- Hero stages will now grant orbs only upon 3-star completion
- Capturing a structure in a tournament will open the set defending party screen, and that party will now be saved per tournament
- “Defeat [faction] Heroes” daily quest will no longer target valor heroes.
- “Defeat Arena Heroes” quest will now count defeated heroes in the arena, even if the battle itself was lost
- Berserk and Puppeteer abilities have been changed so that the Target Max Level equals to caster level at max upgrade. This means that said abilities would be able to affect higher-level targets.

Great game and a team who cares
I have played enough games to know that the best games are made by people who care about the game and the players. With my experience the team responds as soon as they can (definitely within 24 hours since they seem to be awake when I am asleep) and they are interested in what you have to suggest. I threw a curveball at them by trying to use my iPod touch to play the game which crashed constantly making the game unplayable. I mentioned it to them on messenger and they asked me a few questions and told me that they don’t test the game on iPods but they do an about everything else. I can say that after 2 or 3 updates it now runs flawlessly on my iPod. So now I can finally have fun bashing skeletons and playing the game which is a nice simple easy to use game. I definitely recommend this one if you enjoy this genre of games

Just started this game and it was awesome Recently updated and the game mechs changed drastically Can’t upgrade your guys as fast Can’t negotiate locations as easily Can’t even enter different stages, you pick your party then nothing Can’t even get ahold of devs through help Wrecked what was an amazing game Update, worked through some of the problems , no thanks to the devs, and it is just not worth it. I usually play games for a couple weeks and get the hang of it but this is just too tedious. Evolving heroes takes too much gold, there’s no easy way to compare equipment or characters. There’s no easy way to know who works better in battles. Pvp just doesn’t work. I hate when games assign power ratings that mean nothing. I routinely get crushed by teams with power ratings thousands below mine. Battles are frustrating when your powerful heroes can’t participate because they get one turn to move for every 4-5 of others or can only move one square at a time. Upgrading them doesn’t help this either The update also increased the requirements for daily tasks. 30 battles for 5 heroes is a little much. Time needed to upgrade is also too long, and gold and gems are too hard to get for what you need. You are witnessing a game devolving into ptw Disappointing

I played this game for 6 months to watch it go to the drain… they also have no control over there discord channel it’s basically ran by the OG players that try to force game play narratives on discord…
Edit: I mean the Bishop Bots that have control of discord there pretty much all chat admins… giving all power to one team is unfair they even get special bot tag titles and control all other chat titles and they took away my rights to be a member of the chat because Doc doesn’t like me as a person for not following his rules he made up on how to play pvp although I used to boost the server for 5 months straight…. I would have assumed it’s there game and that makes people not wanna play… the people in discord walk on egg shells because they don’t wanna get in trouble then targeted everyday after… due to this I quit uninstalled canceled my server boost and stopped my kings membership. No point in spending money to have fake rules forced on you… server admins should be more diversely spread out not all of them in my guild jumping people…. I’d argue that I should be one just to stand up to them forcing unwanted narratives to the majority they don’t like listening to

Very pleased gamer!
I first started playing after seeing an ad on Facebook, usually I go to the comments to see what clever and funny statements are made about how ridiculous the game is or how the ad doesn’t match the gameplay... however to my surprise people were actually talking about the game. Not only that but the developers were actually responsive and welcomed the feedback and suggestions. So I decided to try it. I was not disappointed! This game, while seemingly simply, is actually fun and rewarding. I found it to be very engaging while reminisce of old 8bit style rpgs. There is a strategy to it, as it isn’t as simple as it seems. I was very impressed and will enjoy exploring the world, story, and strategic battles for quite some time. If you enjoy old school style graphics with simple gameplay but challenging mechanics. Please give this game a try!

I want to start off by saying I like the majority of the latest update except how my maxed out guys are no longer maxed out and it’s going to be difficult to max out their star rank because I already spent my accumulated orbs to get multiple heroes. I also didn’t like how maxed out lvl characters take some xp from any fight. I would like it if non maxed out characters got the xp that the maxed out guys couldn’t take. Otherwise I love the rest of the gameplay. I do enjoy the star rank system but it is definitely a hard transition from the previous power lvl system. Great game and worth the time to play. Would like more levels and quests or missions, the repetition of doing same areas and enemies is hard to play through at times. All in all, great game and is definitely going to be an even greater game in the nearby future.

5 stars for what it is
I downloaded the game in the beginning and it had a lot of bugs. So I deleted it and a year later gave it another try. I’m glad I did. I like the changes they made and it’s a lot more playable. I wish there were more explanations on how to do certain tasks or completing quests. Certain quests like gaining tournament points aren’t explained or I can’t because I don’t have characters and it makes me not able to gain rewards. At the same time it’s very hard to unlock characters unless you pay from what I have seen. Unless I am missing something. But again if you don’t wanna pay you don’t have to and the game is fun. Reminds me of old school shining fates.

I must be missing something.
I am at a point after about 2 hours I can no longer play. I have no way to level my characters to beat the next groups of bad guys. So all I can do is the arena every few minutes and hope to win some gold. I which I can eventually buy more characters. But even then I will not likely be able to level them as I still cannot beat the wall in front of me.
Leveling seems to be a bad design. You get more HP on every level, and a few points to spend. While you start out putting points in useful stats that make you stronger you eventually take things like reduce movement counter or a priest takes melee damage and melee crit. So a level 5 priest is pretty much the same as a 15 other than a few hit points.
I got enough shards to summon a new hero but since the hero’s is not in the tavern I have access to I am not able to summon it.
I edited my review. They fixed some of my complaints so I removed them. Also gave them 3*s instead of the 1. I still think it’s a bad design to limit the play at the begging of a game. But after a day all the low level mobs respawned and I was eventually able to, after 2 respawns, get to where I can play at pretty much any length of time I want. So you can truly kill time with this game. It is fun and it is challenging and the Deve seem to care about there game and players.
Leveling seems to be a bad design. You get more HP on every level, and a few points to spend. It was a fun game at first... now takes for ever
It was a fun game at first with a storyline, you grow your characters, you gain couple more.... you defeat bad guys, and move along quickly. Now my main heroes and a few others are on level 40 (over a week now) but I still can’t come even close to winning certain quests. A few heroes are full maxed out in orbs and levels, with points allocated to defense and offense in good proportions, and it seems that unless I buy some heavy weapons, I’ll have to continue to battle small battles for many more hours to come.... before I can attack certain quests.
At first it was fun, now healing takes hour, upgrading takes days, I keep on getting small chests, with no significant items in there.
I was hoping to complete the game, but looks like I’ll have to spent another 100 hrs before I beat next level or just drop it now. It’s getting frustrating a bit.

Nice game, unique and fun
This is a really good game, I would recommend it to anyone who likes RPG‘s. It can be a bit confusing at first as some of the interfaces are not intuitive. But it doesn’t cause any real problems, and you get used to it and figure it out.
The recent energy change was necessary, but Banditos, you have to understand it was a big reduction from a player point of you. You are taking something away that directly impacts the game. The way to handle this with your customers is to give them some gems as compensation. if you did some thing like 100 gems, you wouldn’t see much in the way of complaints. Even 10 gems would be something. But when you take away stuff and give nothing, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth of your customers.

Never write reviews but...
This is the first review I have ever written. This game is special. Why? It is both simple and challenging. Each update makes the game play more smoothly- allowing you to spend time on strategy not tidying up. And then there are the challenges that actually direct my progression. I shift from concentrating on orbs to chests to upgrades etc. as each challenge occurs. I rarely spend money on games and have played five heroes for months without paying additional fees. And loved it. But the Halloween special enticed me to invest in the VIP plan. I have no regrets. Just increased my enjoyment beyond the cost. The one complaint is lack of instructions. How much do boosts do? Where is a simple chart of character strengths and weaknesses? If this info exists, I have not found it- I learn by trial and error.
In summary if you got this far- a simple but challenging game that is NOT PAY TO PLAY and will quickly lead to addiction
