Addictive Yet Frustrating
I really love this game. I’ve been telling lots of friends about it so there will be more people to play with. I usually play against the bots and something extremely frustrating keeps happening. They are almost unbeatable. Typically there is one bot that absolutely skunks me and the other two bots. I feel like I’m playing at a pace that is fun and competitive with two of them, but one is always too good. Sort of takes the fun out of it. I wish the bots were more evenly matched with me.

Really like this game but ..
I read some of the reviews and I will say we really enjoy this game I like the fast pace of it and I like the mechanics. I’m not sure i understand how you get recourses or what the gold do except give you a random resource . The bots cheat and there are some nefarious stuff going on with them. Example they just seem to get all the resource cards exactly the ones they need to win where you are stuck with the ones that don’t help you. Also something is up with the attackers I can have more military and I still lose. So I’m the end my husband and I find it’s better just to play without the bots as they are not a good match because you cannot win against them . But overall I really like this better than catan universe ( am I allowed to say this name? ) anyway keep going guys !

I love this game! I have been telling everyone about it. I spend hours on it.
The title screen UI changes are fine. Though, is there any way we can get back the old in-game UI where you can see your cards without a magnifying glass? I liked being able to see how much military opponents have, and I liked being able to open a screen to see my whole deck at the same time to see what moves were available. I don’t mind tapping once to see dev cards. Having them always visible to me is not worth all the space they take up.
Overall, great game! I still give it 5 stars. Cheers!

Great design, some annoyance
Excellent design and interface; impressive to cram all the complexities of this game into an interface you can navigate with your thumbs. I even like some of the rule nuances; “military” instead of knights, trading rates, etc.
Docked one star for:
- Requiring internet for single player games against bots. Drives me insane that even simple mobile games need a persistent connection these days.
- Unpredictable occasional gameplay bugs

Great game tried to upgrade to gold but couldn’t
Great game overall, wish there was more online players… can you schedule monthly or weekly tournaments??? So I can play with a real human vs bots? Also tried to upgrade to gold but was too hard… kept on doing a loop saying I had to upgrade guest account, then said I already had account…I’d stream this on twitch if I was given free gold… thanks

Fun! But has glitches
Fun game! Some glitches though. When I try to edit my character it changes back to the original look as soon as I click the tab for the next feature to edit. Not a huge deal but would love to change that

Great but…
New update requiring tutorial completion, already completed. When completed a second time, it doesn’t register that it’s been completed.

Great implementation of that explore and settle game. But ultimately deleted the app because:
1. I really don't like cities and knights, and without a way to turn it off, I have no interest in playing.
2. All the animations were overkill and slow.
3. The board was hard to analyze quickly. Not enough contrast with colors, number tiles were small and hard to read, red dots at the vertices were visually noisy and distracting.
It's definitely a good start, but with these issues, it's hard to see playing. I'll wait to see if future updates address these issues.

Clean design
Finally a catan app with cities and knights and seafarers that did it right for mobile. So easy to use and a few small rule changes to make the game faster! Love the no knights and added military!
