I love it
I signed up for the free trial some time ago it just cancelled on April 4th (today being April 6th) I was not automatically charged anything and yes I have a card on file... I switched to the free membership.. you can’t rush through it or else you’ll be signing up for a longer term subscription. The “x”s out of the subscription are tiny, so you really have to be careful looking for it.. but no issues on my side even my sister downloaded it, she was going through some other problems listed here as well but when I told her the above she now also has the free version... funny thing is I’m actually choosing to enroll in the subscription the food is delicious

Disappointed
So I downloaded this app, I agreed to the subscription knowing there was a trial period and I didn’t have to pay if I didn’t like it within that time frame. It keeps going into the subscription option every time I open the app and I can’t get into the actual app. I also received a kickback notice that my credit card was already charged the $45. The way it was read was I wouldn’t be charged until after the 3 day trial. That’s not true, I was immediately charged.
I tried deleting the app and uploading it again. Same problem. I can’t get into the app, let alone being charged for it right away!!! So then I decided to cancel it in my subscriptions, which I did, but it says I’ve now paid for it for an entire year. Again, no trial period.
There is no way to easily contact the developer. This is ridiculous! I’m disputing this charge. Mind you all of this, from the app being downloaded to me writing this review, it’s been 20 mins.

Awesome! But needs some fine tuning.
I’ve recently downloaded the app and was happy to find a plethora of precipices to choose from on top of the informational tips and info. Can’t wait to get started.
That being said, as I’ve looked through some of the recipes, some are more descriptive than others as far as directions and serving amounts. In my profession, paying attention to fine details is common habit so spotting differences comes naturally. Probably not a big deal for most people, but would appreciate more consistency.

Free Trial does not last 3 days!
I recently signed up for the free trial to see what this app was about. I found some very useful information and some interesting recipes. I am disappointed however because even on my subscriptions it says my trial period expires on December 1st and here it is November 30th and I can no longer go into the app without first agreeing to pay either monthly or yearly. The price tag on this app I believe is far too steep for an app that is still in development. Ie I saw two of the tabs say coming soon and there are not a TON of recipes. In fact it’s mostly breakfast with the exception of some soups and salads but not really any dinner or other lunch options. I’ve been eating semi keto for about three months now and can verify that there are tons of keto friendly recipes around and for the price this app is asking I would expect to see more content!

Great concept, needs improvements
For the most part I love the app and everything I can do in it, especially since it’s in my opinion the best free Keto app on the App Store. One thing I would change is that when your adding items to your shopping cart, sometimes you need the same item for multiple recipes but it won’t combine the quantities, so today I had 3 bottles of olive oil pop up on my list even though I only needed the 1 bottle for all 3 recipes. Another thing I noticed is that the nutritional facts when scanned into the app don’t match up with the labels on the products. I knew that I was within my carb intake but in the app it said that I wasn’t. All in all it’s a great app and I recommend it to anyone on the Keto/ low carb diet.

subscription before you can even see the apps content
Can’t see anything without actually selecting a plan type/subscription of either 12 dollars a month or 40 for the year. There is a “free”trial but i don’t think i should have to be locked in to something or make a choice based of something i can explore. A lot of developers chose to allow the user to have limited access which makes wayyyyyy more sense. Even if you only gave access to just the basic functions or did a tutorial video or demo and then the subscription options pop up it would be a better approach. My husband is trying this whole keto thing and i wanted to make sure i’m prepared so i feed him within the diet but this app unfortunately won’t be apart of the learning process. If you happen to decide to change it please update me.

As someone who wasn’t raised to eat healthy I had NO clue where to start! Often recipes call for things I had no clue where to start. There is a few things I’ve never heard of in these recipes but I have always been able to substitute when I didn’t have it. Actually, that worked out better since we were able to gently transition into eating better and didn’t have all the side effects many people have when starting Keto. Our family of 8 LOVES Keto!!! It taste great and the recipes are easy!

Literally only downloaded to bring attention to the low rating.
Didn’t even open the app, didn’t have to. The rating is rigged, out of 30 reviews one was a 5 Star and only said ‘good’ one was a 2 Star, and all the rest are 1 Star. Now tell me how it has a 4.7 rating? And the little bar graph shows mostly 5 stars, a couple 3 stars (there were no 3 star reviews), and only a few 1 stars.

Not worth it
Don’t make the same mistake I did...don’t waste your money. The free trial period is only 3 days. I paid for the subscription but I looked online first to see what info I could find. In the meantime, I started eating Keto and forgot about the 3-day trial period. When I started using the app I realized I wasted my money because everything in this app I already found FREE online. All the info on the app was everything I had read online and as far as recipes, (as of 9/7/18) there are 77 recipes. I can pay much less for a keto cookbook at Costco with all the info & even more recipes...or just go online and there are so many recipes there...free! What I didn’t know back then when I paid for this app was there are no useful tools on this app...keto calculator, macro tracker, a large database of food info, etc.

This app has some quick referencing which is nice when your unsure of food choices or what to cook. But, after having this app for almost 12 months- there hasn’t been any new info added by this developer. A few of the categories still have “coming soon” labeled just below the subject title.
After searching keto, i have found that all and any info on this diet can be found on the internet, google and Pinterest. This app is not worth paying for the subscription Or the information that is given. I cancelled unfortunately a day late and was charged for the entire year- so read the app before purchasing and seriously Save your money!!!
