Compound Media Hack 14.902 + Redeem Codes

The new one is worse than the last. I lost all downloaded programs, downloaded again logged out, back on again and they are gone. I have tried to download three times, 3 times they disappeared. Also looks like you can’t download audio from what I have seen so far.

It is much better after several updates this week. The only remaining major item is the limit of downloads that can be stored. I’m downloading audio only and it will only hold 10 shows. The old version was limited by memory.

Developer said limit was bumped in the last update. I went in to see what the new limit is. Same limit and ... all downloads gone again.

I’ve been a huge O&A fan since 98 and after finally catching up on their old show I was left with nothing. I finally decided to try listening to TACS last month and can’t believe what garbage this app is. It’s ironic that the app is such crap when they used to complain about the OnDemand of the duos previous employer. The stream quality is great but it’s the little bugs that drive me crazy. If anything happens either notification or a drop in network or almost anything the feed goes back into this zoomed in ratio. Every time you watch live and turn the screen I have to click the zoom out button to get the correct aspect ratio and it’s constantly doing it. The downloads never work I download an audio file that is older than a month and it never plays. You can’t live stream audio and lock the phone or it stops. Same with downloaded video. Other little quarks are it constantly tells you you need an active subscription when you have one and after a few clicks it works. The other thing I noticed and nobody I don’t think has mentioned this is the MASSIVE amounts of DATA it has used. In less then 2 months the app has used 30GB of data. Streaming my Plex in 5 years hasn’t used that much. I find it hard to believe a few days of video streaming (1hr of streaming roughly 3 days a week can use 30GB of data)be mindful of the data consumption.

I’m a huge supporter of everything and all the shows on Compound Media. This app is virtually useless. If you answer the phone it resets, if you browse away, it resets. Anytime you leave the app it resets. Know you have to wait for it to reopen, scroll through to find the show you were watching and the scroll to find a time stamp. It’s pure crap. You’re making it hard for me to get the content I’m paying for! Oh yeah. I’m a guy on the road a lot. I download shows to watch so when I may have a bad WiFi or no WiFi, I can still view the shows I want to view. I had 5 shows downloaded. I went to call one up 7 days ago, the app tells me I have no downloads. When I browse to the show I wanted to watch the app says it downloaded. The download manager in the app also stinks. You can’t download multiple shows unless you stand over it and keep the app in the foreground. There is not one single thing about this app that works well. Get a different company KTC. This is going to cause subscribers to leave.

Oh, because everything I try to support ends up screwing me over one way or another. Like a terrible ex-Wife this app annoys, doesn’t do what it says it’s going to, costs money, costs valuable time, forgets everything I ever tried to do and customer service can make you suicidal. I think the problems are pretty well stated except I keep getting Cancelation notices even though I paid for a year. I’ve written to Cleeng so many times I should be on their payroll. Hopefully this update fixes the download problem where it gets to 99 or 100% and never finishes. Truly like my ex wife. Content is 5 stars but I don’t know how this got rolled out with all of these issues. I quit listening to Stern and SiriusXM all together for this app and convenience is not one of its strong suits. I think Geno and Berg should have the app as a guest some time. Definitely would only be able to see the app if it smiled if we are complaining it to actual people. I’m sure it’s late all the time too.

The content is some of the best entertainment you will find anywhere. The app itself, however, is just plain awful. The previous app (“The Anthony Cumia Show”) worked great, and I get that they had serious issues with it on the production end, but I seriously hope this new app gets a major upgrade soon. Biggest problem is being unable to pause or rewind live shows more than one minute back without losing your place and missing content. I have given up on watching shows live and now have to wait for them to appear in On Demand. Other issues that I can live with for now, but this one is becoming a dealbreaker.

First off, the compound media content is great. Love it. First day subscriber.

Issue is the app. The app restarts anytime you make or receive a call. Pause a show and sleep your phone for a min while at the bank? Wake up phone and app restarts. Frustrating.

Also, app has some sort of parasitic memory issue. I got a “low memory” warning on my iPhone, which is odd for me. I checked storage, and compound media was up over 20 GB, despite me having zero downloads. Delete app, reinstall and it’s at 14MB. Biiig difference.

Jayman’s review covered every issue that I have with this app with the exception of the landscape mode cropping when I lay the phone down on a desk or counter. The same issues that makes me hate the CRTV app are carried over to the new Compound Media app. I can’t understand for the life of me why you’re going backward with the new app. Again this review is for the app and not the content. I’ll update my review and renew my subscription when these items are corrected...oh and put Night Shade on for an hour per day.
STILL KEEPING IT AS 1 STAR. (Just a small edit)
You would think that with the problems they’re having with this app and the timing of its release, the powers that be would extend everyone’s subscription through the end of August as a way to save face; but sadly the one functionality that seems to work flawlessly is the canceling of your access when your subscription expires.

While I like the platform as a whole Anthony and Dave are the show I like the best. I’ve been a fan of O&A since they came to Ny through XM, serious and stayed with Anthony when he began his podcast. Very happy that Dave was acquired. I feel that the the chemistry is there and hope they will continue for a long time. Lately the movie nights have been hilarious and I hope that continues.
Thank you for being there Anthony. The shows in all it’s forms have helped me through a lot over the years.

This app has never worked properly. I must force quit it often to make the navigation options appear while watching a show. I’ve emailed tech support numerous times. It stunk when it was new, and it’s about the same now. You can download and watch offline, but it’s tedious and clunky at times. Don’t try to download in the background, don’t let your device sleep, don’t attempt to que additional downloads, etc.

I like most of the shows on the app. They are very entertaining and funny. You cannot download shows video content to watch later. You can only download audio. Video downloads stopped working 3 weeks ago. I reinstalled the app, contacted support. Still doesn’t work. Tech support said they were aware of issue. I thought last update would fix it, but it still only allows audio downloads. Also if you get the ability for video downloads, use low quality. Other higher qualities is hit or miss on success rate. CM, please check with other developers to get an app that works better.
