Viv4now,
Woah! Really cool…I mean hot!
I do solar outreach with kids and this is awesome. Love seeing the Sun real time in multiple wavelengths! You clearly put a lot of thought into this and it shows. We’ll done! Thank you!
carlyque,
See the Sun live!
Heard about this app on NPR's Science Friday. So cool that you can use the app to see live images of the Sun! Once the rain stops, I'm going to do some of these activities with my niece and nephew.
Miss pancake flipperdoodle,
Great App
Love this App! It is fun to look at the many images of the sun using different wave lengths.
Tyrone Slopwith,
I love the sun
Great app for learning about the sun. Love those live feeds from the nasa satellite.
jeffj911,
Great stuff!
I was surprised by how much time I spent in this app the first time I opened it. There's lots of really good stuff here! I agree with the other reviewer: the observatory would be extra awesome if I could scroll back through a few recent images... Even just having a snapshot for each hour over the past 24 hours, or snapshots that I have chosen to save. It would be really interesting to scroll flip through the images quickly enough to see how some of the sun's features changed over the last 24 hours. Either way, it's still a fascinating app and a great resource. Thanks!!
Monster maker 2345:,
Really cool app but here's a suggestion
I love this app a lot but a suggestion is for the observatory I think there should be like a timeline for the sun so you can compare what the sun was to what it is. Maybe like a past 8-12 hour slider of the sun would be awesome I think this app would be so much better. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Scincerely,

Awesome educational app
This app is great, especially for those of us homeschooling! It's very clever, has great activities and is beautifully designed!
ltCmdrData,
Great App ... Needs Offline Capabilities
I tried to use this app at a solar observing session for the public ... but many of the capabilities involve being connected to the Internet. I would give it 5 stars if I could download, and then show, videos and images of the Sun when out at a state park or some other observing site.
AuntieW,
Outstanding!!!
Just get it and make up your own mind.
I think this app rocks!!!
TroMaLi,
Live observatory images!
Very cool to see different wavelength images of what's happening on the sun!
