- Due to many people complaining about the game's difficulty, we have decided to buff the Breeze rune. This will allow players to breeze through particularly difficult stages.
* Breeze rune life bonus has been increased from 10 to 20
* Breeze rune enemy unit health penalty and movement penalty has been increased
* Breeze rune XP penalty has been decreased from -40% to -20%
* Blood rune XP bonus has been increased from 30% to 35%

* Fixed various minor bugs

My ALL TIME FAVORITE iOS GAME...Hands Down!!!
Update: I’ve been playing this game for over 2 years and I have NEVER found a better game in ANY genre!! This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE iOS game! The only thing I could possibly wish for is a sequel!!!
This game is awesome! I'm not a fan of TD, so I passed this up a few times. Now I feel stupid for not buying this game sooner! This game is challenging but isn't the type to frustrate. Each failure presents a challenge to come up with new strategies to complete a level...that, combined with an amazing soundtrack and tons to earn, the addictively high replay value make the $3.99 price tag seem tiny in comparison. Thank you, developers! PS- the word "un-put-downable" would be a good way to describe this gem.

Truly awesome TD game
I'm a tower defense junky and this is THE best TD game I've ever played. The ability to push and pull enemies off of the track open up a whole new dynamic to TD games. I have literally spent over 50 hours capping out each level and it's hard enough to keep an advanced player engaged. It also offers the ability to make levels easier and harder with appropriate awards for each. Hands down, best TD game I've ever played.
Side note, this is only the second review I have ever left in all the years of playing iPad games. This one deserves it. Throw them the 5$ or whatever it is. It's definitely well worth the money.
At some point, I would love to see a map maker though. I'd love to be able to make my own maps and share them with friends or whatnot.

Fantastic TD Game!
This game is a gem. The gameplay is perfectly balanced to allow the player to win without resorting to IAP, just plain thinking strategies. I bought this and the sequel as the game is just so good. This game is way better than 90% of the TD wannabes in the App Store: these spam you with loads of monsters until you have to use paid powers to win, or are just impossible to enjoy. Buy this, highly recommended.

Greatest TD I've ever played!
I normally don't write reviews but, this game DEFINITELY deserves one. This is amazing, great, really good. The thing that makes it great, is the fact that you can push, pull, and throw your intruders is amazing. It's a feature I've never seen in a game before, and it's a feature that's makes this game amazing. It's worth all of my money.
Although, a map maker would be nice. I'd love to play some maps other fans created.

One Simple yet important suggestion.
Please add the ability to use the Breeze rune and the Endless Rune at the same time. Make the effect count for zero score, just so people can casually play endless mode for nothing but fun, that would really be so amazing and I hope so badly that you see this and consider it. It would do nothing but add infinite replay value for all types of gamers playing your game. This is the best TD I've played on a mobile platform and that update would make it 5 times better instantly.

Absolute Excellence
This little gem is an absolute joy to play. No pay2win bs, no microtransactions, just solid, challenging, rewarding gameplay.
This borders on a puzzle game, because each level is really flexible and allows for several different approaches. One of the very few games in the app store that would fall under "strategy" and ACTUALLY REQUIRES STRATEGY! 5/7, 11/10 with rice, extremely happy with my purchase.

Best Tower Defense Game
I got this because I saw Dungeon Warfare 2 on toucharcade, and wanted to see how part 1 was, and found this was a little cheaper, so I thought I’d check this out first. Its gameplay is actually better than Kingdom Rush (the whole series), The catch is the pixel art is ugly. It’s messed up my studying for almost 2 weeks. The length of the game is ridiculously long. Fun Fun Fun, Evil Evil Evil lol

Surprisingly great!
I don't write reviews often but this game deserves it. I used to love tower defense games then got tired of it for having played so many. This game is one of the best on iPhone, has many new towers unseen on most td games, and has level replayability à la gemcraft due to a rune and leveling system. I have played many hours and I am still not finished! Great job guys!

Great TD!
Been looking for another good TD without microtransactions ruining it, and still with a great amount of strategy! It's another "place your towers wherever you want" type game and the mobs, for the most part, don't simply run on predetermined paths.
Difficulty progression is good; rune system to add your own difficulty is well executed. Highly recommended!

Amazing TD game
Got this game while it was 50% off and I've concluded that this game is still worth it even at full price. There's a lot of varying towers and kill mechanics which makes space for a lot of strategy and fun. I am also a fan of 8-bit graphics so everything was very pleasing aesthetically.
