For many years, peace has reigned in the Kingdom of the Gilded Sun. That all changes when the wicked Monster Army suddenly attacks. With the main forces fighting battles far away, it falls to you, the son of the High General of the Gilded Sun Army, to bring together a fighting force and repel the invaders. In each real-time battle, you'll need to collect resources and use them wisely to deploy your units against the enemy. You can then use the spoils from the fight to improve your units as you see fit before heading out again.

With a wide variety of units and lots of ways to upgrade them, no 2 players will use the same strategy to win. Whether you prefer to get up close and personal with your melee attackers or hang back and pick off foes from a distance, you're sure to find a number of different warriors to suit your needs.

Fantastic games but difficult to get access despite playing it up until last year

This game, monster wars, and stellar wars are by far my favorite mobile games of all time and I loved playing them when I was younger and still do. That being said getting access to these games is so difficult. I got access to legendary wars a few years ago but after getting a new phone I have so far been unable to get access to legendary wars and have never been able to get access to monster wars. I love these games but I’d honestly rather them just make them cost money so I can pay them off instantly rather than paying for the membership every month or contacting the devs and getting access which has been very fluky. Love the games just really want a simple way of getting them permanently

Disappointed

This used to be one of my favorite games of all time. Go back to 2011 and I played this game for a very very long time. It is so much fun, and I combined 3 of my favorite elements in games: the gameplay of rpg and tower defense and in the setting of fantasy. It was truly a joy and a wonder that I wish everyone could experience. Now, the disappointment. I haven’t played in several years and I for whatever reason was singing its theme song and I wanted to find out what it was, and I found this game again. I thought to myself “AWESOME! I’m re-downloading this right now, and I will play the heck out of it.” I downloaded it and it was fun... GameClub is persistent in offering their subscription... very persistent. So much so that they make anything past the third level(the archer only level) impossible to play without the subscription. I’m not a penny pincher, but personally I’d rather pay $5 for this game outright than $5 a month and have access to “all their games as free.” It’s very disappointing to see the greed of what mobile gaming has become infect one of my favorite games ever, period. I had no interest in any other game than this, and it is disappointing that you do not have an option for a second “payment” like no subscription, but an outright purchase. It won’t happen, but those are my thoughts. I’m still just very upset to see this. Have a nice day everyone

Still is one of the better games on the market

I had this game since its opening and loved every second of the game. I had this game downloaded on an older IOS device and after completing the final stage on the volcano map there was nothing else to do, so I deleted it to clear up some space (again this was on the old device). Years later I remembered the game and went to see if it was available on the App Store but to my disappointment it wasn’t. Now up to the present, I decided to look again for old times sake and surprisingly saw the app’s iconic logo and immediately I downloaded the game.
Going through the first 5 stages and hearing the music was great nostalgia to me, but upon receiving the message of a subscription to further progress in the game left me disappointed. I guess my only regret is deleting the game on the old device :/.

Update: I contacted the support them and they were more than kind of letting me have my old account back. They’re very understanding.

Why is legendary war and monster here？

I and my little brother use to compete to see who got better on this game and it is fun and addicting to player even if we beaten all the modes to the mini games but after expecting the alien vs robot game to come out legendary war and monster war was gone. I am sad to see we have to pay on this even though it was free back then and personally the mini games were good, but i was kinda hoping for a new update to the story of both games. Ill contact for that game we luv on customer service, but please fix these bugs ty.
Still adding on this is the new starting point I am glad I am able to play the games we love and with my very brief (2 page) explaining the game of what I experienced and play and pointing out some bugs that they unlocked the game for me. I sincerely thank them and in the near future when my schedule open up I will see their game catalogue and if I do find games I wanna play subscribe then.

What a pathetic cash grab

This was one of my favorite games of all time back in 2010. I used to play this game none stop on my iPod 4 and was so excited once I found it again after all these years. Now they won’t even let you pay past level 5 without paying 5 dollars a month for a stupid subscription. And I’ve seen how they respond to these complaints saying if you previously had this game you don’t have to subscribe and how exactly is that fair to the rest of us? So people who didn’t play your game in 2011 now have to pay a 5 dollar subscription? That’s absolutely absurd and such an obvious cash grab. I am so disappointed by what this game turned into and will be deleting it immediately. Do not download this game unless you want to waste 15 minutes playing through a tutorial only to be blocked from playing the rest of the game unless you pay 2 dollars short of a Disney plus subscription. I am going to be spreading the word to everyone I know to not download this game and if they have the game on an older phone to delete it.

Still a great game just disappointed

This game is the best game that was made in the early 2010s by livid games. A few years ago I tried to find the game for old times sake and was disappointed to see that it was not in the App Store. Jump to current day and I just happen to be thinking about the game and look it up and I am surprised that it’s in the App Store. I download it only to find that I must now pay a subscription to play it when I have bought it previously along with the other game such as monster wars and stellar wars. I have reached out to the developers for the game and will update the review when I hear back.

This game has changed, please help in any way

when I was little, my brother and I always played this game for fun, this was one of my favorite games. my brother liked monster wars and I liked legendary wars. i thought im if i could play this again, it tried to find the games but couldn’t find it after a while and then i finally found it. i was so excited to see the menu where you upgrade your troops and the miner during a battle. it all felt so great but then it costed $5 pet month to play. i remember when this game was fun now it is just a game forcing me to give money to play a game that I have been playing since my childhood. i’m sorry but this game has changed

Amazing game

I love this game to death and I’m not that mad about the 5$ subscription since you get access to a lot of games anyways I know your guys whole thing is about getting rid of in app purchases but I seem to want it back it’s totally fine and cool if you guys don’t want to add them back since it would seem hypocritical but When I was young I always bought the monnstones and thought I was the coolest for having all the characters upgraded but I completely understand not being purchases back thanks for restoring the game and letting us play it though thanks

A Love long forgotten

I used to play this game all the time and I almost beat it a couple times. Now I tried playing it again after redownloading it on my new phone and I got through the first 4 levels before it said I can’t play anymore. This game is 5 stars but now it shouldn’t even be one because of the dumb people who bought the game and who overcharge for stupid games no ones going to play. I’m not going to get the subscription because first I don’t care about any of the other games I just care about this one and I’d gladly buy this if it was just a couple dollars but a subscription to a service with stupid games is a rip off. Change the price and make it so we don’t have to buy the subscription and I’d gladly buy the game again to play it because this has been one of my favorite iPhone games for a long time.

Great game

Really wish I was able to buy more soulstones/moonstones back then I wasn't able to when I first got legendary and monster wars as I was just a kid. But now that I do have cash to spend I can't since in app purchases to get gems and stones are not in the games and I am stuck on both games as the difficulty is just too hard and I cannot get more stones, gems ain't a problem as I can replay levels for them but pls put in app purchases in the game again so I can buy stones to upgrade the units to new tiers
