Journeys in Middle-earth Hack 1.5.6 + Redeem Codes

I’m enjoying this companion app very much! Might I make some suggestions as someone who also played the living card game and thought the same for that game: it would be great to have an update that overhauled some of the visuals and audio in the app. Perhaps when an enemy appears, besides just the description have some cool art (even if still art) and some neat audio effects. Maybe when searching a cairn or bush have a nice image/art pop up too. When attacking after entering values perhaps have a nice quick animation of a hero or enemy swinging a weapon....basically some nice visuals/audio to go along with each descriptive element.

Finally, I think it would be good when the players decide who’s turn is next, to have a portrait button on the app to press so the app knows who is going next. This way it can know if someone can’t attack ranged because gimli is selected, etc. or to know when someone has exhausted their 2 actions for that round, etc.

All in all very good but I think can be improved greatly with some really nice artwork and audio as descriptions pop up.

I love this game, and the app is amazing. It really is genius and makes this game unlike anything I’ve played before. Here are a few things I’d like to see:
-More campaign options. This was actually a huge disappointment. The game is expensive, so to play 13 adventures and then be finished with the campaign, with no other campaigns available, is kind of a bummer. Yes we will go replay Bones of Arnor with new characters again and it will be different and fun, but still, there should be more options for a game that’s nearly $100. I know another will be coming out to purchase, but it seems like it should have started with 3-4 available.
- I love the narrator at the beginning and end of the campaign. I would love it if there was an option to have the narrator read the flavor in each adventure
- There is no way that I can find to “undo” or go back to reread something that just happened. There were a few times we skipped over something too quickly, or hit a wrong button, then couldn’t go back.
- An option to keep the screen awake would be nice.
-The “chronicle” button on our app doesn’t work in some adventures, but does in other. It just sort of crashes and closes the app when we try to go to it.

Again, the app is amazing and as far as I know, really unique. Since it’s so new I hope a couple of these things get taken care of!

Sooo... the game is awesome. FFG has come up with an amazing game, very impressive. The app helps to reinforce the Middle-earth theme with great graphics and immersive but unobtrusive audio track (including both music and ambient sounds of nature).
Normal when I open a new FFG game I expect it to be very rules-heavy and complex. Not the case here! With just a little bit of patience I was able to get my 10 y.o. Playing this very easily.
Suggestions- On the player cards each Stat Icon has a specific shape and a unique color. The app, when instructing you to make a skill test, only displays the Stat’s *shape* displayed in white. It would make it much easier to quickly identify which stat to use if the app displayed it in the corresponding color. Easy fix that could really make things less confusing for new players.

Plenty of people have covered this game so I thought I might reach the developer here about the stickers. They're beautiful but only the ring has a transparent background which makes them more difficult to use. It's generally fine if you want to use one at a time but I enjoy using multiple stickers together or a single person or character pasted to a text message. The design of these makes most of these be standalone only. I'd love to see background and characters separate (while still offering the originals) and I'd happily buy them.

We really enjoy the game and the app.
The person who gave it to us believed the voiceover was included.
But ONLY THE CAMPAIGN INTRO has narration.
Please add narration to all the pop up dialogs!!
The game is cumbersome without it.
Narration for searches and interactions would be great too, but at least narrate the dialog boxes.

The game also needs a way (list) to see the info revealed during an adventure. There’s no way to ‘scroll back’ if we forget what we read, or accidentally close a dialog window.

We love the game. Please add those two things!!!

This is my absolute favorite game, it is excellently designed, strategic, perfectly challenging, fantastical and so much fun to play! It excellently incorporates the lord of the ring’s theme and has phenomenal gameplay. My only suggestion is to make it so the save data can be linked with an account that can be accessed in the app through multiple devices so that it is not only locally stored and gone forever if you get replace your device or want to play on your computer instead of your phone. If this was added it would be absolutely perfect!

This is an amazing game! This would be a perfect game for a lord of the rings fan. One of my favorite parts is you can pick your choice on what to do, which is what make it so cool! I’m glad they added the background music too, for some reason it makes me really imagine what‘s happening. I hope I can buy the actual game some day. Though I am still learning this app, it’s very fun! C: Also, a lot of the game rely on your imagination, which is why I like it, but you may think it is boring if you don’t expand your imagination.

This is an awesome board game, and I genuinely hope that Fantasy Flight is investing a significant portion of its R&D budget to more app assisted board games. This makes the game experience far more entertaining and immersive. It also bridges the experience for game players who are not are as hardcore as other gamers.

That being said, the app could use some features. Namely:

- Could we have the ability to rename saved games?

- Could we associate character players with actual game player names? To keep multiple campaigns straight?

- Could we export saved games so other people could continue a campaign on another device?

- Could we have the campaign sync to a cloud service? Like iCloud or Dropbox?

- It would be satisfying to have victory or defeat animations after you complete an adventure.

Been playing for many months with friends and it’s a ton of fun! Great mechanics and gameplay as well as a decent story. I’ve played the app versions of Descent and Imperial Assault and I love both of those, but this has some very unique features and very fun gameplay that make it more than worth checking out!

We have played three missions now and the app has crashed five times will playing the third mission.

Also, why isn’t there a save and continue option? Could you also make the banner icons a little bigger. I’m using an 11 inch display and it is difficult to see them. Can you make it were your campaign can be loaded on different devices?
