Smothegreat,
Perfect
This is such a sleek little app. It doesn’t have a lot of features but don’t let that dissuade you! Because it is its simplicity that makes it so flexible. It does simple rolls or complex ones.

As a DM I utilize this in a few ways: prepping where dice wouldn’t be feasible (like the work break room or in restaurants), when they WOULD be feasible but I forgot them, at the table when I need to do rolls but without the players knowing, when the dice type doesn’t exist or you don’t have it (d3).

I used it with the ads (which popped up every few rolls) for a few weeks and since I was using it so much and found it so useful, I happily paid the $1.
Sschlais,
My Favorite Dice App! But one suggestion...
Of all the dice rolling apps I’ve tried this is hands down my favorite! I don’t know if it’s possible but the only thing that would make it even better is the following suggestion.

Some classes/subclasses in D&D have the ability to re-roll any 1’s. Because of this I can’t solely use this app. I either have to switch to all regular dice or use regular dice to separately re-roll the 1’s. If you guys could update the app to give the option of automatically re-rolling any 1’s (on the first roll), that would be amazing!
Lady Paper Dragon,
Love it, but it has problems
I strongly love this app, as it is utilitarian, and sleek in design. It makes rolling up a character or NPC, damage or anything else easy, with access to saving roll sets, and different themes to set the mood. However, after trying to purchase the full app for the iPad, the app started crashing repeatedly; the longest I've been able to keep it open was two seconds. After attempting to fix the problem repeatedly, I downloaded it to my phone. It has no problems on my phone, but continues to be a problem on my iPad. I enjoy this app, and hope that with the next update, the problem gets fixed!

Fantastic
As others have said, this app is the best out there. Its simple, sleek, and powerful. If you want dice on your phone, this is all ya need!

That being said, there are two features others have mentioned that could stand to be added: the ability to discard certain dice after rolling. Examples include advantage and disadvantage (2d20>1 and 2d20<1 respectively) and rolling up stats for a new character (4d6>3).

Best App but Save Problems!
I will say that this is my favorite app to use for dice rolling. It calculates any combo you want which is super helpful. It also has a feature that lets you save specific combos and name them which is useful to have presets for different attack & damage rolls HOWEVER it only let me save one preset. Every time I tried to save another, it would crash the app. I hope they can fix this as it would be so much easier to use. Also, I’d love it if it could add the swipe over to the side feature on my iPad. Then it would be PERFECT!
Raygan,
Really good, but could use an update for iPad
This is easily the best and simplest to use dice roller app on iOS. It’s the only one that is actually convenient to use at the table. Combining the dice rolling with calculator functionality is a brilliant convergence that makes both more useful. That said, I really wish this app supported slide over and split view on the iPad. iPads are great for character sheets and such and it would be so nice to be able to use the dice app at the same time as my character sheet.
UnnecessarySN,
My go-to
DM here. This has been my dice roller for years for anytime I need to roll irl and don’t have my dice handy, as well as big dice pools. Simple calculator format, you enter your dice formula and boom, fast result and you see the individual dice results. If you already think in dice formulas, this is for you. Also works as a simple calculator in a pinch
Dorkster78,
Really nice app
I really like this app, and I want to love it. If the editing functionality was tweaked I would give this app 5 stars, no problem. It would be nice to be able to pinpoint areas of my saved roll for editing. Instead of having to delete all the way back to my edit point. Would also be a QOL fix if when editing a saved roll the saved name would still apply. Great app otherwise though. Really saves time at the table and keeps the game going.
Scott Aleric,
Reach for the stars!
This app is almost ideal - there is only one thing missing and no workaround to get to it.
Vulnerable to...
It is a quality that adds 50% damage to what has actually been rolled. Since I can't add a decimal into an equation such as 5d6*1.5 I'm not able to make this calculation in the app. One possible remedy is to add another field next to half damage for this.

Otherwise, this so far is a great app!
Mattdimeo,
frustratingly close to perfect
Presenting die rolling as a calculator is a great way to do it. I just wish it worked more like a calculator, where you could continue the calculation after pressing =.

Like, if you rolled d20+7, then remembered your check should have a -2 penalty, there should be a way to subtract two without rerolling the d20.
