Humana Military Hack 2.5.3 + Redeem Codes

I read a lot of bad reviews, yet almost all reviews states what the app just does not do and what everyone expects the app to do. I downloaded the app with no issues and was able to get the information I needed based on the the app description states the app does. Now, I do wish the app did more but just how the app is developed and the information it provides it’s good for me. For this reason I give it three stars. If the app did more then I would probably give it the five starts.

This is a great application. It works well, the user interface is intuitive, easy to navigate and matches what you’re used to seeing on the website. Works seamlessly with the DS Login system (which seems like a miracle based on every other DOD sponsored app.)

App devs, if you’re reading these reviews, thanks for a job well done. I’ve tried a lot of DOD sponsored apps and 95% fail to meet the mark due to lack of integration with existing systems. Bravo!

Good luck trying to find a covered dentist using phrases like “general dentist “ dentist or anything, because I pulled up none of them in the search browser, I actually had to call dentist’s in my area. Then came primary care, what a nightmare. The creative department for this app needs to add some more key phrases options for people looking to find a doctor for their specific needs instead of having to play a guessing game on what words to search in the app. Online is even worse. 23 years of military service and a veteran has to crack open an old school phone book for a doctor because the app for his insurance company is absolutely worthless.

iPhone 11 max, app works fine. Logged right in with existing DS Logon and was able to view all family except my spouse, just like using the browser on my PC. App is missing a lot of useful functionality and won’t be very useful, but it does what the description states.

Two suggestions: 1) secure messaging and 2) Add an insurance card compatible with Apple Wallet. Even Express-Scripts has this and it really helps at most civilian pharmacies.

I’m reviewing this as a patient and as a clinician for Humana Military. This app is very difficult to access. I wasn’t able to register a user name and password. So, I tried to access through my DS Logon. When I accessed the portal/app, the information kept freezing. I tried several times and even changed my password even when I didn’t have to and shouldn’t have had to.

I tried to search for neurosurgery specialty, the only item that piped up was “pediatric neurosurgery”. I have to search this as “neurological surgery” to find adult neurosurgeons.

Only registered civilian network provider profile is found.

Definitely one of the worst Apps I’ve downloaded. I wish I could say I’m surprised, but working with the military for an entire career I’ve come to expect this type of poor quality work. Very limited capability. Allows you to view the EOB in PDF format, but doesn’t provide anyway to print or download???? Payment pages take you to links that require additional login (why have an app if it is really just an internet link??). No chat capability for service, just makes you call Humana and wait on the phone forever. Humana reps don’t service the App, so they can’t help or take inputs for the App. Glad to see my tax dollars being wasted.

I have had my Humana account for many years. Finally decided to download the app for convenience. Unfortunately, the app didn't recognize my login. My account locked out. Went online with my PC using the Humana web site. Updated my account password and successfully logged back into the web site. Went back to the app and tried to log back into my account with the app using my new password. Still no go! The only thing I can think is that the app doesn't like my user name. Not changing my account to use this app. Removing the app from my phone.

Not sure what everyone is complaining about, the app is very basic and extremely simple to use. It shows every single claim I’ve ever made, allows for payments to be made etc. literally took me no time at all to figure out how to use the app! I haven’t had to use the search feature yet but it truly can’t be that difficult...

As the military claims to be on the cutting-edge, systems like this Ap are lagging behind what is on the market. If this ap was designed like MyChart it would be so much better. There is no FaceID login option and having to enter your DS login each time is a real pain. The ap itself doesn't seem to give you the functionality needed to see your documents and correspondence when it comes to claims. Are we surprised? No. Will it ever get better? Probably not. Hopefully senior leaders that have influence and contractual oversight stumble across reviews. Probably won't improve. This is what we got.

I would rate this app zero stars if I could. If you can log into the Humana Military web portal, then you should be able to download this app and log in with it. Nope. Doesn’t work. If there are additional steps that need to be taken to get access to your account through the app, then please explain it. Why build an app that most can’t log into? Read the other reviews, many others have the same issue. I have a password manager, it isn’t an incorrect userid or password, it’s an app issue.
