Rufus is a Pawn between two warring Roman gods. For Rufus to gain control of his own fate and to get revenge, he has to start at the bottom and fight his way through a series of increasingly difficult tournaments in different locations. You play Rufus and you are his destiny!
You attack from different angles based on easy to use screen gestures and controls. You can also string together combos when you swipe continuously (like in a figure-eight pattern) until you run out of stamina. Swiping down kicks your opponent in the gut, knocking him down if unblocked and giving you a breather. Holding down the shield button can parry incoming attacks, while holding and swiping allows you to dodge anything that can't be blocked.

Great, but...
The game is awesome! But the fact that once you get to the eleventh or so level that require better equipment for you to complete, you really have to depend on multiplayer for silver. Which would be awesome, except for the fact that there is no real balancing. Being a level 2 or 3 on a mobile device facing off with level 10's on steam (computers) ((which are most likely hacking)) makes it EXTREMELY hard to earn anything. But again, great game!

I actually enjoyed the game play a lot BUT! y’all are definitely on the greedy side and the only reason I’m giving it a 5 star is so people see this review but it’s for sure a pay to play kinda game. when you play story mode you won’t make enough money to buy ANYTHING good and when you beat missions you can go back and replay BUT! You can’t get the money again from said missions so you have no option but to actually spend your real money to upgrade. On top of that the weapons armor etc are EXPENSIVE! I’m talking 20 to 50 bucks easily. The online is hot trash it’s a fun game but ruined by greedy people oh to top it off the equipment you bought with your actual money you can’t use in online only story.

Good but with many problems
So don’t get me wrong I love this game. But it is not fair it crashes and it is very buggy. On certain levels you are timed but the enemies are way to overpowered. I know this game has not been updated it 5 years but it is still super buggy. And it crashes after I fail beat a level etc. it is a good game though I think you should get it

Yea it’s a fun game but they had another version it was 3d and was way more fun and there was like 90 or 100 levels and you got to fight giants and warriors and was really fun so if you could bring the game back it would be really cool and it was made by the same company that made this game but all I’m asking is to bring the game back please

A great gladiator mobile game
I, gladiator is a great game to play. Great story line that I played so far. Easy mechanics.
But… the master hits are the only thing that I can’t seem to grasp. I don’t know if it is my fault (it probably is… I can’t seem to time it just right). I wish there was something to that like in Ryse: Son of Rome’s execution where you have to match the color that surrounds the opponent’s body.

Great game so far,
The only problem is it’s kinda old (it runs great and graphics honestly look cool and there alright). I’m scared of it going out of date and not being playable like an old game I loved called blood and glory, this game reminds me of blood and glory so if you’ve play that this one might be for you.

Keeps crashing but still a good game
Don’t get me wrong. I love this game as much as the next guy but every time I press the continue button or restart it keep crashing and send me back to my home screen tell this is a good game and I would recommend it to anyone that hasn’t played it.

Amazing
This game was hiding in my large pile of apps that I mindlessly downloaded not knowing when I would open them. I can now say I am incredibly overjoyed that I finally got around to opening this app up. It is one of my all time favorite iOS games I have ever played. If only more like it existed.

Great game just one problem.
every time I win a level when I press continue it takes me out of the game and brings me to my home screen. I’m getting angry every Time it does it so could you please fix it but other wise really good game good job developers.

I had something good and drove it down with bugs and problems with multiplayer
The game used to be good but y’all wasted it u changed things for no real good reason aside from greed and u have heard more than me about this mainly not being able to earn money from replaying arenas in single player why u did that is beyond me but I think it’s safe to say u ruined a good thing big time
