Wait and see (but a grind for now)
The respawned DB is new, so I’ll give it a while to get on its feet. For now it’s struggling to create a gatcha game without micro transactions. So far the solution is endless grinding. If that keeps up, in time about 200 people will be at the top because they’ve the know how to automate the grind. Hopefully the devs have other ideas how to help an excellent strategy game without endless tedium.

Love it
I love this game, you changed it to where there is not a team with one character carrying, instead you need a good team with synergy. I do admit, you need around 3 quick loots per day, but don’t make it where you can get quick loot keys any other way. There needs to be some kind of runes/epic. They use to be unfair and not fun but I think they need to be added back in some lesser form. All we need now is events to log in to every day, I don’t know what they could be but it’s kind of a need. Please keep on adding characters and their calendar events and this game will be one of the best.

Brutal Grind
This game used to be reasonably fun (though pay to win mechanics are awful). The new “free” version of the game is a painful grindfest. Not only do you have to play the same levels over and over and over and over (you get the idea) but the drop rates for hero chests at the end of the level have been decreased to a degree where the game is more a chore than anything remotely resembling fun. On top of that, the daily quests (which are generally the best way to level up) now include quests that require heroes that you wont have meaning you cannot completely the daily quests loop and thus cannot get the main daily reward. I deleted this game within days of installing it.

No more pay to win
The new version doesn’t have any microtransactions, it’s just good old fashioned grinding. You have to have a Netflix account but I already had one so as far as I’m concerned the game is free!
They made changes so that the heroes are balanced differently and you can play as much as you want (no stamina limits). They’re working on adding more content, but so far I think they’ve done a good job.

Some things I’d like to see: Multibattle for repeating the same dungeon on auto. Some sort of equipment system even if it’s just for something late game. And I HATE the guild daily to tap shiny objects in dungeons. I don’t like forced manual quests in a game that’s nearly entirely auto.
Review: I played a bit of the f2p one before and much prefer gacha without micros. I don’t mind the grind I just play at my own pace. I hope it stays without in app purchases.

This Remake is Amazing!
I’ve been playing this game for years now, and I’ve always loved it! Now, with this Respawned version, they’ve not only got rid of the micro transactions, but they’ve made the graphics better and gameplay faster!
Truly, this is a gem of epic proportions! Such a good game! 100% recommend!
Although, if I could point out one small problem, it’s that you can’t link your Facebook account here, so basically, you can’t carry anything over from the previous game, but that didn’t bother me too much, mostly because grinding for characters is easy!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a Dungeon to Boss around!

Nonstop Grinding
After a certain point, it is no longer about strategy it is entirely about grinding. There are no idle mechanics. It is all about how many times your characters run the same dungeon over and over again.
Every tier of the story forces you to autorun dungeons with characters you had no intention of leveling up or using.

Boring and repetitive
There is no way to auto complete a level once you have completed it which means you need to watch the same animations and fights over and over. Game gets very boring and repetitive and the drop rates for upgrades are atrocious. I had to play a level over 100 times just to get enough of the items to do an upgrade for 1 character, that’s when I knew it was time to quit and this game had no future. Skip this game at all costs.

Most of the bad reviews are people that played the old version and couldn’t port over Or people that don’t have Netflix.
If you have them then the game is very fun. Yes it is grindy. But no micro transactions. Just an easy diversion

Long time player
I’ve played Dungeon boss since it came out and always loved the game. After the 30 minute forced tutorial there is no where to sign in. The only menu for the game take you to a Netflix account screen.
No way I’m starting over and this is unfortunately far from user friendly. Hopefully this will change but it’s doubtful.
