Now with a barcode scanner, but the United States and Canada are the only countries requiring manufacturers to provide iron content in the Nutrition label, so the data may not be available elsewhere in the world using the barcode. Revised "How to use the app" instructions highlighting that the barcode scanner will probably only be useful for users in the United States and Canada, and that users from other countries will find it more useful to find a best fit from the app's 325+ database of foods and beverages and can add in their own foods if they have an iron content for them. App Preview 2 has been revised to highlight this.

Also you no longer need to add your own branded or other foods not in the app database — instead record them as "iron" (provided in the app) and add the iron content on the packaging.
