Has Potential, Many Problems
First of all, the game doesn’t have a difficulty setting for new players. How does it expect me to guard an AI with double the speed my player has. Second, the defense is so stupid. Make it so your teammates will help on defense if it is clear that a one on one isn’t going to work. Make it so if your player is crossed and the offense drives to the rim, the center of power forward might help, like a good basketball game would have. Third, the shooting is not consistent. I can shoot a straight grey ball from three with two on me and score, but miss a green layup wide open. Nothing else I need to stay about that problem. Fourth, the stealing is like it was coded by someone who thinks tormenting people is a hobby. If you try stealing ONCE on defense, you trip and the offense is already in the paint throwing up lob city like they are the clippers. But, when the AI tries stealing the ball off of you, and you CLEARLY crossed them, the ball goes rolling and the 80mph inhumane robot runs and grabs it, just to score the most stupid points ever. How is that fair? The AI can cross me with the press of a button, but to cross the AI means that I would need a cheat menu. The list of problems could go on. The problems I said are just the main ones. There are more, like the free throw ratio between AI and me, the fact that AI can set picks and I cannot, etc. If you want this game to go somewhere, fix all of these problems first.

Addicting but needs some fixes
Genuinely love the art style, gameplay, and overall concept of the game. I just had some issues with the shot meter. Implementing a expanding or shrinking green region for the shot meter that would guarantee that the shot goes in would be a lot more fun. Since defense and offense utilize the same buttons, it would also be helpful to change the button names when on defense or offense. Stealing the ball isn’t an issue, but it is nearly impossible to block a shot or even jump without fouling the other team. Also, when changing players on defense, it can be difficult to change to the player closest to the ball and it takes a couple of taps to get to the player I actually want to use, and by then, the other team has already scored. Other than these aspects, I seriously love picking up a quick game whenever I have the chance. Can’t wait to see what the fully released version looks like!

A fun game just a couple of problemz
I really like playing this game honestly its really fun its just a couple things that are annoying. Firstly the shooting is really inconsistent, I can shoot a 63% Green and make the shot but another time miss it to me makes no sense. I think you should make it so if its a hard shot (40% or lower) You should make the green window smaller and make easier shots higher, Because the % System is really lackluster and it makes no sense at all, it should be if you green it will go in no matter thats what because that is what people expect when they shoot a shot on the green window. You did this perfectly in hoop tactics where a green goes in all the time so i think you should do the same thing in hoop land. Last problem which is probably the main problem i find is the defense is really bad. It seems like your contests do not work at all and with no way to put your hands up only thing you can do is jump and that still won’t work. Also for some reason your players run zone like all the time so when the ai passes they all ways have a wide open shot which is a little annoying. Other than that the game is beautiful, Amazing dribbling, Love the atmosphere of the game, The league import is beautiful. I understand the game is still a bets so please just take your time.

love the game so far. huge improvement from hoop league tactics. i think the only thing that holds it back is how absurdly fast the characters move. if u move ur thumb too far for a second then ur at the other side of the court. please add a slider that controls player speed so that people can play at a slower pace. also, in the league mode, please add more detail to the trading mechanics (trading draft picks, multi-player trades, 3 way trades, etc). it would also be nice to have more flexibility with leveling players up, instead of cutting them off at age 30. i want to be able to add to my players attributes and skills for their entire career. one last thing, please increase the draft variety. having only one round of the draft feels so dry and pointless. it would also give more depth to the teams. thank you for an amazing video game and please take my suggestions in mind🙏

CPU’s are unstoppable.
The game is very very fun and addicting to play but you can very easily lose it because of how unstoppable the CPU’s best players can become. It doesn’t make sense how the CPU’s get help defense when they get beat or anything like that but my team does not and it allows easy points for them and makes it unfair. The 4.5-5 star players literally DO NOT MISS even when it’s a contested shot and you’re closing out all the way on them but they make it every time. Lastly, please fix the foul calls because it’s very unbalanced. For instance, my player was still coming down off of an early jump from a block (he was in the middle of the paint)and an opposing player who was all the way at the three point line drove to the basket but away from me and still somehow got the foul call. Please fix that.

Game is good but..
The game is good. Offense is very simple and easy, defense takes a lil more skill but its not to hard to play. I got my first block in my first game, and I scored 18 points (which was all of my teams points due to the short game) with the same person and noone could stop him. I hit all my 3s and did not miss one. Just know that all of them was a moving shot other then one. But there is one thing its missing. CAREER MODE. Just like in the other version (hoop league tactics) if that one has career, this one should to. Because this is clearly the better version. Yeah yeah, hoop league tactics is good but not as good as this. Its more realistic. You dont take turns to move. Other then that, this game is good and has alot of potential. Please dont waste it.

Already the best BBall game
Even in Beta, already one of my favorite games. I play Retrobowl, Ice League, basically every retro sports game and this is already one of my favorites. I check the AppStore at least once a week waiting for the season update. Honestly, I don’t need the capability for trades and free agents and all that yet, I just want to play a season. Still, this game is basically the only basketball game done right on the AppStore and I can’t wait to play it more in the future. When is it looking like the next update will drop? I can’t wait.
PS. Koality games are incredible, Ice League and prizefighter are 2 of my most played games and I love the work you’ve done. Keep killing it!

Exciting game with great development team!
The gameplay is a massive improvement from Hoop League Tactics. Very fun to play a full court game
It’s love to see the full version as a combination of Tactics and Hoop Land. Full GM mode with draft, free agency, staff hiring, scouting college + international teams, G-League, etc. I’d love to have the option to play games in spectator mode because I personally love watching my players battle it out against other teams
Having buttons similar to NBA 2k23’s mobile game might help with UX since I forgot some of the tips from the tutorial
If I’m not spectating, I’d love to be able to set different offensive and defensive schemes and plays for my time in-game. Seeing my own team occasionally throw out a zone, double teaming a star player, box and one, etc instead of staying with man to man defense would be awesome since that’s what NBA teams do IRL
It would be great to see different teams with their own play-styles depending on their players and coaches

Best basketball game on the App store
If i went into a coma and woke up in a year one of the first things I would do is see how far hoop land has come. I’ve played a ton of this game both with the default league and a few different custom leagues and i love it! The game play feels great and has a lot of depth. I love games that you can get really good at and this is one of those. What I like most about this game is how much room it has to grow. I’m praying for the addition of 82 game seasons a career mode and more options when it comes to defensive and offensive schemes. 10/10 would recommend

Love it but needs work
I have been playing this game nonstop but it needs some updates. First, in game substitutions don’t work half the time. Second, after the new update the cpu is cheeks. And for when the full game comes out, it would be cool to have a fantasy draft feature for the season. Like there is a draft at the beginning of the season where you pick from the pool of players. Could be cool.
