Description

Over seventeen thousand completely free Kakuro puzzles! Access a practically unlimited library of challenging logic puzzles!

Kakuro is a numbers puzzle that plays like a cross between Sudoku and a crossword puzzle. Utilize logic and the process of elimination to place digits in columns and rows such that their sum matches their clues and no digit is placed twice within any column or row.

Kakuro Endless contains over seventeen thousand full free puzzles, displayed within an aesthetically pleasing and easy to use game board. It features zooming for easier play, pencil marks for making notes within cells, and a hide-able cheat sheet that displays digit combinations for tricky sums.

rradarr,
Excellent and free
A very nice collection of right-sized puzzles—big enough to be interesting, but not so big as to be tedious or hard to work on. The interface is clean, elegant, and mercifully free of gratuitous animations. If a square has more than one value then they are guesses (valid options), if just one value that is your answer. You can also double-click a number to make it the answer. I do wish it had undo, as it is easy to change the wrong square by accident. But for free I am not complaining. My favorite of the Kakuro apps I tried (at any price).
BaileyGracey,
I love it!! Best Kakuro app EVER!!
I love everything about this app. The simplistic, clean layout is aesthetically pleasing. Operating the game is easy and functional. It is everything that I am looking for in a puzzle to calm my mind. At first, I thought some of the puzzles were unsolvable, it is both challenging and calming, at the same time. If there was a daily hint or something to get through the most difficult puzzles, I would gladly spend money on this app.
Slowmar Balsitá,
fun time burner that taught me some number logic
just wish there were sound effects and bgm or something. Also an undo button would be nice because sometimes i make a mistake and would like to just undo until i get back to before i made the mistake to save myself the hassle.

besides that this game introduced me to kakuro puzzles and it is my fav kind of puzzle to solve now lol. id love to see my times recorded and compare them with my girlfriend and friends to see who can solve them faster or with fewest number of notes or something.

Fun game, but a few adjustments could help
I’ve gotten bored of regular sudoko so this is a very fun alternative especially since the rules are very different. I think the app could be improved by highlighting the noted numbers when you select a square with notes on it. Also the hint “row:” and “column:” indicators are very useful, but it would be more satisfying and easier on the eyes if the “row:” numbers started just above the “column:” numbers instead of a few characters to the left as they are now
Asher Leggett,
Good game
Large amount of puzzles is great, especially with no ads. Only thing i would want changed is the way the game does notes, it would be much more helpful if the notes feature could be toggled on and off. The current notes feature is understandable, but not intuitive.

BAD
I don’t get all these nice comments to be honest, don’t get me wrong the idea of this game is SO interesting, but the gameplay is terrible, bigger puzzles are too small my eyes hurt after playing, the hint button only works if you’ve got everything right (which I clearly wouldn’t need help if I could) and even when I follow the hints completely the numbers go wrong! it’s so frustrating, and you won’t know were you did wrong and the only solution is to reset the whole puzzle which you’ve put lots of time on it, I couldn’t have any fun honestly
SolveThisNeedUpdate,
Awesome game, can be better
Awesome game, great visuals.

It would be better if you can add rotation skill to the app. For iPad I’d like to play with longer side on bottom.

And also it’d be perfect if there is a undo function in case where you want to get back the point easily without you starting over especially for large puzzles.
HoveringWeasel,
Good for the price but...
This is a nice little app for doing small Kakuro puzzles but there is no variation in size or difficulty. Because of this, having 1000+ puzzles has no meaning as they are all so similar. Would be nice if the were larger puzzles you could scroll around on to get a larger sense of accomplishment. Also, finishing the last puzzle and then hitting “Next Puzzle” crashed my app.
kbickell,
More isn’t always better
The UI is nice and the app is smooth with its controls. But while there are 10,000+ puzzles I am more and more convinced there are only 20 different puzzles. After doing about 200 puzzles it seems like I have just memorized how to do 12 puzzles and every once in a while the app actually makes you think. It also stinks that the app doesn’t remember where you left off and you have to scroll down hundreds of puzzles every time you open the app. It’s ok but not that challenging.
TheDisreputableDog,
Gets the job done I guess
This is indeed an impressive amount of puzzles. However, weird design choices make it difficult to play.

- You can zoom in, but the numbers get blurrier.
- The colors look pretty, but it’s very hard to read tiny light blue letters against a dark blue background when a square is selected.
- You can enter multiple numbers in each square to keep track of options, but you have to know at least two possible numbers for a square for this to work. A single number stays big so you can’t differentiate between a draft number and a final answer.

I’m getting eyestrain and a headache from peering at this app so I will have to move on. Too bad...I was excited about the number of puzzles, no ads, and variety of puzzle sizes.
