Love everything but the mini games
This game is great!! I love the way it plays and the pacing, also the art is very nice. I’ve had a lot of fun playing but I can’t get any ending better than a bronze unless by chance or having rich parents, the mini games are the main reason why. The few times I get to the mini games, even the easier “lower expectations” I can’t do it because of the time limit and the fact you have to be perfect. I wish there was a way you could practice these mini games, that way the difficulty could still be hard and accurate to real life, but it is a game so being able to get past this with some practice rather than almost not at all would be great.

Incredible Game! Frustrating Mini Games
I agree with a lot of the reviews on that the mini games are basically impossible. The execution of everything is very clever, but the difficulty of this one aspect makes the game to repetitive and boring. It’s not so much of a challenge as it is a wall. The mini game where you have to spin a wheel for things like friends and pets feels really clever to me. It really plays on the whole idea of relationships being a gamble, and it’s not as impossible as the work related ones. If you were afraid people would have too easy of a time if you make the mini games easier don’t! I’ve failed to even take the tests plenty of times, and I feel like the tests being more rewarding would only be an improvement.
Otherwise I think this is one of your best games! I’ve checked out your other mobile games and they are both very fun, but this one has the best pacing and artwork of them all. The game show esque music is both relaxing and fills you with tension, and it’s sets the mood super well. I think this game has incredible potential, but the mini games need some improvement.

Not For The Depressed
This is a wonderful game and well executed. However, I have 2 somewhat negative things to say about it.
1: Like everyone else, I agree that the mini games are nearly impossible to beat, and while I get that that can be a metaphor about how without the right resources, even with the right opportunities things rarely work out (even you’re poor), the way it is now the mini games just makes the game not fun.
2: They give you a warning when you start the game that it evolves heavy topics. While I don’t think the topics are heavy, it’s still not a game for people with depression. The futility of trying to get *anywhere* in the game yet failing again and again and again and again and again, really isn’t good for my depression. For that reason I had to uninstall or I end up a news article.

This game is exactly what I wanted to see
Life is not easy. This game shows that perfectly it teaches people so many lessons you have to use your time wisely and pick what you put that time into doing. The mini games are so hard but it makes it so rewarding when you finally get the ending you want. This game is all I’ve wanted to see for a long time it’s difficult and fun at the same time while being able to get awesome combos. I will say my only complaint about the game is the tarot card system. To get a 5 combo is not easy and you shouldn’t be punished for getting at 5 combo that’s about the only issue from this game I believe the best game (yes better than don’t get fired) that this company has made.

Very fun, but challenges unrealistically difficult
Going into this game, I assumed it was meant to replicate real life: how much of it was chance, difficulty of loans, and realistically, how most people stay poor regardless of dreams. Overall, I felt the gameplay did a good job of keeping this consistent.
HOWEVER, the challenges in order to “achieve a dream” are too hard. Considering we spend most of the time doing a matching puzzle (up to like, 40 points) it’s clear the effort put in. The last puzzle to achieve the dream is way too difficult and what i found MOST disheartening abt the game. This game does not inspire replays to get every ending.

Love this game but ….
I feel as if it hides behind “realism” while really just being an overly-cynical view on life. This is more of a personal peeve than real criticism of the game itself though. Even when you “win”, you’re not really “winning”. Although some of the endings are a lot more hopeful, which I thought was a nice little change of pace from the rest of the endings.
Other than that, I really just get annoyed with the minigames. I’ve been slowly (VERY slowly) getting better at them though, so there’s that? Overall it’s a cute game. Can’t wait for the next updates!

This studio’s other games had a lot of charm and a similarly cynical outlook. This game is better with the recent update, but still ultimately boring and frustrating. The most fun part of this game is the “candy crush” gameplay and I wish the developers had made that part more sophisticated.
Instead, this game is really about matching blocks and then playing difficult minigames (they are still hard after the update and just not very fun) to collect endings.
I pick it up every once in a while and then remember why I don’t play it anymore.

Too difficult
I’m all down for difficult games but this game is far to difficult it’s nice because the message is saying that life isn’t supposed to be easy but the fact that time nodes just come down to much there more time nodes than nodes helping you progress if the game board was bigger it probably wouldn’t be an issue but it’s a 5/5 board so maybe it would help balancing for the loans and time nodes maybe just add more phases of life but overall the games alright maybe a few changes can keep people playing but it’s fun if your lucky the games just a lottery

Fun but too difficult
This is quite a fun game, with a great story to tell. The life of young people around the world had become more and more difficult and this game does a great job showing it, but the difficulty of the mini games is a bit too much. I understand life is not like “once you make it you can relax” but the job mini games are unnecessarily fast. It’s frustrating when after multiple failure lives, you finally get a good job, just to fail the mini game. After 50 games so far I have never completed a single mini game.
