About the Game:
Your journey starts at the charming Hirschalm ski resort, nestled in the heart of the Alps. Strap on your skis or snowboard and head to the lift while picking up the basics like turning and jumping. After taking the lift up to Almhütte you get to try your first slalom challenge.
Completing challenges earns you Ski Passes, which unlock ski lifts that take you to new parts of the mountain.
As you advance, you'll need to tackle a variety of challenges, like slalom, slopestyle, ski cross, and big air.
Simply perfect carving turns won't cut it – you must also practice tricks, rails, and drops to conquer the challenging courses.
Don't forget to head into the backcountry areas to discover hidden challenges and secret Ski Passes.
But be careful – outside the groomed runs, there are bears, wolves, avalanches, falling trees,
and other hazards waiting for you!

Gorgeous and really fun but needs a bit more polish
Absolutely beautiful graphics and sound. Gameplay is awesome. Only a couple things needed to really make it perfect. First, the camera could be better - I'd like to be able to zoom in even closer (on my iphone 13 pro max, so things are small), and camera doesn't rotate quickly enough - in fact, it would be nice if there was a semi-fixed camera that always pointed some angle downhill (based on player direction), so that even when you turn your skier around to face uphill, the camera is still pointing downhill. There are times when I've struggled to try to get facing and moving the right way, especially when amongst rocks or netting/fencing, but had trouble because the camera faced uphill (and I couldn't get a good enough idea about which way to go - just confusing). The other thing is the flags - they don't stand out nearly enough, especially when the run goes through the trees! Maybe just make them bigger!

No Backbone Controller support? (Yet?)
UPDATE: Developer notified me on 8/8 that Backbone Controller support is coming in the next update! Welcomed news as I begin trading for actual snowboard season!
I was amped for this to come to Apple Arcade because it’s a beautiful game, but as other reviewers mentioned, Backbone controller support is lacking. (Left shoulder buttons, for example, not detected.) Had big hopes for this one, but without controller support it’s off to the digital dustbin. Disappointing for a premiere Apple Arcade game.

A fun throwback
As a person that played a lot of the top-down gameboy ports of extreme sports games, this game was a pleasant dose of nostalgia with some nice modern elements. It has the same feel of stringing together moves as you fly through a level. I like that each level is a sort of open world to explore. The ability to move the camera is also an appreciated improvement on games of old. The touch controls were nice and responsive for me as well. Though the ski pole thing took a little getting used to.

Most fun and complete arcade game
This is the best snow sports game I’ve ever played, and that dates back to 1080 snowboarding on N64. Every fun aspect of freestyle, park and big mountain skiing is turned into a casual game with intuitive controls. There is so much content, and you can do it all on skis or board. It on both iPad and iPhone. The camera angles are flexible enough, and the crazy, obscene aspects of snow sports like doing 70m drops with a 1440 are there just enough to have fun, but don’t overtake the entire game.

Transfer issue
Is there a way to transfer my data from the original game to the arcade version please I have so much progress on the original one but I can’t transfer it. Btw both of my accounts on both versions are Game Center

Broken Controller Input
Just like the non-Apple Arcade version, this game does not support controllers well at all. I’m using a BackBone One (MFi) controller, and experiencing glitches when turning left and right.
It appears that the developer is not implementing (correctly?) the native API’s and/or MFi mappings. To be clear, this is something that has improved from the original release (as they have since added explicit support for various controllers), but still misses the mark and confuses me. You don’t need to make controller specific changes if you are using the native iOS features.

BEST GAME EVER (plz add more maps <3)
Getting straight to the point. As a snowboarder/skier, this game is beautiful. The mechanics are so smooth, and all the maps are amazing! I bought the original 2021 expansion before you guys got on Apple Arcade, and have beat the game twice! It never gets boring.

LOVE THIS GAME!
This is such an awesome game! Great graphics, nice controls, pleasing aesthetics! The camera angle can get annoying sometimes but it usually works out. Everything about this game is A+! I can tell they took pride and patience in making this game. I will definitely be getting it on steam as well !

Addicting and frustrating
Beautiful graphics and addicting challenges, but the more advanced you get the more frustrating the controls and camera angles are. Some camera consistency during challenges would be welcome.

This app is okay
If there was an Apple TV app for this game, I would absolutely love that because skiing using a touch controls is awful. sure I could synchronize an Xbox controller to my phone but I wanna play this game on a big screen so I can see everything, and where I’m going and what not. please find a way to get this on the Apple TV.
