“iHydrate is great! As a dancer I need to keep hydrated so I don't injure myself. I used to forget about drinking water. Now that I have iHydrate it tells me approximately how much water I need to drink for the day. Now I'm now more conscientious about that amount of water I consume. It's so easy to use. I love the pie chart feature; which shows me my amount of water intake I've had for the day. I appreciate the different drink options, because I like having a variety of juices! It's a great app, I use it so much!”

“I’ve been looking for one of these for a while. And it's so useful that it's on my home screen. I have a very busy schedule and forget to drink water a lot. I've even gone a whole day without drinking before. That being said since downloading iHydrate, I have met my goal every day. I especially like how I can calculate for all sorts of drinks, and I've noticed it calculates a percentage of non-water drinks. That's really helpful in helping me see how hydrated I am, when I'm not just drinking water.”

Thank you for all of your feedback and suggestions! We've looked at all of your requests and we've added a bunch of new features all while squishing a few bugs!

This update provides some much needed slider relief with a complete re-haul of the liquid enter screen. Now you can type in your drink amounts, or use one of the four new (and nifty) drink presets. These drink presets can be customized so if you're drinking out of the same water bottle everyday, that amount is right there for you!

We’ve fixed the badge notification bug that was affecting some of our users and we’ve expanded the badge options to include water remaining, water consumed, percent remaining and percent consumed.

Also due to popular demand we've added... (drumroll)... Tea!

A couple more improvements to stability have been added, but we won't bore you with those details.

So enjoy! If you have any other suggestions or ideas, please send us a message at [email protected]. As always, if you like our app, please leave us a review so others can enjoy it too!

Happy New Year!

Spidermanfan99,
Love love love this app!
I have always drank a lot of water, but I wondered how much I was drinking each day and how much I actually needed to drink. iHydrate helped me figure out the perfect amount of water for me to drink each day! The app also allows you to log other drinks such as tea and juice, things I drink when I go out to restaurants. The other drinks also count as your daily intake of liquid which is really great. The way the app is set up makes it really easy to adjust my weight and time I spend exercising as I go from sport to sport. The app allows you to set notifications for a 12 hour period or 24. And for each setting, it notifies you every 3 hours to remind you to drink water! The app's notification (the red circle in the corner of the app on your home screen) is the percent of how much water you have drank that day, which allows you to see it without having to open the app. A circle fills up as you log more water and by the end of the day, you feel extremely accomplished when you see it all filled by the end of the day. I definitely recommend iHydrate.
Grace full,
Really terrific!
Update March 2022-I've tried about 9 hydration apps-can there really be much difference?? Yes!! And this one is the BEST, in my experience. Very pleasing looking & simple to use design. LOVE that I can add custom drinks-none of the others i tried have that! I.e. I use rice milk instead of cows or other subs-now I can see percentages of that AND I used to drink what I thought was small amount of diet soda. Well this clearly & quietly showed me it was way more than I realized. It's remarkable how much better I feel! And no more dehydration! Have tried others but this is my go-to for several years!!.🌷🌿👍🌿💕🌿👏👏👏
InfamousIV,
Amazing app
I have a tendency to forget to hydrate and I end up with horrible migraines because of it. This app makes me drink water regularly and sets goals and I believe it’s the best way for someone like me to put this app on and be reminded via apple watch to drink water. I know it sounds weird to a normal person but I just am not used to drinking water, I am feeling so much better now because of this app. God works in mysterious ways and the technology that’s advancing is helping me. By the way if you haven’t done so, do yourself a favor and get yourself an Apple Watch 4. It’s changed my life for the better.

Awesome App
The app does exactly what it says it does. The HealthKit and Apple Watch integration work as expected. This app fills a gap missed by many nutrition trackers.

It would be a very nice addition for the app to track caffeine intake, which is also missed by most nutrition trackers.

Another great addition would be the ability to create some custom settings for faster logging. For example, I have a 22 ounce water bottle and a 10 ounce coffee cup. If those showed up as favorites in the app and on the Apple Watch and required only a single touch, routine logging would be almost effortless.

Could Be Great But Fatally Flawed
I love the concept of this app and the direct logging to Fitbit-especially the ability to log hydration from liquids other than water!

Unfortunately my praise for this app has to end here. The app stops communicating with Fitbit after 8:30 or so, at which point I have to manually log whatever didn't translate.

After a week or 2 of mostly accurate logging, this app will stop communicating with Fitbit altogether. I will log out and back in and restart my phone. I will have to delete the app entirely and reinstall it, losing each and every setting other than my name and female gender and all of my previously logged history of beverages.

It will start working again, and I'll use it for another 2 weeks before the frustrating cycle starts over again. If the developers can't maintain this app's ability to sync, couldn't they at least devise a way to save the information?!?

If this isn't fixed soon, I will have to leave a negative review and find another app with less potential promise than this one.
Matthew Oles,
Just what I need
I tried this & another, the other celebrated each "drink" better, & I was filling up an image of a person which looked cooler, BUT I couldn't stick with that one, I loved THIS Hydration water tracker the most! The daily ounces of water goes high enough (the other didn't) I can easily tap the button that had my saved cup size for fast logging! It saves my history. the different pictures for the bottles are very pleasing. The reminder intervals are superior to the other! I Love it!
cldillon90,
Not bad, but very frustrating.
I like a lot about this app. It’s fairly easy to add in your water/tea/coffee and to a decently accurate amount and time of day too. The graph is handy and it’s easy to edit entries. I like the pie chart showing where you’re getting your water from too. I gave it three starts because twice now I e taken the time to go in and make my own set of reminders and as soon as I close the app it kicks them out and replaces them with its standard original four reminders. Very frustrating. Otherwise it would be at least a 4. Not happy certain things are behind another pay wall too, like making your own drinks.
Bradley Wit,
Works for me
This app is awesome! After the first few days of using it I saw how much soda I was really drinking versus water. It upset me! So I started drinking more water, and as I did, I used the app less, kept less track, got off soda completely, and now every time I want something to drink my instinct is to grab water. I'm still keeping the app on my tablet because it's a great reminder every time I scroll through my screens, I see it, and remember to drink water.
Mr Toner,
Turned off
Although iHydrate has one feature that I really like, one it seems no other hydration tracker has — the ability to *edit* the date/time of an entry — the fact that it takes four taps to enter a preset drink turns me off.

I'm also boggled that even though the app has Health integration, it doesn't take full advantage of that. If it reads Water data, it should update itself with entries I've made from another app, like MyFitnessPal. And by accessing age, gender, and weight data, my daily goal could be updated automatically.

I am looking forward to this app becoming easier to use.
Jacke Baker,
Can't be better
Have been using this app for a week and a day now and already I feel the difference. Firstly it calculates how much water I need each day and it's more than the average so that's good to make sure I am actually sufficiently hydrated. Then gives great reminders throughout the day with the percentage of my daily goal which helps me to gauge if I need to drink more in one go if it gets late. I could say way more about this app ;)
