Science good, App needs improvement
The step by step guide is good for first timer users, but repeat users should be able to skip through the video guides to speed up the process. It’s one of the reasons I don’t use their tests anymore.

Easy and accurate
The detect test is the first at home test that I feel confident in! Not only is the science behind the test unbelievable but this app really made the experience seamless. The instruction videos were informative and moved at a good speed (not too slow or fast). Overall really polished and can’t wait to get my hands on more tests when they finally come back in stock!

Excellent COVID test, even better app experience
I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a quick, at-home COVID test that is of PCR quality. The app lays out very simply and intuitively exactly how to perform each step in the test. Both the test and the app are done extremely well and executed to the highest levels of quality and reliability.

Detect is the most accurate and easy home test available today. The user experience is excellent and the piece of mind that it provides my family is so reassuring during this latest surge in COVID-19. App is useless and crashes often
There should be an option for users have already done at least one test for a more speedy run through. Not being able to skip parts we already know how to do having to use the built in timer which always takes longer than the hubs timer. So many issues and bugs with the app. Please provide a speed option for more savvy users who use the test more often and fix the bugs that exist on old and newer iPhones (13 pro here) I can’t wait to delete this app!

App makes own determination if your test is expired
You don’t really need an app for PCR tests - plenty of easy to follow PCR tests exist without one. But what you do get is software that can refuse to run if it doesn’t like the expiry date on a test. Maybe the FDA extends the test’s shelf life, or maybe you want to make an educated decision about how to interpret the result, but none of us that under your control, as the app may simply refuse to work.

Peace of mind
