Dashcam Viewer Hack 2.3.0 + Redeem Codes

*UPDATED* Pretty sad company that takes 3 months to respond then just cuts and pastes their reply to other reviews when not applicable to the review... If their App only rates less than two stars, what does this tell you about this company? They’re one of the most expensive dash cam makers yet their ability to keep up with technology is lacking and almost absent. Their App only works on iOS 13 if you enable location services to be on all the time, even when not using the app which poses privacy issues. The ability to connect to the device using the App through their dash cam WiFi on iPhone involved enabling location to ‘Always’ after the recent iOS update. Are you unable to offer a fix that doesn't track my location 24/7? Do your research on Thinkware’s devices before you make a big purchase during the holidays or you or the recipient may be disappointed.

I am a software developer and literally appalled at so many negative reviews. I purchased this dash cam more than a year ago but never opened the packaging. I did not even bother checking if the item is undamaged and consistent with what was marketed. Due to the pandemic, out of boredom, I had it installed in my new Porsche. This dash cam works flawlessly. I have installed the Dash Cam Viewer on my PC, smartphone and will be doing it on my Mac as well. The app works amazing in both the platforms (Mac has yet to be tried).
The video quality is great. The dash cam comes with ton loads of features. Lane departure, front collision, gps (which precisely tracks your vehicle location in real time), speed, etc. Its motion detection is amazing. I parked it in the parking lot of grocery store and turned this feature on. It worked great.

I do want to suggest the users to update the firmware as I did. Firmware was successfully updated.

I just want THINKWARE to know that they should be proud of F770 and continue to provide technical support for this product, if needed (such as: firmware updates, Dash Cam app updates).

It’s a very unstable app. One wrong move and the app will crash and will give you a hard time reconnecting to the cam. If you’re lucky enough to get to the cam settings in the app without it crashing on you, it won’t let you save any changes you make. I bought the F800 model and the website says it has the ability to record time lapse videos to save memory space, but the app or PC software doesn’t say anything about any time lapse settings.. So far I’m stuck with factory settings on this camera but other than that it works perfectly and I’m liking it. I do recommend the camera itself as far as quality but I won’t recommend the app too much. The only useful part of this app is the ability to download clips from the camera straight to your phone.

I love how easy and intuitive this app is to use. Another reviewer complained that the cam always beeps and records an event every time he hits a bump; well under settings with the app all you need to do is change the sensitivity to the lowest setting. It works for even a bouncy 18 wheeler, I know!

The app has been stable for me, not sure why another reviewer was saying it crashes.

I have easily reviewed my videos and have downloaded them to my phone without problem. It’s so easy that I will download videos all the time. My last dash cam didn’t have WiFi and this really does make all the difference.

The dash cam itself (I have the XW10) is very high quality. The lens is large enough that even at night enough light is gathered for a decent recording. And the video is very sharp and clear, much more so than my old Cobra.

But using this app along with the WiFi and my iPhone is what really makes this dash cam a pleasure to use. ~SnoopCat~

I agree with the other poster. This app is a complete POS. I bought a F800 today, downloaded the app, and many times the app crashed and needed to be force closed then reopened. Furthermore, there were multiple times where it would stop responding and would need to be force closed and reopened. Unfortunately, each time the app is force closed and reopened, the F800 requires that it lose power before being able to reconnect to my iPhone 7 and being able to do anything via the app.

Everything about this app is a giant POS, and I’ve yet been able to watch any dash cam video even though the F800 says it’s recording and the micro sd card has been put it.

Very disappointed in this app and the F800 so far.

This was a super expensive cam and with some research it was rated as the best. I’ve had it for two years+ and I’ve have my car keyed, kicked in and had the my car broken into. The best video I got was when the car got key I saw two people in the middle of the street and seemed to be the culprit but of course there was no film on the actual activity. The sad card gets full quickly and needs to be replaced The WiFi fails and can only connect to the App when your I. The car. A serious waste of money which they likely used to pay off the great reviews that sucked me in.

I can connect to the WiFi, open this app, but if I go into any menu the app crashes and disconnects from the device. If I reopen the app it DOES NOT RECONNECT. Then I am unable to reconnect to the device, so I have to turn off and on the dashcam, open the app, and then try to do anything before the app crashes.

Also how is the app SO UGLY? What resolution is this? Why is the screen flashing when you scroll? Seriously, please fire whoever created this app.

Looks like I’m returning this dashcam and telling people not to use it.

I can't understand the bad reviews and it may have to do with the models people are using but this app runs great with my F770. It has occasionally crashed when navigating the menus "too fast" but otherwise it has run very well. To be totally honest though I prefer to view the video from the storage card directly onto my computer anyway. The Live View on your phone is pretty par but does not reflect the good quality of the final video.

Spent a good hour trying to figure why i couldn’t connect to my f770 using this app all of sudden to finally come here to see that I am not the only one. I almost got rear ended and I wanted to review the footage but couldn’t. I hope they update this app or I am left with a useless expensive dash cam. Without the ability to pull the footage on the spot would render the whole system worthless

Update : they came out with an update for the app that was suppose to solve the connection issue with IOS13 but it still does NOT work. Same as before the app update.

You don’t need this app to configure your dash cam. Just plug the memory card into your computer, go to the settings folder, click on the settings file and configure there. Reinstall memory card and you’re done

In the case of an accident you often cannot use this app because it requires the dash cam to have power. Ie. Engine running. Just buy a micro SD reader for your particular smartphone, throw it into the glovebox and you’re good to go.

These hints will save you hours of frustration. The cams are awesome. This app, not so much.
