes when my tiles are in the right place except at the very end. I’ve already paid the 2.00 for the premium version and though it isn’t much I’m scared I’ll lose the payment if I uninstall/reinstall the app. This is urgent. I cannot play the game until this is fixed. This game used to calm my anxiety but this bug has me scared and anxious to even play the game.

Fun and relaxing
I have a very good eye for color and still find this game is very relaxing, I like to use it to unwind. Until today. Playing it and none of the colors were getting a checkmark, no matter the puzzle or level. I deleted the app and came here to read the reviews, figured I might just need to reinstall it since no reviews mentioned my problem. Not only is it working now, there’s also pleasant music which it didn’t have before. Just FYI.
I’ve been through all the puzzles for free at least once, might need to upgrade the next time I have a couple extra bucks. I do wish there was a timer though. I use the stopwatch on my phone to challenge myself.

So satisfying and relaxing!
This game is so beautiful! I love that it is a puzzle game that doesn’t take a ton of brain effort, so it’s really nice to play right before bed. It’s super satisfying to organize all the tiles. The colors and gradients are so pretty. And it’s super awesome that you don’t need an internet connection to play it. I’ve been playing this while listening to audiobooks before falling asleep as well as on the airplane when I need to chill out through some turbulence.
I’m seriously debating buying the upgrade for $3.99 but I’m not totally sure what’s included in it. That’s the only thing that’s making me hesitant. If I bite the bullet and decide to get it, I’ll be sure to update my review to include some more info!

Love it
I love to play this! One thing I especially love is the fact that it is not an app that needs to be connected to the internet or that tracks you in any way. I can just play the game, whenever and wherever I want. And, it’s fun, even after you get really good. And, it doesn’t take a time commitment, you can pick it up and put it down and not lose your place. It’s just really ideal for those reasons, and every once in a while there’s a new holiday themed board for variety, and you can get more if you like.

The best freaking app ever
Never written a review for an app but just had to for Chromatic. I downloaded it a few weeks ago and had the paid version installed by the end of the first day. Clean, simple, elegant and stress-relieving. When I initially downloaded I rolled my eyes hard at reviews that claimed the latter but I’m a convert now. I don’t even like game apps. I don’t have any on my phone. Ever. But Chromatic isn’t a game - it’s a meditation. I love it and I can’t believe it isn’t the number one download of all time. However, I do enjoy telling people about it and seeming cool and ahead of the curve so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Thanks!

The best so far
I never write reviews, but in this case I felt like it was necessary. This is one of the most beautiful and innovative games I’ve ever played. The concept is simple, yet, unique. I’ve never found a relaxing game that was focused on color. The themed options allow you to explore different hues. This is like a mini mediative escape into different worlds of color. I think creative minds or visual people would really appreciate this concept. The simplicity of this game is what give it its beauty. This is great to settle down anxious thoughts. Absolutely love this.

My game version of a soul mate
Best game I’ve ever played. Relaxing on a deep and good level. No timers. No ads. No comparisons to others playing this game. No linear progression through levels. So soothing to organize the colors and get such a visually pleasing result. The free version is amazing, but I’d highly recommend paying $2.99 for the full version (it won’t prompt you, you have to look for it) and then you get to create your own gradients! So good. I write the designers a love letter in my mind each time I play.
