IOSU! Hack 1.0 + Redeem Codes

A big problem is that a song will starts and play for a few seconds and no notes will pop up until slightly after, causing to to miss some notes in the beginning no matter what. Also, instead of 4k drumrolls that go back and forth the patterns are a lot less fun as they are turned into drumrolls on the same note over and over.

First of all, this is a great app, I love that I can play custom songs like this, and overall the app itself is pretty good. There are 2 things though that would make this app a 5 star. A: Songs start at the wrong time. Basically whenever you start a level, sometimes the notes will start underneath the area where you are supposed to click making a full combo impossible. B: Deleting songs via the website doesn’t work. One other thing that would be nice to see would be a score system instead of just letter grades, so you could more precisely beat high scores. Otherwise great game.

I think the overall concept is great and uploading custom songs is both really easy and really neat. The auto mapping is quite good and I don’t think much improvement is needed there. I would like to see some minor changes though: adding hit-sounds of any kind would be help immensely, adding a bit of delay between when you press play and when the song starts (like actual osu!), and better support for phones with a notch (move down health bar, song progress, and adjust the menu so they’re actually visible). Awesome concept but needs to be streamlined.

After playing this game I will say that for the most part it does a very good job of emulating the beatmap files. One issue I noticed though was that the delay usually found in-game on osu! that occurs right before the notes start to appear is not included in this game as such some maps have a tendency to immediately start once prompted. This can be annoying as the player is forced to restart the song in order to hit the notes at a moments notice.

The main part of the game I enjoy the most is that you port .osz files (executables for other rhythm games on PC) into this.

However, the main problems I have include:
Hit registration - Seems inconsistent at times
Bar skin - I even play on bar most of the time (Yugen skin), but it is rather difficult to read especially for trills; you can’t change it either
Fail system - The hit registration makes it rather difficult to even pass regular maps so not being able to have a “no fail” setting on to never stop when the bar reaches 0 is not very fun

Otherwise, getting into the game is really easy and simple granted you already have the .osz files.

Um i really enjoy the idea of the game, but- the reaction of notes was off. For example- I’d hit the note, but because my finger would be just slightly off, not even by a lot, it would count as a MISS. I mean- i guess that’s fine, but you really need to know where your finger is landing before hitting. I honestly wouldn’t try to play this game unless you have prior experience in playing rhythm games (and probably don’t play on a ohone with 5x5 😝).

So this game is great. You can play with 4 keys, a board thingy, and 7 keys. You can also up the speed. One thing I would request is the ability to add mp3 or mp4 files and chart your own songs on mobile. I don’t know if this is possible but I would like to see it happen :D

The way to add songs is tedious. osu!manía songs can be downloaded from the website. You should be able to just download them straight from the phone. You should also be able to download skins and stuff. Finally my biggest complaint is that the game is stuck in portrait mode. My fingers aren’t small enough to play like normal. It forces me to play thumbs. At that point I’d just play piano tiles.

Game is probably one of the best mania esc games on mobile I’ve seen given that you can use .osz files for maps, although I would love to see either maybe custom skins or a default circle, arrow, and diamond skin maybe? And idk if this is asking too much but a global ranking system would be kinda cool, I’m not a game designer though so idk how hard that is to implement.

The only free app on the app store that does anything like this, but it can use a lot of work. The HP drain is way too harsh and the LNs and combo rush on mania are really broken. It can have a lot more features like no fail, or song rates (1.1, 1.2, etc.) As of now the game still needs a lot of work, if these improvements are made it would definitely be 5 stars.
