WILSCATZ🐱🐯🦁🐅🐆🐈🐈‍⬛,
Gibbons are apes.
Hi so I like this game. It’s very fun. I find it entertaining and gibbons are my favorite ape because of this game. I also liked reading about gibbons in the book thing. I have noticed no glitches so far (If I do I’ll edit the review. In general, the developer has done a great job with this beautiful game and doesn’t have to read the rest of the review because they know gibbons are apes. This review is meant to be read by everyone who keeps writing those reviews calling gibbons monkeys, or just in general calls gibbons monkeys. GIBBONS ARE APES. NOT MONKEYS. TELL ME WHEN THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A GIBBON WITH A TAIL. This isn’t the first time I’ve been annoyed by something like this. I recently went to a zoo because there was a new baby gorilla. There was this obnoxious group of kids that kept calling the gorillas monkeys. Don’t call apes monkeys. And don’t call white tigers albino tigers if their stripes are black. I’m just… telling? Correcting? Telling you that you’re wrong because I’m an older sibling? Idk. But if you call gibbons or any kind of ape monkeys STOP. -MONSTRKTTY
ImNotTellingYouMyRealNameUwU,
I love this game!
Not going to lie, I was very sad when the mate of Pink died and it was a twist in the story for me. It’s sad to think that this is happening all over the world today. The artwork is amazing and the scenes would let me focus on the levels but also put into account that these things are, again, happening everywhere to these animals! I would love to see a possible new mate for Pink or a further continued storyline! I would also love to see a second section besides the Liberation part of the game because it mostly is repetitive. I love how the game isn't like an other game I’ve played and how the artwork and cartoon style of the game mixed with the animation really gets me addicted to this game! It’s one of the best Apple Arcade games I’ve played! To the reader, I recommend Sneaky Sasquatch because the artwork is sort of similar with the cartoon style!!!

Literally Gorgeous
This game has amazing meaning and has a wonderfully intuitive feel, it lets me be a Gibbon while I play it. The artwork is captivating and the mechanics are very easy to get good at quickly. A lot of activist groups will be overbearing and sappy, the developers of this game definitely did not shove their message in my face, but they subtly showed me how hard the life a Gibbon is because of a changing world.

One suggestion I would make to the developers is that occasionally the Gibbon will be completely out of view when either walking in certain areas or when swinging in certain areas. This isn’t a huge deal but a slight camera angle change would be nice in those situations.

Love the game and I can’t wait to see what future changes the developers will make. Happy swinging!
Naso tang,
Many things to say about this app
So it starts off with a basic story line to teach you how to swing and jump and stuff. Your in the jungle (beautiful art work by the way). Yet you slowly start to see the forest get ruined. SPOILERS AHEAD: there is a fire that happens and you have to escape then there is one part named “concrete jungle” which shows the gibbons having to use power cables and houses instead if trees. Warning the gibbons get chased and hunted down (they are armed with guns) this part of the story was a little disturbing to me. Yet i did not let is really get to me. After completing this game it made me look up gibbons and research about them. It made me very sad to see how little were left currently. (I sent a small donation to help gibbons) this story was worth it yet the reason i took away the a star was because of the hunters. I recommend this game!

Beautiful
The game is fun and impactful, the animation is spot on and simple, yet complex. It imitates the movement of and actual gibbon and other animals. I would love to see a new story and maybe new character. The story it has and the impact it leaves are powerful. A gibbon losing its mate, though in this game fake, is very true in real life. People tend to think from this that gibbons only experience this but even the game shows many other animals experiencing this. Not only in South America does this happen but also many other continents like Africa, Australia, and Africa. All these countries have beautiful ecosystems that are in harms way because of human greed. But overall this game has led to widespread awareness and fun around the world and maybe should be on the regular apple store for more people to experience.
HydroOtter64,
Please keep up the Eco Games
I grew up when tablets started making game development a more feasible reality for people, and I’ve seen a few different games trying to promote ecological issues. This is the crown heel of those underaged gems. The entire experience is so beautiful, the art style is gorgeous and adorable and I’m so glad that it’s focusing on a species that needs more spotlight. I’m also glad it’s coming to switch. Don’t be afraid to charge what the game is worth on the NS Eshop. Colorful and touching games stick out, and this game will be beloved by switch users.
Igtg but PLEASE keep making eco games like this. We need more attention on species like the gibbon, and there is little better way to get people to care than to have kids play though the lives of cute animals.
4LocoLoki,
Touching, heartbreaking, great mechanics
First of all, the swinging mechanics in this are amazing! For the first twenty or so minutes of gameplay I couldn’t get this huge smile off my face! It then delves into heavier topics of deforestation, human encroachment, poaching, etc that can be applied toward a ton of species. I think it’s a really important game, and the research was done with care to accurately depict what we, as humans, are doing to the precious wildlife of this planet. At the end, the developers even took the time to link you to some charities who dedicate their time and your funds to helping Gibbons, specifically, and to educate you on their plight. I really appreciated this game and hope it finds its way into the hands and hearts of *a lot* of people. It was well worth the small time investment and the tears.

Absolutely incredible!
I downloaded this game thinking “oh swinging around as a pink money sounds like fun” and by all means it was. That was until the game about that same pink monkey took a turn toward the emotional, I won’t spoil anything as to give the trade and true experience that you deserve from this game, but I will say that this game genuinely took a couple simple mechanics and a gorgeous soundtrack and art style and gave me a wake up call like none other. Somehow this game can deliver smooth, enjoyable gameplay and simultaneously leave you aware of a major issue you may have never known existed. Play this game when you have the time to give it the attention to detail it deserves, I guarantee you won’t regret it.
Atoyelohaneeze,
Very lovely, too short
This is a great game and it is wonderful to feel like a free and mobile gibbon flying through the trees. It is not as fun to trod through the burnt sections, cities, palm fields, and the other human-related biomes. I have finished everything and freed all the animals; I wish that at this point there was a way to select which biomes appear in a run, because the wonderful jungle is the best one and it keeps getting interrupted by human nastiness. My awareness is already raised, let me play the game and enjoy the jungle! Also it was nice to try to collect animals and encyclopedia entries, perhaps those could recur indefinitely? I want to be a gibbon forever.
J03LB0B,
A joy to play until…
This game is an undeniable joy to play. It’s fun, calming and fairly simple. Gorgeous art style and simplistic story telling up until the chapter where you are being hunted down and shot at. This to me is not ok and imo is an effective deterrent for me to entirely halt on playing it. Yes I realize that it’s an undeniable fact and horrible truth of the gibbon species and that there are monsters in human form that are hunting these beautiful animals. So, in conclusion… 4 stars. Would have been 5 if I wasn’t so heartbroken and turned off by the hunting aspect. There are more appropriate avenues of making a civilization aware and conscious of this situation. A level in an otherwise enjoyable game is not one of those avenues. That is all.
