Wish I had heard of it sooner
I will say this first off, yes the app is in beta, there are still bugs, and small glitches. However, DONT LET THAT PUSH YOU AWAY! I am a participant of the app and the discord, and the response to issues and bugs popping up is almost instantaneous. they have the devs constantly working on the app, usually getting on top of issues instantly for the next update, and they are always looking for ways to fix the small issues that pop up.
Second of all, it is an awesome place to be. You can network, and interact with other streamers and gamers in an effort to grow your own content, or even help them as well. As a streamer, this has taken my outlook on my quality of content to a whole new level, and has also has inspired me to work on taking the bad situations and find the humor in them. I mean, what’s a nice clip of sniper headshots in CoD compare to being able to look back on Outriders and see me running in terror and swearing in fear. One I will always look back on and think how could that have been better, and the other I will always die laughing as I watch because of the memory made in that mission.
I 100% recommend this app. And will continue to do so.

Cool concept
This is still very buggy and videos dont load half the time. I think you guys should make it more obvious if you mute a video for dmca purposes. Make it easier to delete videos i saw the option for a second now i cant find it. Make it so you can post videos in the full screen format for the phone if you can upload through your media anyways. Other than that i did the concept and this is a really cool app

Good concept, needs some polish
1. When opening the app in horizontal mode on an iPad, there are no controls at the bottom of the screen for things like uploading, settings, etc. It must be used exclusively in portrait mode to be able to do anything other than view the live/discover/feed sections. Also, turning from portrait to landscape mode intermittently messes up the layout so that elements like videos are pushed off the side of the screen.
2. Trying to link a Twitch account shows that it involves giving Hover the ability to edit your follows. Why is this permission necessary to link an account? I thought linking an account would populate your feed with content from anyone you follow on Twitch who also uses Hover. But isn't /viewing/ who you follow a differently named permission, and the edit follows permission gives a third party app the ability to follow or unfollow users? I'm not sure I trust a relatively new/obscure app to not use that permission maliciously?
3. A toggle for autoplaying, or at least autoplaying audio, would be great.

Good app needs new features
I use hover and TikTok for both of my gaming vids to share with everyone and really put myself out there. A couple of things that I wish I could see in Hover in the future is the option to save future projects and more option when it comes to editing videos. However, one feature that currently is a hit frustrating is the “edit clip” button that lets you zoom in on certain parts of your video. My gripe with it is that once you commit to it you have to exit it out of the video for it to go back to normal. I really did wish that there was an undo or a delete button when it comes to undoing this feature.

Updated from dev response, thank you for fixing this issue however you lose respect points for lying, opening a review pop and commanding a specific input would take a few hours of deliberate work.
Regardless of the pandering I find this app very fun and actually fairly helpful to small steamers that are simply drown on twitch, a few minor quality of life fixes and ease of use updates that admittedly might just me my lack of familiarity and this app can easily cement itself as the twin program for all streaming, stay ontop of it and don’t give in to the adds, throwing a bunch of ads will yank the system in a month easy

Love Hover! Great for posting game clips and meeting other people. Giving it a 4/5 at this time because sometimes the app won’t open to where it crashes when I try to get on the app. I’m on iPhone 13 Pro. Will give it a 5 till that issue is fixed Update: So far, it looks like the app doesn’t crash when I try opening it but I think there’s a new bug to where I try to select a section for my clips, the app crashes. Hopefully that issue will be fixed soon

Great app, but…
A lot of the times, my videos go through the uploading process just for the video to not post. Even after trying multiple times, videos will not post. It’s not every video but it’s a bit too often.
Also, I find that hashtags don’t work. They’re supposed to turn blue to signify that they are working properly when typing them. The only trick to get them to work on my mobile device is to go back to the previous screen, then forward again to upload. There is no work around when doing this from a computer.

Amazing App
It’s a great app for not only connecting with other streamers but also as a viewer it allows you to possibly meet your new favorite streamer…. I go on there all the time when my homies are not streaming and try and find a new streamer to vibe and hangout with…. Not to mention the owner and management team are very approachable and easy to get a hold of if any issues arise, which some do because it’s still a growing app, 10/10 would recommend #HoverToTheMoon

It's a great start!
i love the idea of this app, i feel like it's also cool to find mutuals in one place. it's a little annoying to use right now though, since it's very buggy. i've posted a few times and i either have issues posting it or the sound gets taken away from my videos, or when i exit out of the app the video i left off on keeps playing?? super weird. anyway, i'm gonna keep it and keep posting, i hope the bugs gets sorted out soon!

Fix the Simple Stuff
Good app and idea but too many bugs. You scroll through feed and previous post audio may keep playing in background while you are looking at other posts. I unfollowed one person for posting too much and they are still in my feed as if i’m still following them. This stops me from seeing my friends posts and new posts by people i follow cause i don’t feel like scrolling through their 50 posts in 2 days to do so. Overall high hopes for the app but it needs a lot of work.
