Mannnnnnnnn,
Very slow to load and missing exercises
I’ve noticed after all the updates they’ve done in the last month the app is now really slow to load. Now all of a sudden if I click on the Train portion there are no exercises listed below and it is telling me they couldn’t find anything, when last week there were plenty now there’s zero. They really need to upgrade this app and make it load faster, and their contact via chat is a joke, as I tried to chat with them two or three times and it won’t even let let me send. When I click on the send button it pops up the photo attachment and some other item & wouldn’t let me send. If they’re going to charge for this they really need to fix it.
mahara91,
Hands down the worst app I’ve ever used.
I don’t know where to start other than I regret even buying the bike that requires the app. It constantly shuts off mid ride, it logs me out randomly and says my password is incorrect then works after 3 tries, if I switch to another app for a moment during a ride (text messages etc) it’ll just stop tracking my progress in the free-ride feature, every single update seems to make things worse? The actual distance tracker has changed since I’ve bought the bike. For about a year I was around 5 miles in 18 minutes and now I can do 8 miles in 15 minutes. I’d like to say it’s because I’ve gotten stronger but it literally happened overnight with a new update they pushed. The least of the issues but... the way they film their strength classes makes all the trainers look like they’re prisoners earning their freedom by creating workout videos. It’s not the trainers fault it’s Inspire’s poor/failing attempt at competing peloton that’s making it just seem sad. Your downloading this app because you probably bought the cheaper version of peloton bike (honestly, smart move) so there’s not much I can say other than good luck.
Dream27web,
Login needs work but content is great!
In order to login or establish an account you have to go to their website on a computer or through a web browser on your phone. Initial set up can’t be don’t through the app itself. However, this isn’t a big deal to me and the video content and options are great. I’ve only used the “Free Weights” videos they are 20min and I’ve enjoyed every one I’ve tried so far. I am definitely sore days after doing a workout. “Buns and Guns” is one of my favorite series so far. I do not need or want cardio as I’m not looking to lose weight but rather tone up. This offer exactly that. (There are a lot of cardio videos as well though).
SL - Baton Rouge,
Absolutely Terrible!
Have had the IC 1.5 cycle and app for about 10 months. Worked great until the latest update 5.2. When communicating with customer service / tech support for Inspire Fitness / Sunset Swings and telling them that the cycle was basically useless without the app, the response (Hector) was - “You can still use the bike without the app. It works perfectly fine without the app. The app just allows you to view the stats and videos.” Replied - What is the point if having an exercise bike with 0 stats? The response - “I’m not sure. I’m just informing you that the bike can still be used with out the stats. The bike pedals and gets resistance without the app.” My guess is he (Hector) thought I couldn’t figure that out! So if you are looking to spend between $600 and $1,000 for a cycle without stats and videos then Inspire Fitness is the way to go!
KKJSBF,
Great bike, terrible App!
I really like my bike, works great and no issues. The app on the other hand is a different story. -It takes forever to connect to the Bluetooth! Sometimes it won’t even connect at all. -The class will pause mid-ride and in order to get it back and working I have to close out the app and fast forward to where I was. -Constantly logs me out - Stats will stop working mid ride as well, and once again I have to close out of the app entirely and find where I was. My free subscription I have when I purchased my bike is now up (didn’t get any notification about this either found out trying to do a class) and I won’t be purchasing the app. I love the classes and instructors (Tyler and Rachel are my favorite!) but with all the glitches it’s not worth to pay for it. I hope one day it will all be fixed!
Jim from Omaha,
Wow this is extremely buggy software
Choose a workout from the training … you see the list of exercises, each with a small video.

Start the workout, and the videos that were available before you started are gone. Some generic “video coming soon!” placeholder on top. The videos were visible tho before you start the workout! So then you have to exit/pause the workout, back on the main workout screen, view the video, then restart the workout, resuming where you left off… ???

Also during workouts - you’re asked to enter reps and how many pounds. I assumed that if I do 15 reps of 70 pounds that you’d enter that - but no? If you enter that way, at the end of the workout it’ll tell you you lifted a total of 70 pounds. So I guess you’re supposed to do the math and enter 15 reps 1050 pounds? Why???????
Zombiehater4life,
Started out great…. Now it’s horrible!
I got my Inspire bike in September of 2020 from Costco…. And I loved it! The app had excellent workouts and great instructors and I ended every workout surprised with just how good of a workout I got. A couple months ago I started experiencing issues with the app - I would have to login every time I went to work out… it wasn’t storing any of my workouts…. These issues were just little annoying things but then the playback on the app became HORRIBLE. It would randomly stop and start throughout a class… and that SUCKED! After reaching out to Inspire and going back and forth trying to reach a solution I finally took the bike back to Costco this morning. I’ll be sad to not workout with my favorite instructors anymore… but the issues within the app made the bike itself unusable! BEWARE!
racrans,
Has potential But..
I’ve only used the app two times now on an older iPad and it crashed both times during the workout, next time I’ll try just my phone and update. Couple immediate observations, I’ve been spinning/cycling for years and have enjoyed my two on demand workouts so far on the 1.5. I wish.. the app shared workout data with my Apple health app. It would be real nice to have multiple profiles, my wife isn’t going to have another subscription but all workouts now go on one calendar. How about the ability to add some comments on our fitness log. Heart rate monitor compatibility? Seems so basic. I’m excited and want to like this bike, will update.
Drewcious,
Can’t sign into app
Nowhere on the app can you create a new account so I went onto the website and created an account. I also updated my info and changed my password. I’ve tried to sign into the app now numerous times info to be told my email is not recognized. Yes, I verified my account. My wife used this app after a one year free trial with the purchase of their stationary bike. She used it for one week before deleting it and paying for the peloton app due to constant crashes and low budget “trainers” on their videos.

So one star because I can’t access the dumb thing. They sure can push pop up messages though! Financing is available at $3500!! Work on the little things first guys. Hopefully your functional trainer and bike is a better product than your app.
Mack TR,
Great Bike
I got this Inspire IC 1.5 from Costco recently. It’s one of the most comfortable spin bikes that I have ever used. I loved the Keiser M3 at my gym and thought that was the best, but after using Inspire IC 1.5, I felt the real comfort. I could ride it for hours without feeling any discomfort from the seat. My twelve-year-old daughter loves it too. The bike can be easily adjusted to any rider's size without much effort. The app works perfectly with my iPhone connecting with the built-in Bluetooth. I could join group spin classes or ride at my own pace with the easy-to-use app. This is a great product!.
