Love it, except for the glitch
I always judge games by their logo, and their art because it almost always reflects on how good the game is. This game truly hits all the requirements anyone would want in a game. To the art and design, to the complex story line. It really is extraordinary how much work the creators of this game put in to the art and mobility of the game. One of the things I love most is that you don’t need to pay for anything to continue on. Even for reaching the alien world, there’s always another way to get to it other than paying a huge amount like other games I’ve played. This is why I was so disappointed when I found this glitch. Full of Stars gave me high expectations on what to expect, and all my hopes where shattered. I reached level four and went through the alien journey twice. However, the next day when I went back to the game, it erased all my saved data on level four. This included everything else I worked so much to get, such as my hard earned achievement medals. Despite that, I went through level three again but I was so disappointed when it erased all my saved data yet again. I can’t pass level three even when I meet all the requirements. I truly want to give this game 5 stars because I know that without this glitch, it could be my favorite game.

Good, but some things need fixing
This game is extremely fun and well made. The in app purchase currency feels fair to collect in-game and the gameplay is very enjoyable. However, there are a couple issues, if fixed, would VASTLY improve the game. First, the music glitch. Sometimes I will want to listen to some music while I play, but if you try to enter the rift(actual game) while music is playing the game will freeze for a minute unless you pause the music, and if you don’t pause it the game will crash. In addition to that, occasionally there will be some lag that kills me, but that doesn’t happen often so it’s not much of a problem. Second, battles. For some reason, during the bounty hunter fight, when I was skipping some dialogue so I could get to recharging my shield, it automatically sent me to the “how do you want to escape from combat” option. With the bounty hunter at 69% health, two people on my ship, and a broken shield, escape was not what I wanted to do! I didn’t have enough crystals to do an instant escape, so I was forced to try a normal rift jump... and it killed me. I had gotten further than ever, and the end of this journey infuriated me. The simple solution is to add a third option to the escape combat choices: don’t escape and continue fighting. The shield recharge also has this option, so why shouldn’t the escape? I hope the developers see this post to fix these issues so I can give this game the 5 star review it deserves.

I really like to play this game on my spare time and i love the space captain rpg story and everything.
Its a great game where i can just jump in anytime and feel like i have a destiny among the stars even though the gameplay is a lot like a flight mini game and scenarios only come up when you crash or get shot or end up getting to your desired location, these scenarios are quite short and mostly penalizing after a major crash or indecent which is really fun to go from a flight minigame to an rpg text based puzzle. Some downsides to this aren't only the consequences of waiting for your ship to recharge after a few difficult runs and sometimes feeling like the story is haunted based on your attempts to improve at the game which is a downside that i wish there was a better way or just more charges i could store maybe im not far yet so im gonna keep my judgement light. I really enjoy the game but sometimes it feels like its missing something maybe more types of mini games or different types of combat or interaction with crew members to have a more of a personal respect system to prevent uprising or people abandoning ship? Idk just a thought. In the end a great game and I'm just playing it again after a long time of being away and i want to do my best to push through my inpatients

Incredibly casual player un-friendly
I got this game because of the incredible looking art, and I was not disappointed. The game has so many routes, so many scenarios, risks, Art, etc. It almost was the perfect game.
However, the arcade or “flying through an asteroid belt you were forced to go through” bits are insanely difficult. It requires a ton of crazily precise movements just to get enough resources to go into overdrive and skip some of it. What’s horrible is that no matter what I do, it’s inevitable. The game starts with an easy course but they get unbelievably harder as you move on. I’ve gone through so much pain trying to progress through the story that I haven’t touched and can’t even imagine what the “hard” and “very hard” stages are like.
Because of this, I inch forward about one sector each new time I die and restart. It’s a very time-consuming process that is very annoying and stressful to go through.
Please give us an “easy mode” that reduces the obstacles and frequency of tough areas for more casual players like me. Even though you guys probably intend the game to be hard, many incoming players are just casual people looking for a beautiful place to experience, not a stressful frenzy of meteor-zigzag mayhem.
Whatever next update you guys release, please give it a casual player friendly option so people like me who just want to enjoy the art can do so. Thank you.

5 star game, absent developer.
I’ve had this game downloaded for years and years. However. It seems to have been all but abandoned by the developer. Whether that be from popularity of their other software, or just hard times. I remember downloading this game on my iPhone 6 years ago. two upgrades later it is the only game that has remained. The bugs are endless. The frustration and almost dependence on in app purchases is frustrating. But the game still remains playable, and my god is it great. The soundtrack, the increasingly challenging gameplay, and don’t even get my started on the replay-ability. Hours and hours of fun. In my case years. To see the developer come back and fix some bugs, do some optimizations, and show this amazing indie title some love will be long overdue. If you haven’t downloaded it. Do it now. It has its quirks, and there’s a lot. But this game is something anyone, anywhere can enjoy for a quick jump in play on the bus, or playing at home to make some heavy progression in the game. You won’t be disappointed and I’m sure the devs will come back some day.

Rifinity doesn’t work and it halved the game
I love this game... used to play is years ago and I was obsessed. I just found it again and was super excited to play again. The art, the action, the story... everything is super engaging.
However, I’ve found that half of the functionality is locked behind their Rifinity option, and my Facebook WONT CONNECT, so I can play LESS than what I used to play... it makes me really upset because I used to love this game, and now they’ve halved it with a problem I can’t fix on my end. I wanted to try harder paths, but there is no option for choices without connecting to Rifinity, which is apparently impossible with my phone. I even tried deleting and redownloading and Logging in again and it didn’t work. Tried searching online forums but no one knows.
The error I get with Facebook says: “
App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.
“
Please fix this. I want to play this game. Or at the very least, make rifinity optional. PLEASE devs— I really WANT to play the game. I don’t mind connecting to Facebook. But please make sure it works before it’s mandatory?

Fun on the first few completions
This was very fun while I had it, but eventually turned from an interesting story into a very difficult tycoon game. Yes the story is fun but repetition is one of the worst things a developer can do with a game especially with a sport game because it changes what it was supposed to be. Eventually I figured out the majority of what I was doing and had a game plan, until as many have mentioned, the game keeps getting harder. Not to much of a problem because by this stage it’s just normal, then we get to the repairs and problem fixing. Why would you put up a hydroponics area only to need to pay for it AGAIN after you crash? Why should I pay for more repair drones when I already bought some before? On top of all this, people in the blue sector act like they can’t have children in the years that pass with each ship. In other words, it’s a tycoon game with story that continues to fade as you play it. Great game nonetheless, just some stuff I would point out so you wouldn’t make more mistakes like this.

“Full of Stars” is a game that is nothing short of an interactive Sci-Fi novel. From the massive-scale space wars to the quick decision making required in the heat of the moment, this game delivers all it promises and more. The UI is clean and crisp, the storyline is excellent, the music is top notch, and the art design has a charming but uneasy feeling, giving you the impression of the unknown.
It is incredibly easy to re-gain the in-game currency, Iridium, without in-app purchases. A good fight piloted by an experienced player can net you an income of 2,000 Iridium, and if that doesn’t suit your fancy, Riftinfinity can do the same thing without all the worries of making a mistake on your main storyline.
All-in-all, “Full of Stars” is bound to bring you hundreds of hours of enjoyment, wether it be at work, on the bus, or anywhere else you have your two thumbs and phone.

Outstanding Classic
Reading the other reviews I see a few complaints about glitches and difficulty of gameplay which I feel like I should address. In terms of bugs there really isn’t many other than the fact that the game freezes when you try to play other music while the game is open. In terms of difficulty, the true value of this game is gaining experience until you become good enough to stop crashing every 5 seconds and killing everybody in your crew. Also, the art style and storyline is very engaging and the game has a a lot of depth in terms of the different obtainable accolades and the progression of your blue sector colony, which adds a nice layer of replay ability, as of right now I am on the 23rd journey in the freighter pilot storyline and it is still interesting and challenging to play. This game is seriously underrated and I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing game for Adblock users.
Full of stars. Immediately promising with endless story until you run into the ads that take half the time you are playing. If you are to really enjoy this game I suggest getting ad-blocking software that allows you to click on the ad button and get the rewards without seeing the ad. I find the grind to be enjoyable because each journey is difficult in its own regard and there are multiple goals to pursue. Although I do not experience reasons why there are complaints about money requirements, I can understand how if a player couldn’t grind through the storyline multiple times to get to an end goal like the explorer storyline, it would lose its interest fast. I have spent about 8 hours on the game and have gotten about 3/4 of the way through this game.
