Slow burn and captivating story
This game was the definition of a slow burn that was truly worth every second. I am never one to leave reviews for games but this one is completely worth it. I spent days playing this and at first I was losing momentum. Then, pieces of the old man’s past starting coming together and I started to feel his story and where he came from. The journey and levels are unique at every stage and had beautiful graphics. I like that, although very simple, there was some difficulty in the game that challenged me. In the last stage, the ending took me by surprise and left me in tears. Every little piece came together and I realized what the introduction meant and was left in awe of the moral of the story. Amazing work to the game designers, the studio, and everyone who worked on this game. 10/10!!

Bugs? Fixed within hours of my post!
Had bugs so couldn’t play at first. However-
Due to the absolute beauty of the game and the fast response from the devs alerting me to their quick fix I am now LOVING the journey! As someone pretty new to gaming I’m so appreciative of help when it’s offered. Thank you devs. You have a fan for life- and this is the perfect game for me. (I don’t care for shooting people or high stress) so if anyone out there likes unique puzzle games, pastoral aesthetics and relaxation with a bit of melancholy you’ll dig OMJ. I only wish there was a little tutorial but I know I can’t have it all- and it’s likely not necessary for those not new to gaming.
Thanks again to the devs for their fast response and for helping and educating me.

Oh come now……really!!!
Edit: after days of deleting & reinstalling this game I finally realize it was something I didn’t do so I could continue to make progress in the game, so I changed my review to 5 stars.. Oops. Lol
Was enjoying this game until I got to the 3rd chapter from the end. The old man is stuck in the back of the truck. I tried restarting the level, then deleting the app, then reinstalled it, restarted the level again & again AND he’s STILL sitting in the back of that darn truck for hours. It won’t load no matter what I do. PLEASE fix this. I’m getting extremely annoyed now over a game (this is a first for me , lol). I want to finish the game already.

Wonderfully Beautiful and Heartwarming
This game although not interactive is a great puzzle within itself. It makes you think about what the story is right off. Then figuring out how to map the character thru is tough but not hard. Then to top it off you get the moments he sits and ponders about his life and who he met, dated, married, had a family with. Then you see is adventurous side and what happens after. As a dad, and grandfather it is a wonderfully beautiful and heartwarming story. Not to hard and if you stick with it to read the story you will smile at the very end. 5 stars keep more coming or another chapter of the Old Man maybe.

Fantastic
I absolutely adore the graphics, animation and the game play. The way that the graphics and the characters are designed provides a lot to the sheer beauty of the game. I enjoyed the style of gameplay, it was not only a interactive adventure but one that challenges new ways of thinking. If I had to make up a complaint…. It would be that the game play way a tad short. This is to be expected of something so stunning in every way I can think of. I can imagine the amount of love, attention, ability and work went into the game and hope to see many more.

Beautiful, Heartwarming Story
I could not put this game down, I had to finish it the same day and Im currently writing this with tears still in my eyes. The graphics are beautiful, the art is amazing and the colours are stunning. Truly they outdid themself and I’m just talking about design. The puzzle like map keeps you involved the entire time and you get to see a beautiful story from start to finish. Not a single word is needed to understand and the developers and designers in this game did such a great job! So happy, I wish I could play this game again for the first time.

The first game that I ever played it from beginning to end
I’ve played a lot of games but this is one that I absolutely could not put down it was so interesting and I’ve never seen a game like it it was like a movie and I couldn’t pause it I had to see what was going to happen next it’s a beautiful love story! and I don’t see how anybody could start this game and not finish it I finished it in three evenings I’d say take me about three hours total to beat it I loved it good job guys I can’t wait to see the next one!!!

Beautiful game
The puzzles are simple though they become a little challenging towards the end. More impactful, the storyline and art is beautiful and emotional. It’s a sad story with a bittersweet ending and the way the Old Man’s journey is woven with the gameplay and his memories is both ingenious and elegant. It’s a game that’s soothing to play before bed as the music is also calming when the storyline is increasingly emotionally evocative. The team did an amazing job. This makes me want to write stories for games!

A little glitchy but a beautiful short game
Things were a bit glitchy on my iPhone 14 pro max. The game would just crash if I accidentally shipped up the control shortcuts on my phone while trying to move a Hill. That’s a little frustrating because it wouldn’t save my progress. Otherwise it’s a beautiful game with a nice plot. The illustrations/art are soo nice and calming music as well. Wish it was longer ;)

This was one of my favorite games to play as I dozed off into dream land. The art is vibrant and beautiful while also having a somber yet sweet story. You guys did a great job and I’m really happy you didn’t drag it out. The ending was such a great conclusion. I appreciate the time I spent playing this and look forward to any other games you may come out with. Keep the stories coming 🖤
