Can there be a future multiplayer game mode?

Even though there is several missions for every helicopter (and there’s A lot of helicopters) I feel as if there is still something missing to this game, I think a multiplayer game mode would be great for this game, like free roam or co-op missions, or maybe even a heliborne style where you have to go against other players in a domination style gamemode, I would absolutely love this game even more! At the very least I would like to be able to play against bots. I don’t think there is enough air to air combat in this game, if any. Something I would also love is customizable helicopters, both cosmetic and weaponry, I mean, I would love to have all hellfire missiles on my Apache, and maybe community made maps and missions, this would keep the community involved with the game longer. However the game is a great simulator, I would absolutely recommend to anyone that plays air combat style games, 10/10 I think there could be so much more done to this game to improve the already amazing content given to the players.

PLEASE READ,Love it but needs more

Cars should look more realistic and there should be enemy and friendly helicopter and it also needs some more mission and helicopters and I wish there were jets and there should be trucks. Other than that I love this game and I think it's one of the best games because others are nothing like this I mean some games are puzzles and photos but this hits the spot and there should also be multiplayer do you can fly with others like gunship 3. And can you also fix a glitch that the helicopter blades don't spin right they just go back and forth and can you add the SA342 and if there was multiplayer that would be amazing.

I’ve had this game since the first day it was released years ago and have seen it blossom into something really amazing!(:
You released the kiowa after all of us begged for it(thanks) Now i ask that you enable us to be able to customize our aircraft with weapon loadout outs and cosmetics such as armor and camos.. also please add a fly by camera option and customizable missions since we already have open maps for free roam to make them more sand box and add multiplayer and please update your games physics it’s OK but could be a whole lot better and realistic and of course update the damage modules for when we take damage from bullets / rockets .. pleas take these into consideration from a loyal fan from day 1! And also please don’t take soo many long gaps between updates :(

Pretty nice sim!

Full disclosure: I only have about an hour logged in an actual helicopter. That said, this sim seems to be a good, fairly realistic flight model without getting overly detailed about the controls (e.g., the cyclic & throttle are not separate controls, because that would get difficult and frustrating to handle).

As noted in other reviews, the flight model of the Osprey is not particularly accurate in airplane mode (I do have a couple hundred hours logged in airplanes). But I trust the developers are working on refining it, and it's still a darn fun aircraft to fly!

Variety of aircraft is nice. The campaign is fun, but can be a bit repetitive and is a bit short. I also felt like "campaign" is a bit of a stretch because the missions don't always seem connected to one another. There are some notable exceptions for a few missions, but there's nothing in the way of an overarching plot or story, which I think would help.

I'd also love to see more done with cockpit instrumentation. Most instruments are fixed images.

Overall, a really nice little sim that I hope continues to grow and improve! Well worth the cost.

So fun, but I hope the developers read this

It's awesome, there are somethings that should be added though. The V-22, is probably my favorite, but when the propellers are faced toward, like a plane, it doesn't fly like a plane, it still flies a lot like a helicopter, and when I land it vertically, it tends to roll, it would be nice if there was a brake button. Also, when not on a mission, just flying around, if there could be enemies on the ground in places, or even better, be able to set what you'd like before you start, like decide how many enemies there would be, and change the time, and weather, anyway, just some ideas, it's an awesome game

Amazing/a few suggestions

Excellent sim, I’ve had it for years and despite being repetitive it is still fun. A few things I’d love to be added would be damage to helicopter controls. Aka. It gets harder to control the more damage it withstands. Like if it is smoking it’s taken heavy damage and probably won’t be as responsive and be much harder to control. Maybe more missions per update. I finished the new missions with in an hour of the update upload. Another thing is custom missions. So you design and save your own combat missions. With multiple options of enemies. AAA, SAMs, trucks, mobile units, tanks, other heli’s, and for mission types search and rescue, transport recon, combat air support, so on and so forth.

Another addition that would be cool is instead of a set Chopper per mission, split them in to classes, like
Heavy transports;
-Chinook
-Stallion
-Osprey

Light transport;
-Black Hawk
-HIP
-Kiowa
-Cayuse
-Iroquois
-Stealth Hawk
-Pave Hawk

Attack;
-Apache
-Tiger
-Cobra
-Black Shark
-Hind

Please have more than 1 update every 1-2 years. That's the only reason I gave it a 3 star. So either more frequent updates or more stuff added per update. That’s my only complaint over all. That would be super awesome.

So realistic and fun!

This is one of the best simulator games I have played. I enjoyed it so much I actually spent money on it, which is something I rarely do for games. They only gripe I have is while flying the osprey. The transition between level flying and vertical landing is rough and hard to accomplish. In order to change you need to slow down, but it seems that the airspeed requires to transition is too low to remain airborne. Also the handling is a little weird. I wonder if rotos could use the same handling line for the osprey as they do with the jet fighter games they produce? Maybe I'm missing something too. Over outstanding game!

This is just great!!!

This app is just great!!! I suggest these add ons whenever you've got the spare time for it.

1.) more military "bases"

2.) (Coast Guard) HH-65 Dauphin(by the way, you should use the sound of an ACTUAL Dauphin helicopter). As well as the EH-101 in a military livery.

3.) maybe make it so you can taxi the helos by tilting the device forward and get the steering to be sharper on the ground for that feature.

4.) there’s a problem with the rotors. They’re spinning funny. Doesn’t look right so that’s something to look into. Also when starting the engines I think it’d make it even more realistic if you added a second “spool up” for multiple engine helos

5.) maybe add a weather setting (snow, rain, fog, etc.). Then add a small window for windshield wipers, navigation lights, beacon lights, landing lights, and strobe lights.

I think these definitely should be some cool features to look into. Awesome app. Great way to kill time, entertain yourself, and just have fun! Keep up the good work!

Best Military Helicopter Simulator!!!

I can count on one hand the number of apps I've purchased and this is one of them. There are several reasons that I purchased this and why I call it "the best":

1st is the sheer number of great helicopters there are to fly, each having their own look and flight characteristics;

2nd is the number of missions with the "promise" of more to come (which I am eagerly awaiting);

3rd is the great flight physics, making the flying of each aircraft relatively realistic (it could be better, but it blows other simulators I've tried away in how it flies).

I also appreciate the ability to test most of the aircraft out and play some missions for free before I had to commit any money, it made me feel confident about my decision and it also wet my appetite for more missions, so it kind of reeled me right in.

If you like helicopter flight simulators this game has to be on your list of games to try and buy, you won't regret it!

Game is Great But there’s 1 iconic helo not in game

The game is thoroughly great. The flying feels good and the controls are mostly solid. The graphics are somewhat lacking but it doesn’t really interfere with the gameplay. The only thing missing is the Little Bird helicopter. It would be able to bridge the gap between the Cayuse and the Kiowa in weaponry and feel. Plus, possible missions could be added such as gun runs and such for it which would easily be the most fun type of mission in game imo.
