Audio menu and audio likes (can be disabled in settings menu). Playing an audio sample opens a menu containing all available voices/speakers to be played directly. You can then give each one a like or dislike, which will have an effect on the random selection of voices for the main play button. You can choose to block specific speakers or always hear recordings by your favorite speakers if available. (11.0.1: Bugfixes)

This app...
This app has made my life so much easier, with the little indicators of the uses of a word it’s much harder to accidentally say something you didn’t mean to. Additionally it’s very fast and I love that it’s offline. I just wish the Vocab was more organized and that there was a widget so I could look up a word with my phone locked.

Swear by this!
Diese Wörterbuch ist wunderbar!! Every student in my German class swears by this! It has a wide range of words, and is great if you need to find multiple meanings of a word, definitely better than google translate, and an asset to learning any language! It even includes the gender of nouns, which has always plagued my scores. It’s free, and you won’t regret setting aside the space for this app!

Great when you don't have a dictionary handy
Currently I don't have a large german dictionary handy so this is really helpful in looking up difficult words. It might be even better than most dictionaries in looking up idioms and expressions! And the ability to easily switch languages is cool.

The best learning tool I have ever used!
This app is far and away the most useful app I have ever used for learning a new language. It is fast, intuitive, precise and completely dependable. It is almost always open on my iPad. What a wonderful job the developers have done creating this!

Immensely Helpful
I think that the bilingual dictionary is underrated. It is much more useful, in my opinion, to be able to find more information on a single word than to translate complete sentences with errors (e.g. Google Translate).
I also appreciate being able to download the dictionaries for use outside of areas with cell coverage.
Although some of the dictionaries are not as large as I'd like, some are very comprehensive.
Overall, this is a good app and I use it daily in my German studies, and I used it very often while in Spanish speaking countries.

reliable and useful
For years, I have used the app regularly. It has always functioned properly. The dictionary is exhaustive. Offline availability is a valuable feature. This app has proven to be completely dependable.

What happened?
This app (the advanced one w/ a fee) WAS fantastic, but now it simply is a blank white screen when I click on the app. I tried updates etc. too. I had a couple years of saved expressions and words that I often review. What happened here? I found that others are having the same experience.

Stop using google translate. Das App ist mega toll!
Use this instead. There are a ton of helpful recordings with pronunciation and there are also a lot of idioms and other sayings that are also here. Extremely helpful as a tool for learning and understanding German.
