THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK Hack 2.0.5 + Redeem Codes

The app doesn’t have as many settings as I’d prefer. Since I installed the dash cam, my car battery will drain because the camera keeps recording nonstop even after the car is off. I turned off as much as I could in the settings, but it still kills my car if I don’t drive at least every 24 hours. I never had a battery problem before this, my car is quite new. My battery started dying the day after it was installed. They recently added a shutoff setting to the app, but the smallest time option is 3 hours. I don’t need 3 hours of recording my garage wall. I’d love if they added a smaller option, like 15 minutes or 30 minutes. I have so much useless footage on there because most of what it records is when my car is parked. It would also help save my car battery from being drained constantly if it shut off sooner. I’m tired of having to jump my car regularly.

Most reviewers are expecting way too much with a wifi connection. This app is very basic to view footage on the or view live stream when needed. You don’t really need the app to see the footage but it’s nice to access some settings and see a live view or clips from your phone. Everything works the way it’s supposed to once you get a good connection established. Wi-Fi connection is ALWAYS going to be clunky, especially using an iPhone because iOS does NOT like to be connected to networks without internet, so it gives you a hard time to establish a connection. That goes for your OBD WiFi dongles as well. This difficulty with establishing a connection has nothing to do with the app. That’s just the way it is. The app works fine if you know what’s going on. And complaining about the camera draining your battery is just silly! Has nothing to do with the app and you can turn it off if you want. Also, how do we know if you wired your install correctly? I just unplug mine when parked in the garage. So don’t take all these silly I’ll informed reviews too seriously. It does the job.

The application works fine enough. The user interface is mostly self-explanatory, but the initial connection to the device felt cumbersome. Once connected, I was able to view and retrieve videos though there was some delay between selecting the video and being able to review it. I also encounters an issue with the Parking Mode feature. There appears to be safeguards in place to prevent your battery from being drained while parked. Unfortunately, this was not my experience, and I was forced to both replace the battery and disable the feature. I hope that this will be addressed in a future update because the setting could be really useful.

I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews for this app. I have used obd apps in the past and know iOS devices typically don’t like being connected to a Wi-Fi connection without actual internet connection. I downloaded this app expecting this to be the case due to the reviews but the app worked great. I was able to use live view to adjust the camera orientation and adjust settings I wanted to change. I don’t know what more you could ask for, although the f200 is my first dashcam and I don’t know what other dash cam apps may offer. Overall the app works great and the dashcam works as expected. I am pleased with the app and would recommend to anyone that needs it

The app loads, I can connect to the dash cam, but I cannot do anything else with it. I used to be able to with the other app, but that app just told me my camera no longer works with that app. I have three of these cameras, so never going to buy anything else from this company. I really hope they get their crap together. I would avoid Thinkware all together. You cannot view the videos on the go so why bother? The app simply does not work. I have spent two weeks sending emails to Thinkware with them not even trying to help. They sent did you turn on WiFi? I fully explained what I have done then they respond with there is a WiFi button. You have to press that and connect a phone wireless. Ah, yes. They think we are morons that cannot follow simple steps. I will purchase another brand and replace all of my Thinkware dashcams.

Out of all the Thinkware apps this is the only one which works at all. First thing the dashcam did was switch to Chinese, both in its app responses and the audible prompts. After much screaming and cursing on my part, it switched back to English when I found and reset the time zone! During the Chinese phase, I tried live support chat. I was #1 in the queue, but got no response. Gave up after ten minutes. Second star awarded only because it finally did its minimal job after two hours' worth of aggravation.

The day has 24 hours and since I bought Q100 and installed Dashcam link app together with Thinkware connected, I've been using 2 hours trying to set up the apps and the dashcam with no positive outcome. I've uninstall them both and installed them back and the only thing I hear is: discounted to the internet, connected to the internet, disconnected to the smartphone, connected to the smartphone. Moreover even when the continuous recording is disable the camera keeps recording continuously no matter how much I try to stop that in the app setting. Advice: if you are working hard in developing a useful app then you'll need to work harder because it is not working.

I’ve had my camera for around 2 years now. This app has always worked fine for me and I haven’t had any issues with it. I would mention that it’s kind of a long process to get the camera connected and might not be ideal if you actually got in an accident. It would be nice if Thinkware could use something that maintains a constant connection so it’s not quite so slow. Since it uses wifi it also can mess with your internet connection.

As the title states, that’s what you get. Terrible app…. Dash cam PC viewer excellent, if in the vehicle and you need to view immediately connect a SD Viewer adapter for your iPhone and view everything in the Files Folder. If you downloaded the app, just delete it it’s useless. The app is really zero stars, cam is awesome. It detects everything it says it will and even notifies you what was recorded and what folders it’s in. As in whether it’s motion or incident that occurred while it was in parking mode. Love the cam and PC viewer, really hate the app. Thinkware please come up with a replacement soon!

After some initial difficulty the combo is working great. I have an F200 Pro. Dash Cam Link is the only app that works with it, the other two from Thinkware do not.

Viewing clips and adjusting settings was easy. Enabled parking mode, we’ll see how that goes. I really like the camera voice interface, now I just need to complete the rear camera install.
