Kungfugirrrrrrl,
Improvements and more improvements!
I’ve been a FightCamp member for 2+ years Boy, has this app changed! It started out just Boxing. No long warm-ups, no abs. Just the basic. Then, after a little nudging, kickboxing arrived!! After a little more nudging, Abs and then warm-ups came into the picture. Trainers, Tommy, Flo, Aaron, PJ, and Shanie are upping their game! Now we have Jess, who you will adore. She’s the trainer’s trainer. I got my Christmas wish and now the app has strength and conditioning, recovery and stretching, shadow boxing, drills, and don’t forget the fighter’s paths!! The only thing missing is jump roping, and you just KNOW Tommy’s got it going on!!! If you are new to kickboxing or boxing, there’s a path for you. Start at the top of the list and build your skills as you work your way down. There’s even a Facebook page, and individual Instagram trainer pages, to help those who would like/need a community for support. I’m really pleased, not only by the positive improvements in the activities within the app, but the IT support. We had a glitch in our trackers and IT was right on the problem and got them sorted out right quick. Money and time well spent! Ding! Ding! Ding! Step into the ring!!!
PrinceRe-Up,
AMAZING workouts with Aaron Swenson
Born and raised in Brooklyn, currently reside in Connecticut. I’ve been boxing on and off since I was 16. Off was always due to boxing fees. While gym memberships were always reasonable, the trainer fees on top of that would always burn a whole in my pocket. Fight Camp and Aaron Swenson (One of Fight Camp’s trainers) has made it so convenient to get all the benefits of boxing with a trainer at a gym but at a fraction of the price. I workout at my local gym (for the heavy bag and sauna after my workout) for 20 bucks a month. I work out 6 days a week with Aaron Swenson, rotating his beginner 15 minutes burnout class one day and his advanced 45 minute class the next. I’ve yet to try any of the other trainers because Aaron’s workouts are just perfect for me. He gives advice on form, techniques, and even challenges you to switch stance. With a 30 day free trail, you have nothing to lose. Take it from me. I do not benefit at all from suggesting this app or this trainer. I’m just someone that’s loves boxing and understand it is expensive to get this kind of training and want to spread the word. Hopes this helps.
Energia Phoenix,
The best boxing/kickboxing app PERIOD
This boxing/kickboxing app is for everyone and every age and every level. The coaches are extremely thorough mindful of good form and also versed in boxing and kickboxing. These are not models or trainers these are all season fighters and ever evolving coaches because you can hear it in the way that they Cue in the way that they coach you up and keep you motivated round after round. Try every coach and every workout and now that they have strength, conditioning, recovery this app is one for the ages and it blows everyone else out of the water. I don’t believe that there’s any competition in this area at all and if there is is done by a bunch of amateurs. I highly recommend you get the points trackers and stay engaged in the user forums.

They drop new workouts every week and these coaches are all over social media eager to help you be the better version of yourself. Tell a friend and join FightCamp.
RaginAsian55,
One of a kind!
Love this app! It’s one of its kind. I looked for something like this for a few months and finally stumbled upon FightCamp. My husband and I work out together and feel great. I have 10+ years of formal martial arts training, and my husband never threw a single punch or kick before starting. So as a couple we can certainly attest that FightCamp is great for all levels of skill! For me it’s fun to get a good workout with trainers who I know are technical and proficient. (I cringe when I see cardio people trying to throw punches or kicks) My husband loves the distraction of an activity with punch goals and getting mental exercise from the punch & kick combos. We sweat like crazy!

Our biggest hurdle is we live in an apt. So only one of us works on the bag and has to pull our punches, while the other does shadow boxing. It’s a great workout either way.

I’d love to see:
1) More kickboxing (maybe Muay Thai)
2) more 6 round workouts
3) skills drills to improve form vs just a demo video
4) plans for 1 hour (12 round) workouts?

The other biggest boon is the upfront cost. We only purchased the wraps and trackers which set us back $500. There is a money-back guarantee for 30day trial. But obviously this is the biggest barrier for most people to start. $39/mo for membership is still better than any other boxing gym or fitness center, and this is a specialized and technical workout.
LyMo0426,
I look forward to this every day. I love it!
I am new to boxing and am completely loving this. I feel like they have all bases covered: workouts for all levels, with or without trackers, many videos teaching fundamental skills, intelligent, informative and entertaining instructors.
I was just diagnosed with cancer and was completely in shock and overwhelmingly sad and full of fear. I am going through all the testing now and don’t know what my treatment etc will be. Honestly Fight Camp has gotten me through these days filled with anxiety. I can keep my mind on a completely new skill and sweat and punch for 20-40 minutes each day. Because I am scared of what’s to come, my breathing has become very shallow but during Fight Camp you have to take deep breaths and just keep going.
I very rarely share personal info but I am grateful to Fight Camp and Tommy and thought I should say so.
“Champions Get Up !” (Yeah I need this t-shirt!)
Thank you💜

Fight camp
Love the app all the training drills . It’s fun , light, and heavy depending on what you make of the workouts. Love the trainers. I connect with them all o. Different work outs . Cool app . It has definitely improved and it offers more than just boxing/ kickboxing. But very relatable options, core ,stretching, drills all kinds of stuff I haven’t even gotten too . And I’ve used the app for at least a few years .. the one thing that has changed but not for the better ( in my opinion ) .is that there are less workouts without punch trackers. I’m sure u can add just a few new or even allowe access to some old work out for people like myself who only use the work outs not the equipment since I had my own. But I love the app and trainers stacked work outs . It’s awesome. Please More free workouts! Thanks and I also proudly endorse this app to any one I see fit!
Aaron.pampo,
Amazing hands down
I never write reviews, but this app really deserves it. It's a great tool to use and it's very informative. The trainers are amazing, the technique is sound, and it's very easy to learn. They really break everything apart for you and I'm honestly blown away.

For those who DON'T WANT TO SPEND MONEY you can still learn and benefit from ALL the workouts for FREE even if you don't have the punch trackers. You can simply go into the workouts and hit the layout. You won't have the video, but they outline the entire workout regimen for you and you can still get amazing workouts and learn combos on your own.

I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn boxing or kickboxing. And even to anyone who wants a new and fun way to work out. It's amazing. Thank you, Fight Camp team. You really helped me and I wish I can give back through more than this review. THANK YOU AGAIN
Niiknak16,
Not my favorite
I personally do not like FightCamp. The equipment is extremely subpar— first off, the gloves are the quality of the ones that you get for free when you first sign up at a gym. You can’t even select the weight of gloves that you want aside from large or small; they’re all just the standard 12 oz. The bag itself (not the base) moves around like it’s filled with air, and the trackers only seem to track, at best, 1 of every 5 punches. The traditional wraps feel like party streamers that are made from paper, and the FightCamp wraps have weird stitching that groups your pinky & ring finger, and middle with your index that makes them SUPER uncomfortable to wear.

I wouldn’t recommend this program to beginners because I have yet to encounter a workout where the instructors go over proper technique, so it’s not likely that you’ll learn the proper foundation of kickboxing. You’re much better off going into a gym to learn the right form.

If you’re an experienced boxer, watching the form of some of the instructors is very frustrating. I truly don’t understand how they can be throwing kicks, or even hooks for that matter, without turning their hips or moving their feet.

The workout itself is okay. If you’re like me and are working out in your garage in Texas, in September, you’ll definitely end sweaty. That said, you will not feel your workout afterwards, or the next day. This might be a personal preference, but I like to be sore after completing a workout.

High Quality, Seriously Impressed
I normally don’t write reviews. After spending a good 9 months with the system at this point, as well as being a benefactor of the iterative improvements of this application, I must say this must be one of the most well designed and high quality connected fitness systems on the market. The app is a solid companion, and it’s integration and multiple angles of presentation of data to accompany the workouts has been highly motivational and has raised my interaction levels. The system in general is clean, and integrates very well with the Apple ecosystem of products. All of the trainers provide unique personality, and the app does a great job of showcasing just enough human elements through them and alongside the variety of workouts presented.

Highly recommend this product!
allene.ham,
Love it but issues with AirPlay
I love this app and all the workouts! I have done several kickboxing group classes in the past, but the commute and specific times of classes didn’t fit into my schedule. This has allowed boxing back into my life. I will say I started with water in the base, but it was too light so we switched to sand. Much better weight for both my husband and me. If you are used to boxing I would just start with sand. The only complaint I have is getting it to AirPlay to my Apple TV. AirPlay and Screen Mirroring are two different things. Other apps I use such as Pelaton, YogaGlo, etc. have AirPlay options built into the video. The Screen Mirroring option lags too much and I will need to buy a lightning to hdmi cable to get it to stream to my TV. I now have an extra accessory to buy and use for just this app. Please, please get AirPlay built into your videos/app! Otherwise it is great!
